I got my alprazolam refill. One was a bar and the others are round white tablets with a score line on one side. Apparently these are 4 mg but I've never seen them round before. Could these be xanax and what could be in them? On the packaging it says "xanax with added sleep enhancers". ## What? I had a bout of Epilepsy end of year 2019 and was prescribed Lamotrigine 200mg am and pm. It did its work and the seizures stopped, after around 8 months I developed muscle cramps on my right side and was diagnosed with Osteoarthritis. After a lot of research into side effects I found out that muscle cramps and memory loss (which I have) were a big issue for Lamotrigine. My neurologist said just coincidence and not to change my medication as it could be dangerous to do so, but he did lower the dosage to 175mg twice a day. And I see my GP to investigate the Osteoarthritis of which I did and after a full examination he said to me I did not have any kind of arthritis, so I weened myself off the and the muscle cramps disappeared and my memory recall has improved. I hate to be indelicate but I have noticed something strange since taking Eliquis. My urine and bowel movements smell different and I wondered if anyone else had noticed this. I would describe it as sort of a toasted oaty fragrance. I am not making this up or being weird. I am concerned and hope I am not along. ## Oh my goodness YES, it does have an odd smell. ## NIH.gov actually lists the following side effects associated with Eliquis (Apixaban): red, brown, or pink urine; red or black, tarry stools. I am fresh off a 3 year opiate ride and to be quite honest I am the most weak and tired than I have ever been. The anxiety is killing me. All I want is a couple roxy and some morphine 60's. Before today I was up to about 12 roxy 30's and 10 morph 60's. I am quitting cold turkey and also quiting for the first time. I've heard this will absolutely not work and I will be a junkie again within a day. My friend gave me a handful of xanax, Nuvigil, and Naproxin. One thing to be aware of when you are taking generic meds, is that they are permitted by the FDA to contain up to 20% more or less of the actual active ingredients. This means that if one generic has -20% of the active ingredient, another generic has +20%, that's a 40% difference in dosages, plus a different set of binders and fillers that effect the absorption rate/bio-availability! It's no wonder everyone reacts differently to these drugs. I could be wrong in assuming this, but that's probably why they make generics so much cheaper as well... since you never reall...

Which is better at treating constipation? Miralax or Metamucil? Plus Colace along with it? ## For most people who are already constipated, Miralax is usually the best choice. Metamucil is better for preventing constipation once things are moving normally. Colace often doesn’t add much benefit unless your stool is very hard.

This is my 4th month on Mounjaro and my 1st month on the 7.5 mg. My A1C is 5.7, down from 10. It is working great but the side effects from the 7.5 mg are rough. Extreme nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. My doctor wants me to increase to 10 mg but I can barely handle the 7.5 mg. Has anyone else experienced these side effects and do they eventually go away? ## I am just ending the 7.5mg injections as well and the side effects (nausea, vomiting, and extreme diarrhea) have me basically incapacitated! My husband started taking Chantix 3 weeks ago and is doing well with not smoking, however, he is a type 2 diabetic but he has also controlled it with diet and Metformin twice daily. Now since he has been on Chantix, his blood sugar level has been over 600. We went to the doctor yesterday and he told him that it was the Chantix and stop taking it. Hi, all, I just moved to Covington, KY from. Brooklyn, NY. I am taking Nucynta ER 150 mg/3 x a day, lyrica, celexa, Xanax 2 mg/3 x a day and a muscle relaxant. The main issues are the Nucynta and Xanax. I have had doctor after doctor laugh in my face when asking for this prescription. I started Xanax five years ago and Nucynta about a year ago. No one wants to prescribe Nucynta, either. I have tried Vicodin, oxy--everything. But finally found that Nucynta (a drug I paid $1500 for WITH insurance in NY) works for me. Anyone know how to safely get off eliquis and back on just aspirin? ## Hi cynthia, Depending on how long you've been on Eliquis (Apixaban) for, I think it would be wise to talk to your doctor about developing some sort of tapering schedule that reduces any risk of serious withdrawal symptoms. According to ucsd.edu, apparently Eliquis comes with a "black box warning label" regarding its withdrawals in patients with A-Fib (atrial fibrillation); with some articles stating that Eliquis may trigger a stroke if suddenly stopped. So working closely with your doctor to avoid that risk seems to me like it should be first priority.
