I have chronic back pain and nerve damage to my right side due to a car accident, The neuroligist said the damage is equal to being dropped 7 stories on my left side. Now he is prescribing Morphine Sulfate 15mg and I am worried about the addiction versuses pain relief ## I have been on Morphind sulfate for approx. 3 months now twice daily for back, hip and hand pain due to Rheumatoid Arthritis. It has helped my back and hip pain but not the hand. My biggest problem is that this drug is like swallowing cement, it is terribly constipating. I stopped it for several days just to see if I was, indeed, becoming addicted and the awnser is no. My physical therapist and other nurses have told me not to worry as long as I was in pain I would not become addicted. But of course we are all different...

There is some crazy mfgr shortage. Doc wont raise me up to 40s. Been on these things for a few years. Im really starting to get ticked off now. All pharmacys were out last month. And now still out. WTF? ## Hello, Kevin! How are you? I'm sorry that you're having a problem getting your medication. Yes, there is a shortage and it is normal for this time of year, due to mandatory manufacturing limits. Once a manufacturer reaches their allotted limit for the year, they cannot manufacture any new product, until after the new year. Every year, demand inevitably exceeds supply and we end up with shortages for the last few months of the year. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mo...

Hello, I live in Arizona, where state law limits physicians to prescribe opiates for non-chronic pain at no more than a 7-day supply each month. My monthly prescription for hydrocodone is 30 pills, to be taken one Every Six Hours, only as needed. (These 30 pills are legally considered a 7-day supply). Since I don't need them very much, my prescription is refilled just twice a year, totaling 60 pills a year. But that's not the reason for my comment here, which is that I'm wondering why so many people don't seem to know that one day equals 24 hours, and they're asking questions like, for example - "If my prescription is for one pill every six hours, then how many pills is that in one day?" Have these folks lost the ability to do simple math? The average fifth g...

ALERT - ALERT!!! People! OPEN UP YOUR EYES for gods sake. The Hippocrittical Beuraucrats, Narrowminded Law enforcement, and mis-informed public are systematically taking away our right to be prescribed the medications we so desperately need to maintain some sort of normal life. I have had 14 major surgeries (hip replacement, pelvic reconstrution, calcaneous fracture repair etc.); yet my doctor has cut my dosage way back after threats from the Dept. of Health, DEA etc. They now want all our meds changed altogether. This is ridiculous. Yet, if we continue to do nothing it won't be long before all we can have is0 an asprin. This is a real threat. It is not going away. It will only get worse. Please do not be afraid to speak up forbv each and everyone of your rights to be treated for pa...

I have been taking 2 Watson 3202's every night due to tooth pain for about a month. Will I experience withdraw symptoms after I stop taking them? If so, what can I do to prevent that from happening? ## Hello, Hank! How are you? I'm sorry about the dental problem. You might, but there shouldn't be any severe withdrawal symptoms, if you were only taking them at night, since that's still a very low dose. But, the best way to prevent them would be by tapering slowly, if possible. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and withdrawal effects may include nausea, dizziness, diarrhea and rebound pain. Is there anything else I can help with? ## i need to get off the 3202 watsonhow can i do this ## I been tak...

Jeff Sessions said " Take Tylenol and deal with the pain" !. Comments like this coming from a Senator just makes me sick. People have no conception what Chronic Pain feels like and what we go through. Because know one wants to hear it. I am 67 years old and have OA in my neck and back, both knees and ankles. I am allowed 1 pill 7.5 mg, 325 acetaminophen every 4 hours. I am on Vicodin watch. I feel the need to stress my point with Chronic pain warriors. We suffer 24/7, we can't sleep do to pain. We take the blame for drug junkies. I have never met a chronic pain person who abuses their meds. But we are being treated like junkies. We did not ask for these conditions, we were handed a bad card. I would like to say to Jeff Sessions brake a leg, but you can only take a Tylenol on...

Can anyone offer their experiences with taking Norco or its various generics? How long have you taken it? I have just been prescribed this. ## I have taken Norco and the similar drugs like vicodin for many years. It is helpful for treating moderate pain for short periods. If you take opiate based pain meds for long periods of time you can build up a tolerance and you have to take more to get the same results. I have found taking an anti-imflamitory along with these meds helps to manage the pain. ## Hello, Jim! How are you? And thank you, Renee, for posting such helpful information. Some others things to keep in mind about Norco is that since it is an opiate narcotic, it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth a...

Hi. I have a really bad toothache. I took one i10 pill about three hours ago, but the pain is still killing me. Can I take another one? ## No, it would be best to not take more than prescribed, or to take it more often than you've been instructed by your doctor. The FDA warns that taking too much of can increase your risk of experiencing stomach ulceration, bleeding, liver damage, and hypertension. Have you visited your dentist, yet? They will be the best person to consult on what can be done to rectify this issue. ## I have a severe toothache and have been taking ibuprofen 800mg 3 to 4 times a day, for two days so far. Is this harmful? Is prescription ibuprofen considered an antibiotic? ## It’s the recommended dose but if your toothache is really bad I would go to a dentist t...

