Hello all, I've been issued Rhodes oxycodone 10/325 by CVS in Nashville and have had very bad reactions, some good reactions and sometimes no reactions at all from these pills. This is my first script of 120 pills and need some info on how to file a complaint to the FDA. I've taken these pills in the past (percodan, percocet) and never had to think twice whether or not they would ease my pain. With these I never know what I'm going to get. Sometimes I just feel awful with NO pain relief whatsoever. Sometimes they work fine and other times just barely. How can a company do business with such an unpredictable product? Needless to say I will be short, so add extreme anxiety as well. I've read others who share the same stories and believe me I feel for you. I've also mad...

I am very sensitive to fillers and have just learned that "MYLAN" has discontinued it's Lorazepam. I cannot find a brand using the same inactive ingredients as MYLAN, which I tolerate well. Can you tell me who makes Lorazepam as MYLAN did, with Lactose Monohydrate, Microcrystalline Cellulos, Polacrilin Potassium and Sodium Stearyl Fumarate? (PLZ include all that you find as our area has very few pharmacies.) THANK YOU. ## Hello HomeTown Mom, Sorry to hear that the brand that works for you is being discontinued. Hopefully I can give you some viable options based upon the information you have given me. Out of the 100 brands I reserached on the NIH website these are the few that have the exact same active and inactive ingredients as the Mylan brand. Mylan Aphena Proficient Rx L...

I started last week 2.5. I was so nauseous. vomited and one day of diarrhea. It would just come on all of the sudden. I never had nausea this bad. Then back off. It finally subsided after 3 days but I felt sore in my stomach. I talked to doctor. Said try not to take the nausea meds. To eat bland diet. I was not hungry and probably had an empty stomach on my part I didn't want to eat feeling sick at my stomach anyway. 2nd week here. I wasn't going to do it. But going to try... this sucks. The instructions say two weeks then shouldn't have nausea. ## Sorry about your nausea, I'm on week 5 with the lowest dose. As long as im losing I'll stay on the low dose, here's why. 2 summers ago I tried ozempic for 3 mos & lost # well, but the nausea, cramping & diarrhe...

Need to know where to purchase Rumoquin N.F. pills other than Tijuana, BC? Thank you for any help you can give me. ## Rumoquin NF contains the active ingredients: 100mgs of Phenylbutazone (a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory): 200mgs of Methocarbamol (a muscle relaxant): and Dexamethasone (a corticosteroid): It is used to treat pain and swelling. That said, I am not sure where else you can purchase it, since this combination is not approved in the U.S. Have you tried seeing if you can order it online? ## My wife has arthritis in her lower back and left hip and leg. Is Rumoquin NF a good way to go. What she is taking now is doing nothing. Also is there weight gain related to this medication? ## You can purchase Artridol (same medicine) from {edited for policy reasons} for $77 for 40 capsule...

My wife is in the hospital dealing with stage 4 breast cancer. She was doing really good on Lynparza until the hospital took her off for 11 days. Now she's dying.

Is it just me and the pain I'm in or does anyone else feel like the Xtampza just isn't cutting it ! I started on 9mg every 12 hours two months ago. I at one point even filled out a DEA report and returned the medication to my doctor's office ( after spending a lot of money on it) To only have to go without it because my insurance insists it's same as others and wouldn't let me fill another type. Anyway, was put back on it, in this type of pain, I'll try try try. Now I'm getting it twice a day 13.5 mg ( equivalent to a 15mg) ...It gives me a headache and spaces me out and I can honestly say does not last 12 hours as it claims to. You can literally ( physically) feel it wear off within 8 hours and is crappy ! It is not , does not control my pain... Maybe it...

Hi, Has anyone seen/taken or have any information on Bensedin (Galenika) Diazepam 10mg? The box/strip looks ok but the actual tablet is white circular/domed with no markings at all.... I presume that they are Eastern European. Any information at all would be most appreciated. Peace ## Yes, received my prescription today. Took 1/4 tab, now, two hours later, my spasms from a ski shoulder injury, are not spasming anymore. I plan to take another 1/4 tad 2.5mg before bed. Seems like a good brand. ## Galenika bensedin is very very high quality pharmaceutical grade diazepam! it is top notch, one of the best brands available. Bensedin 10mg x 15 Tabs in a blister pack, 30 x 10mg diazepam a box, and around. I also am prescribed Galenika ksalol/alprazolam 1mg x 15 tabs a blister pack 30 x 1mg tabs...

