I have been taking suboxone for four years it's helped me a whole lot, the past few days I have developed swelling in my feet and my legs u think it's caused by the suboxone or might have something else wrong with me ## Hello, Christy! How are you? Yes, as listed by the FDA, the Naloxone in it can cause peripheral edema, but you should have it checked out to be sure. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Are there adverse affects from takin suboxone and hydrocodone...im worried about my unborn nephew!! ## Hello, Lisa! How are you? I understand your concern and am happy to address this for you. First, if a woman is pregnant, she should be taking Subutex, rather than Suboxone, because the Naloxone in Suboxone may have adverse effects on the baby. Additionally, if she is taking Lortab with it, there is no reason whatsoever to be doing so. The Naloxone also blocks the effects of other opiates, so they won't have any effect or help with pain. The FDA classifies these medications as narcotics, so they have the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is her OB Gyn aware that she's taking both?

I started taking methadone about 10yrs ago for pain. Started with 80mg a day and by the 2nd yr I was down to 40-50 mg a day. Over this past year I weaned myself off to nothing VERY slowly. It has been a month and I still can't sleep and feel like crap. Any replies would be appreciated. ## Methadone is notoriously hard to stop, it's very well known to cause severe withdrawals and cravings that can last a very long time. It may actually take a couple months, before you start to feel back to normal. That's why many people treated with it for drug addiction end up on a lifetime maintenance dose of it, rather then becoming completely drug free. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, ...

I moved to kingsport Tennessee back in August of last year and found me a suboxone Dr immediately. I then began taking my prescription to one of the Walgreens, well they kept not having them, so I found another Walgreens, well I have been using this Walgreens now for 7 months now, I finally got tenncare, and went in last week to get my subs for the first time on my tenncare for 3$ (hell yea lol) anyway, when I got there the pharmacist informs me that I can no longer get my meds filled there without a TN ID, so I immediately went to the dmv to get a state ID, and i cant get it bc my frigging married name isn't the same as my birth certificate of course, so they told me to get my marriage license, well I finally figured out how to get my marriage license without drinking 700 miles, i ...

dr in ky that will give me methadone one time a month for a 30 day sup. ## Hello, Eark! How are you? I'm sorry, but under current law for Methadone treatment, you have to receive it from a clinic and the maximum take home supply you can have is 2 weeks. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Hi I have a zubsolv pill is this the same as a 8mg suboxen ## Hello, Travis! How are you? What is the dosage of the Zubsolv? Yes, it does contain Naloxone and Buprenorphine, just like Naloxone, so it is also used to treat drug addiction and pain. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Marijuana mixed with drugs......how can I help my son to stop with this addiction ## What is the pill he's taking and how much is he taking? Suboxone is only used to treat very serious drug addiction, such as someone that's abusing and addicted to very large daily doses of Oxycodone, or other opiates. Learn more Suboxone details here. It isn't safe to use it to treat just occasional use habits. ## Do not get your son started on Suboxone, it is highly addictive and will ruin his life, better to be on marijuana, additionally marijuana withdrawal is nothing, anyone can do it with little to no discomfort, believe me I stopped cold turkey after two years of everyday smoking. As for suboxone, I cannot get off it and it is ruining my life. I hope this gets to you in time.

I've been on suboxone for about four yrs, but the last two at this one doctor and been great for two years, not once messed up, and now they had found xanax in my system which was only a half blue one, and this last month they called and left me a reminder and everything seemed ok. well the day of my appt they called me as im driving to see them and tell me they're putting me out cause of the xanax (a month ago) and then kicked me out after they remind me of my appt. And they know im out of my med cause well thats where i was going. Bottom line, last month or whenever they i said i failed this drug panel for xanax, isnt when they were kicking me out. They remind me of my appt the day of kicking me out and dont even give last script or anything to help me. They're using somet...

I lost my prescription and I normally take methadone and hydrocodone. The lady doctor I have wont get me tramadol. I have a month to go and the pain is excruciating. I was given some oxycodone and I'm to the point I can't stand the pain anymore. I'm just wondering if they can tell the difference on a drug test? I don't believe it's right what she's doing to me.

I've been trying to find a subutex doctor. I used to take oxys, perk 30's and other opiates but then I started subutex. I now have a good job and want to keep it that way! But now any doctor I've called wants to prescribe suboxone first and it makes me sick. it gives me migraines (which I have chronic migraine syndrome so it must be a trigger) a rash and makes me sick to the stomach. Second I have no insurance and its just way too expensive from all the research I've done. Does anyone know of doctors in central PA that prescribe subutex or how I go about getting subutex and not suboxone?? ## I go to a dr in Mobile Al who I adore - its a total judgment free zone but majority staff are lazy and don't return calls - the same ones who are good are amazing! Taking opiates and want to stop. I have sub and plan on starting it in the morning. My last dose was around three pm and I will wake around ten am and start the sub. I'm so fearful and need help. I guess I'm looking for support from someone who knows what I can expect. ## You have to be in full withdrawal from the opiate you were taking, before you can take Suboxone. Otherwise, the Naloxone in it may throw you into dangerous precipitated withdrawals. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction. It carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation and dry mouth. I'm on suboxone strips so can I start on a z-pak for my allergies? Does anyone have an answer it would be greatly appreciated. ## Hello, Panda bear! How are you? An antibiotic will not do anything to treat your allergies. They are only effective at treating bacterial infections. The FDA lists the typical side effects of them as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. If you're suffering from allergy symptoms, you likely need an antihistamine. Has your doctor recommended anything?

I need a methadone doctor in Evans, GA or Martinez GA. ## Hello, Brandi! How are you? I'm sorry, but there is no 'methadone doctor' so to speak. Technically, any doctor can prescribe it for pain, however, if you're looking for it for addiction treatment, then a clinic is your only option. A private practice doctor is not allowed to prescribe it for that, it can only be given in a clinical setting by those that have been specially trained in its use. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Can anyone suggest a place in that area?

I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. You will most likely need to physically go to the pharmacies you called, with your prescription in hand, to get an honest/accurate answer.
