I am in palliative care for Multiple sclerosis, Small vessel vasculitis, kidney and heart failure. I also have Cerebral palsy w/spina bifida. I have severe spine degeneration from scoliosis. I can't take NSAIDs anymore. I am allowed only 15mg morphine 3x per day, short acting. I am 65 yrs.old. Doctors tell me I am at risk of respiratory arrest because I also take 1mg of clonazepam 2x daily. I'm in palliative care because I dying, they just can't put a timeline on it. I used to get 100 mg morphine 3x daily w/ norcos for breakthrough pain, for 20 years. I was able to walk, work as a paralegal, garden, ride my horse, go to school. I have had headaches for about 30 years. I have been to many doctors and tried a dozen or so medications while spending well over $10,000 and having good insurance. Three years ago a neurologist proscribed Diclofinic pot 50. It worked like a charm! I was amazed. Now I get a letter saying effective 1/1/19 Humanna is not going to cover it, at all. Not put it another more expensive class but just not cover it at all. Does anyone know why? It’s not an opioid drug. They recommend Diclofinic sot? Never heard of it. Hi, I have had chronic back pain for years and have seen various doctors for the problem. Most have prescribed either tramadol or hydrocodone along with muscles relaxers sometimes. I've also tried a round of steroids (prednisone) as well as non pharmaceutical options like physical therapy, stretching and light exercise when I can tolerate it in an effort to strengthen my core. Most of these treatments have helped to some degree but the pain inevitably returns (and really many of the medications have only slightly dulled the pain but I still have had difficulty getting through the day even when taking them. Ok I have several things this Dr has done to me over the last 3yrs and also back in 2012-2014. I first saw them in December of 2012. I had just had my 4th child in August and I was 40 yrs old. Their dad left while I was pregnant. I stumbled upon him at the Drs office for my baby, because I was in so much pain and could barely hold and feed him because my arms and hands fell asleep at night and were so numb and burned to the bone. Long story short, they recognized something was obviously wrong with me, so she referred me to a Dr that comes to her office once a month to see Medicaid patients. Been having treatment and acupuncture and nothing so far seems to help. There are times pain grabs me and almost puts me to the floor. Trying to ID a white tablet - one side has 1p 112, other is scored. ## The correct imprint actually uses the letter I rather than the number 1. So it is actually a white tablet with IP 112 inscribed on it. This is a combination pain reliever / narcotic containing Acetaminophen 500 / Hydrocodone 7.5 mg (generic for Lortab). (NDC 53746-112). I would like to know why Opana ER is so powerful? It comes in 10, 20, 30, & 40 mgs. I took this medication once and it made OxyContin feel far inferior as an all around mood enhancer and pain reliever.
