Doc just switched me from fentanyl 50 mcg every 3 days to Butrans 15mcg every 7 days and I am now getting no pain relief and am suffering from extremely bad headaches. The reason I asked to be switched in the first place was because the fentanyl was causing very bad night sweats. The butrans is doing the same along with the headaches. Is there a pill I can ask for that will give me the pain relief of the fentanyl without the terrible night sweats. Also the fentanyl was only working for 2 days instead of 3 and I had problems with them falling off. Any help would be appreciated. ## Hello, BRod! How are you? I am on medicaid and want to know if there is a clinic or doctor that will accept medicaid for methadone maintenance. ## I really wish I could help, but I haven't been able to find any that are directly listed in that area, however, I will admit, I am not familiar with Florida, so there could be some places that I am missing. Have you tried asking your doctor or perhaps calling the Medicaid office to see if they have a place they can recommend? HELP! 4 months ago I stopped, [ cold turkey] all my oxycodone and 25 days ago stopped my methadone as well.3 weeks ago I went on Suboxone. I just had my 2nd. urine test and it still shows oxycodone and methadone!!! Light lines but still there? Hello all! I am now on day #11 of no suboxone after 3 years of being on it for Tramadol dependancy after numerous shoulder surgeries from an old football injury. I was able to ween down to 1-1.5 mgs a day before stopping. I was so sick of the Dr's appts, fees, trips to the pharmacy, etc. although I never felt like I was "using" while on subs, I never felt like I was sober either. I've been trying to stop for almost 6 months now but I kept going back to the Dr after only being able to go a few days here and a few days there before giving up due to bad withdrawal. I have a 10 year old injury that required me to take various types of narcotics for pain control. I'm on 80 mlg of methadone and received butrans patches. Will this put me in withdrawal? Do the butrans patches have the opioid blocker? ## MDuser YES YES YES MY GOD PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS It can and WILL CAUSE SEVERE WITHDRAWL. I have been taking methadone tablets,15mg-3 times a day, for back pain. I also have some depression issues as well, The methadone seems to make me in a good mood as well as taking my back pain away. I do have many mood swings lately where I go from very good feeling to very bad very quickly sometimes, This usually happens when the methadone starts wearing off. I think I may need to see a psyhciatrist about this. I do the methadone for pain, but maybe I need something else for my depression, I also have suicidal thoughts sometimes too, I have heard of mood stabilizers, Do these work? Hi, I currently take the following meds; percocet 10/325 (3x day) neurontin 300mg (3x day) mobic 7.5mg (2x day) prevacid 40mg (1x day) klonopin 1mg (as needed, usually 3 per week as much as 1 per day) lisinopril 40mg (1x day) atenolol 50mg (2x day) I also take several vitamin supplements (multivitamin, milk thistle, vitamin B12, vitamin e). My doc drug tested me and said the test showed I had ingested suboxone which I had NOT. I told her that I had no reason to take that b/c it is my understanding it would be counterproductive to the pain medication anyway. Has anyone heard of false positives for this drug? Hello, I have been on Hysingla and Norco now for a few years due to chronic back pain and multiple medical issues. I had been on Linzess for 2 years and it worked at first but not any longer and I also have IBS. My Gastro doctor gave me a script today to start Movantik ( I can't take my Linzess for 2 days before I start these ) I would like to know what other people are experiencing on this drug, constipation has become a big problem for me and I really want these to work. My Taper story- BG: I was severely addicted to pain pills and started taking methadone in a MMT Clinic in August of 2014. Before I knew it i went all the way up to 75mg of liquid daily. I became tired of being chained to the clinic having to do U/A's and counseling weekly. No one in my life knew of my addiction to pills or that I went to MMT clinic in the first place so I had to constantly lie to everyone where I was going to get my dose daily, it became to much. hi, i am taking suboxone i would like to know if i take codeine with it would i feel the opiate? Are you meaning a dose to make you feel high? Or do you have a headache?! 3) what is your usage history? If you have been on Suboxone over a few days then dont take codeine as it will have no effect. Ok so get this, my husband and I started going to the methadone clinic everyday. Well the first day we went we got urine tested and saliva tested! Now i know for a fact we both had pot and opiates. But i also had oxy in my system along with the other 2. We both failed the urine test; my husband for marijuana and opiates, and myself for marijuana, oxy, and opiates. So next we take the saliva test and we were both on high mgs of morphine, percocets, dilladid, and opana. Along with the marijuana. I am prescribed suboxone for an opiate addiction maintenance program. First, will it show up in a ten panel test? Second, can an employer discriminate if they have already offered me the job? Third, is this violating any privacy laws? ## Yes, Suboxone contains the narcotic Buprenorphine, so it will show up on a test. No, they cannot discriminate, that is illegal. And no, it does not violate any privacy laws. You do not have to discuss with them why you are on it. You just need to inform them that you are on it, when you go in to have the test. They have the right to verify that it is being used under a doctor's orders and it will, more than likely, negate that part of the drug screen test. I am currently prescribed Belbuca 150 mcg/every 6 hrs. with Tramadol 50 mg. for break-through pain due to Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome/Chiari Malformation/Degenerative Disc Disease. My PCP does random urine screens (unannounced) periodically. Last February I had to stop the Butrans Patch due to severe skin blistering/chemical type burns caused by the patch medium, hence the change to Belbuca. I am also prescribed Movantik for OIC and take it as prescribed every morning. I called my methadone clinic and told them today was probably my last day, that i lost job and couldn't afford to pay. They charge $10 a day or pay weekly. Well all they said was, "oh im sorry u can't get no one to help u. Call me in the morning to see if you've figured anything out", not even suggesting a patient assistance program to help me with financial aid until I'm back on feet. I was shocked all they want is money. I've on this program 2 yrs doing great, and just like that my money at a stand still.... and clinic wont dose without payment. Yes 3 days of suboxone should be enough to get you thru the first 3 days of no opiates but you don't need much of the suboxone at all. Get 1 2.mg strip. Take a quarter of that strip the first day - so thats .5 mg take .25 day 2 and .25 day 3 and then your done. Thats all the suboxone you need to get off 30 mg of perks. Also start taking B50 and L Tyrosine and Gaba 750 and and maybe some testosterone for energy and thats it. If you want to be off the perks and don't want to be addicted to suboxone use minimal amounts for 3 days and thats it. 1 mg total over 3 days is enough. Doctors put patients on way too much and get them addicted. 3 days on suboxone and get off and you will feel funny for the next 3 or 4 days but nothing like real withdrawel symptoms.
