Sub Support Needed.
UpdatedTaking opiates and want to stop. I have sub and plan on starting it in the morning. My last dose was around three pm and I will wake around ten am and start the sub. I'm so fearful and need help. I guess I'm looking for support from someone who knows what I can expect.

You have to be in full withdrawal from the opiate you were taking, before you can take Suboxone.
Otherwise, the Naloxone in it may throw you into dangerous precipitated withdrawals.
The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction. It carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation and dry mouth.
What instructions did your doctor provide?
Thank you for your reply Vernon, I'm aware of the need to be in withdrawals befor taking the sub. If I sleep late after using the day before I wake in withdrawl. I'm not in touch with a doctor because I have no insurance. I was in a detox a moth ago and while there I was in a room with someone that had so much drugs I never took my subs I saved them. It was a stupid thing to do but I just couldn't say no so after three days of that we were discharged and now I have the subs and want to do the fast taper the way the detox planned. I don't have much 14 mg I want to start with 4 and cut it down by half everyday. I plan on doing it for about five days then I'll skip days. I will jump at .125mg