What is an oval white pill with imprint L522? ## L522 is Ibuprofen 800 mg manufactured by Perrigo Pharmaceuticals. (NDC 10768-7522). It's a prescription strength NSAID pain reliever. (Normally, an over the counter tablet of Ibuprofen is only 200 mg). ## I’ve been prescribed the 800mg one by my Dr. it is just a slow release version, that’s what he told me. Rather than take a few 200mg now and then, the slow release works in your body continually.

if fentanyl is 80x stronger than morphine, how much morphine will I have to take if I'm on 25mg fentanyl. sounds scary ## Hello, Kim! How are you? You're on 25mcgs of Fentanyl? You'd need only about 7.5mgs of Morphine. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Yes, Fentanyl is 80% stronger. ## None. If you are taking Fentanyl you should have no need to take morphine. ## I have been researching most of the day and absolutely cannot find an answer to my question. I have metastatic breast cancer. My oncologist had me on 60mg mscontin, which I take every 12 hours. I was also on 20mg oxycodone every 4 hours for b...

Hi. I have a question about fentanyl. I'm on 25+12mg every 72hr but still in a lot off pain. Now I heard from a friend that oxycodone 80mg is stronger. I'm in the pain clinic and my dr said my insurance (bmc) doesn't cover the oxycodone. Can anyone tell me if I can pay for the meds with cash? ## Hello, Caroux! How are you? No, Fentanyl is the strongest narcotic available, it is even stronger than Oxycodone. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. However, you may need a medication for breakthrough pain, in addition to the patches. Most doctors will prescribe a low dose Oxycodone or something similar. Need a doctor who will treat me for injuries from a car accident that prescribed pain meds. ## I don't need pain management today but have been in a few rear ends several years ago but mid back pain is unbearable please sooner care doctor to write pain meds asap ## Tulsa has several pain clinics. They will want your records from the last doctor who wrote your prescriptions before you are accepted as a patient. It will have to be in a bigger city. The doctors have been quitting writing narcotics due to new CDC Guidelines so you have to go to a Pain Management Clinic. ## Where can I find a doctor to prescribe pain medication in Oklahoma City or Moore, OK? Since laws have changed I am having trouble finding treatment.

Hello. I'm in severe pain. Need doctors from Youngstown Ohio Canton Akron + Cleveland + western Pa. My doctor got arrested now I'm left with no doctor. Anyone know where I could go? Please let me know. Thank you. ## May I ask the name of the Dr you were seeing? I don't think I'm supposed to drop names here but I'd be happy to give you names of those located here. You can very likely do a Google search for pain managers in the area. Why not have your pcp refer you somewhere? You're going to need some kind of referral there's no question of that. They don't make appointments for new patients over the phone without a faxed referral and very likely will request the records come from the referring Dr. Why? They don't trust that the patient hasn't made ...

How can you tell a real 7.5/325 from a fake one? Is there any tests you or your pharmacy could do? Thank you! ## Hello, Arlene! How are you? No, the only way to be sure, if you didn't obtain it from a licensed U.S. pharmacy, would be to pay to have it lab evaluated somewhere. Are there any markings on the tablet in question? That information would enable to check more details on it for you, such as if there are known fakes. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## I've gotten two different ones before that I thought and knew were fake. Including Norco 10/325. I'll write down markings of both. Markings on Norco ...

I found these pills in my son's room. They are off-white in color and are scored with "! THC" in a diamond on one side. I have scoured the net and can't find them anywhere. Any help would be great, thanks. ## I have found the exact same pill and have scoured the net looking for it's identification. I'm baffled but don't want them ending up in my kids' hands. ## After scouring the threads for a possible answer, I discovered one mention of this possibly being a THC mint, also containing CBD for added pain relief. While I usually don't encourage anyone to take something that's unknown, perhaps tasting whether it has a mint flavor would reveal if this is indeed accurate. I'm also not sure of how much THC or CBD it contains, but a lab analysis woul...

Need to ID a white hard tablet with 377 on one side nothing on the other side ## I also have this pill and need to know what it is. The label on bottle is faded. What pharmacy has yellow norco? I need to fill my prescription. ## Need a pharmacy in sacramento. Ca that carries yellow narcos 10/325 to phiil my percciption ## Hello, Tee! How are you? I'm sorry, but there is no listing of pharmacies according to which medication they carry from which manufacturer. Additionally, saying they are yellow isn't enough for someone to know which ones you're seeking. There is currently a shortage, due to mandatory manufacturing limits, so they may not be in stock at any pharmacy, until after the new year. I'm having a hard time finding a doctor that will prescribe oxycodone 30mg in New Jersey. I have already had 2 back surgeries as well as numerous IV's and still with no relief. I have degenerative disc disease, 3 herniated discs and one completely gone. I'm in constant pain and nothing helps. I was seeing a doctor that was prescribing 90-180 oxycodone 30mg for almost a year until one day he up and closed his practice with no notice. I'm 33 years old with 2 young children and not interested in having more surgeries. I just want to live as normal a life as possible. ## Unfortunately, if you're not going to explore ...

Anyone out there used Morphabond ER for chronic back pain and sciatica? My pain management Dr just put me on it (was on Opana ER) and I'm sick these first days.