I need to know how to stop taking contrave. Can I just quit cold turkey or do I wean off? If I wean off how do I do it? ## Hello, Janice! How are you? How long have you been taking it? Why do you want to stop it? The FDA lists Contrave as being used to aid in weight loss and its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, nervousness, insomnia and anorexia. Have you consulted your doctor? It does require slow tapering for some people. ## I was looking up how to wean myself off of Contrave and found this comment on here. I've been taking Confrave for about a month or so. I just started the 2 pills in the morning and 2 pills at night dose Sunday (today is Friday). I've felt horrible all week since increasing it. Hot flashes in my face, horrible nausea, glands some...

I do not have IBS but whenever I travel, I get constipated. Can Linzess be taken only when I travel? ## Linzess is a medicine people usually take every day if they have ongoing constipation problems, like with IBS-C. It works by pulling more water into your gut and helping things move along, but it's not really meant to be used "once in a while." If you only take it when you travel, it might not work the way you want - sometimes it won't help at all, and other times it could kick in with sudden diarrhea, which isn't fun if you're on the road. If constipation only happens to you when you travel, there are easier and safer fixes. Things like drinking plenty of water, moving around, eating some fiber, or even using over-the-counter stuff like Miralax, Colace, or a g...

What is not allowed while taking lisinopril; food, drugs or drinks. ## Lisinopril is an ACE inhibitor, that is most commonly used to treat high blood pressure. If you are being treated for high blood pressure, you should be informed to avoid food or beverage products that contain real licorice or licorice extract, since it can raise blood pressure. The only food/beverage interaction is that you should watch out for items that contain very high levels of potassium. Getting to much potassium, while taking Lisinopril can lead to Hyperkalemia, which can be a dangerous condition. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, headache and stomach pain. I came across a scary situation the other day that i think most people on lorazepam might be interested in. I take 1.5 mg of lorazepam a day, have been so for 30 years. My doctor has never mentioned any problems with my medication. Then last week i got a call from her that was frantic and uncontrollable, she kept repeating i have to wean down my dosage and kept repeating if you take oxycodone i could die. It was clear that she wasn't listening to one thing i was telling her. Today i called my family doctor to see what's going on with the DEA and he told me that recently they are looking at prescriptions over 1 mg. My first thought is i should get a new doctor. The conversation with the first doc, my shrink, was as unprofessional as i have ever had and if i don't have to ever...

for eczema, psoriasis- seeping, cracking, blistering skin- I personally used it from the age of 6 mos. in 1955 to 1988, then it disappeared from shelves- it was an over the counter cream and it really worked. At the age of 3 months my skin would swell, crack and seep a clear liquid- a pediatrician introduced the cream to my mother and at the time they had a bar soap, shampoo and cream-of which I used occasionally over the course of 30 years then all of a sudden it disappeared. I did have part of a jar I used sparingly and guarded with my life and I called the company that made the cream and they said that they took the recipe out of circulation. The jar is long gone- sadly and I do not know the name of the pharmaceutical company that originally made it. I now am entering menopause and m...

I took my first dose of Ozempic 0.25mgs and within an hour had really bad stomach cramps (which resulted in quite severe diarrhea and nausea). Is it normal to experience side effects that quickly or is it an unlucky coincidence? ## Yes, you can experience side effects having just taken one dose, it has been known to happen to many people. Along with the issues you experienced, the FDA also warns that other side effects may include tiredness, headache, dizziness, loss of appetite, and bloating. Ref: Ozempic Information How are you doing, now? Has there been any change? ## I am on my 2nd dose of 0.5mg and still have almost daily post meal diarrhea, bloating and stomach churning. It has done wonders for my blood sugar glucose was 99 last Thursday, but will the diarrhea ever go away? ## I h...

