I am 67 yrs of age and diabetic. My HbA1c is 7.0. For impaired urin flow I was advised silodal 8mg for 2 months, 1 tab at night after dinner. My PSA 3 months before starting silodal was 3.8 and 4.6 after stopping silodal. I was operated 12 yrs back for enlarged prostate. Recent USG shows prostate size to be normal. Dos silodal 8mg elevates PSA level? Should I be worried about prostate cancer?

I have been having this( stomach pain and loose motion) for more than a year. Previously it was after eating non veg, but now after eating even veg im getting stomach pain. I showed some doctors, one said it was bacterial infection due to improper cooked beef. After eating the medicine i was feeling much better. I have some pills that are suppose to be metformin. It is round one side has SG and the other side has 105. Is this the right pill? ## Hello, Mary! How are you? My mother is 82 yrs old and is bed ridden for the last 4.5 yrs due to knee & hip problem. she is diabetic too. She is on Mixtard. She is also Catheterized for the last 4yrs. Hi. I got married before 2 years. after 6 months of marriage I came to know that I have a cyst in my ovaries. then I took metformin for 8 months. after that also no improvement. Then I took Myocyst for four months and apcod for a month then I was shocked to know that my cyst are cleared. I am a diabetic for past several years. As I already posted that I developed Collitis and was prescribed SaazDS and Morease. Suddenly my FBS and RBS droped to normal and some times below. Previously for diabetes I was prescribe insulin (Novomix 30) twice and Trajanta 5 after lunch, Now I have stopped taking insulin in the morning and reduced in the evening, in the morning now I am taking Trajanta 5. Iam a type-2 diabetic for the past 10 years taking insulin 15 - 15. 3 Years back I was d diagonised with fatty liver and my bilirubin count is around 2 +/- .5. had pain and pins and needles from my hip to my ankles on the left side of my leg. Pain so bad couldn"t sleep.Pain mangement could not help. where can I find Gymnema Sylvestrie by Himalaya Herbs ## Hello, Will! How are you? This is listed as a supplement, by the FDA, it's actually an herb. It's believed, but not proven, to decrease the amount of sugar absorbed from the investing and to increase the amount of insulin in the body. There are warnings listing it's possibly effect on those who are diabetic, it may lower blood sugar too far and shouldn't be taken within 2 weeks of surgery. However, I am not sure where to find this brand. There are many others available, though, including one from Nature's Way and Natrol, both of which are reliable manufacturers. Does anyone know where to find this one?

I have been taking Metanx for about 6 months and it was working ok. I Recently lost my job and when I went to my Poditrist he told me of a new medicine that can save me a lot of money. Can this product be used if person is diabetic ## Hi Clint, From what I could gather, Azitromicina (Azithromycin) does not list any contraindications against patients who have diabetes. So based off this information alone, I don't see any reason why it can't be used. However depending on the manufacturer, it may still be a good idea to double check the list of "inactive" ingredients for any artificial sweeteners like sucrose that diabetics could be sensitive to. On one last note, because this information is not a substitute for medical advice I'd always encourage you to talk with your doctor first before taking anything you are unsure of, especially if you have a pre-existing condition.
