Signs and symptoms may appear in as little as two days after exposure to the virus. These may include coughing, sore throat, runny nose, sneezing, headache, fatigue, and fever. Why is Actifed banned

I'm looking for the old formulation of Actifed. Are there any countries that still sell it? I know you can use it to make drugs, but it's the only thing that works for me (and it helps me sleep too). I would not have ANY problem having the FBI at my house if I could get some. They'd be sitting on my shelf just exactly like my 16 bottles of shampoo, 42 bars of soap and 18 boxes of bandaids (I'm not a hoarder, I just hate running out of stuff...and stupidly, before that stuff went away, I didn't buy a ton of it). The stuff they sell behind the counter is a reformulation....it's different. ## Actually, Janet, those are the ingredients in the new formulation. The original Actifed contained Pseudoephedrine and Tripolodine. Ref: The new formulation [NDC 27854-119] con...

Flonase and Cataracts

Has anyone that has used Flonase got cataracts? I have them because of it and nasonex. Are there any class actions against the makers of this? I would not have used it if I had known. ## Have the doctors definitively tied your cataracts to the medications? We have had other posts on here about vision issues developing from people using these types of medications. The problem, however, is proving they are what caused it. And no, I'm sorry, but I know of no class action suits in regards to this. ## My eye surgeon said they were definately caused by steroids and the only one I have used is flonase. She said she could tell by the location of my cataracts, they are posterior and can only be caused by steroid use. If enough people have this kind, I would think it could be proven. ## i hav...

Can I Take Mucinex And Methadone

I'm sick and wanted to know if I can take mucinex fast max with my methadone, and if it is ok to do so? ## I didn't find any problems or interactions listed, but you should double check this information to be certain. The major issue I see could be due the combination worsening the side effects, so you may experience more nausea, dizziness and drowsiness. ## I'm on 100 mg of methadone and I'm sick and bought a box of expectorant mucus relief that says 400 mg of guaifenesin. Is it safe to take this medicine with methadone? ## NEVER, NEVER TAKE MUCINEX WITH METHADONE. Extreme hallucinations and paranoia result. This happened to a family member two times and he ended up behaving erratically and needed a tranquilizer. He does not remember any of it. ## I just took 2 mucinex ...

Lee's save the baby. Where can I find it?

The is in a clear bottle with a red screw on cap. The liquid is yellow in color It has oil in it that separates and goes to the top when bottle sits. To use run the bottle under warm water and shake to mix. Applythe warm liquid tothe child's chest and under nose to relieve symptoms of croupe. Instead of placing a drop under the nose you can also place it on a pillowcase or sheet. ## It was made by the Lee's company and yes, it is patent protected. The reason it is no longer available is that it contained Camphor, yes, even in the liquid that was taken internally and the FDA has recognized this as being unsafe. Camphor is now only approved to be used topically. As to the other ingredients, I am sorry, I have been unable to discover that. Does anyone else know anything about this?...

Cetirizine side effects and withdrawal

I recently had to stop my Cetirizine for an antibiotic challenge test at my allergists office a week ago. Now I'm reading about withdrawal. I had a little itching all over like insect bites, but mostly since being back on Cetirizine, my nasal passages close completely during the day. I've tried Guaifenesin and just 100 mg or even 50 mg will open me up for 4 hours. Problem is I have irregular heart beats and weird dreams while in bed. I live in the country and there is plenty of dust. I think staying on this drug is risky. What other antihistamine might I try and I need to wean off of the one I'm on? Any advice is appreciated.