I currently take Adderall IR 20MG twice daily. My question is this: How many MG of Dexedrine IR would be equal to Adderall IR 20MG? How do you convert Adderall IR 20MG to Dexedrine IR 20MG? ## Hello, James! How are you? Usually, these medications are considered equivalent in dosages, so a 20mg dose of one would require a 20mg dose of the other to be therapeutically equivalent. The FDA warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, weight loss, irritability, and other mood changes. What dosage your doctor recommend? ## The old name for the dexedrine IR was called dextrostat. The dexedrine does not last as long but has a much smoother taper IMHO. The doses are for most intent and purposes similar. I woul...

Hi: I've been prescribed Adderall 20mg IR (generic amphetamine salts, 2x daily) and I found I was just dripping sweat in any type of heat or even at 40 deg after some exertion. My doctor switched me to dextroamphetamine (again, generic, 10 mg, 2x daily), and there is no improvement. The new drug is not as effective as the Adderall. My doctor is not that familiar with this class of drugs, but my pharmacist specialized in mental health drugs and suggested that an ER or XR version might work better. I've also read that some people do better on certain types of generics or the name brands. Has anyone found that: 1) an extended release version has physical side effects (i.e., sweating)? 2) a name brand, rather than generic, has been more effective at preventing side effects? 3) a dif...

I realized my generic medication was dextroamphetamine which is dexedrine and doesn't work for me. It actually gives me a fever and makes me feel ill. I usually take the amphetamine salts combo which is Adderall. How do I remedy the situation with this pharmacy? The doctor wrote it right but the cvs pharmacist is not taking this seriously. They could hurt someone by giving them the wrong drug. I can't take dexedrine, I get feverish and don't feel right on it. What do I do, who can I call to get what I need now? ## Dextroamphetamine immediate release tablet was Dexedrine, but they left that market and it is now Zenzedi. Dexedrine Spansules is the extended release version which would be a capsule. Most, not everyone, but most people will find 100% dextroamphetamine to be stron...

Epic Pharma Adderall does not seem to work at all no matter the dosage. Anyone else experience this? ## I haven’t tried this one. I try to only get Teva because the other ones don’t work well for me. Please report this to the FDA medwatch. You can do it online. They may be bad like the Aurobindo brand. ## We are all different, so which manufacturer's products work for each of us may differ. Adderall is a stimulant medication that is most commonly used to treat ADHD, shift-work sleep disorder, and narcolepsy. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, nervousness, and insomnia. It seems to me that Mirtazapine is a potentially dangerous drug with little information known about it. My veterinarian prescribed this drug in small quantities for my cat as an appetite stimulant, so I began reading articles on the drug and its effects. Although it is supposed to be used as an antidepressant for humans, it has a wide reputation for causing suicidal tendencies in children and young adults. It causes weight gain (the side effect my vet was looking for in my cat's case). It also can cause feelings of depression, and wooziness. I spoke with a nurse who took it and she said the effects of sluggishness and dizziness lasted 2 to 3 days. It can also cause nausea and headaches. It seems to me that these side effects are anything but what a person who is already depressed sh...

I have an orange round pill with no markings and want to know if this is generic Percocet 7.5-325mg? The prescription was filled at a Mexican pharmacy, made by Qualitest. ## Hi Sue, I personally wouldn't trust anything without a marking as there is virtually no way to verify its contents, outside of a lab analysis that usually costs more time and energy than it's worth, at least in my opinion. Qualitest is regarded as a legitimate pharmaceutical manufacturer and the FDA requires them to imprint all pharmaceuticals for distribution in the US. However, in Mexico, I don't know how much a company of this stature can get away with in regards to selling unregulated medication. Do you live in the US and get this filled while visiting Mexico or was the prescription filled at a Mexic...

I filled a prescription for 10 mg generic oxycodone at a pharmacy in Mexico. It is a round white pill with no markings at all. It came in a sealed bottle that says "PERCO 10 mg". Below that, it says "Oxycodone 10 mg". In small print, it states that is manufactured for Generic Lab Inc. Corona CA by Purdue Pharmaceuticals. It even lists the US Patents for the drug. Is this a legit generic drug they were able to release without any markings in Mexico? I only took it once and they did nothing. Should I be afraid to take them? ## It is hard to know for sure. Mexico really does not regulate their medications like the U.S., Canada, and some other countries. Thus, there is no way to be sure what these tablets contain.
