Hi all, just finishing my first month on subs. Doing good except for two problems one of which is constapation. The other is more difficult to explain. I'm eating much better which adds more to the constapation problem. What works best for that? Some thirty years ago some of my vocal cords were paralyzed and being as the subs dissolve right there above them. It seems alot of the mefs stick to them n I have to taste that for hours afterwords. Does anyone else have a similar problem. I want to keep talking them, I been fighting this problem for many years. Any n all help is appreciated. I am prescribed 16 mg suboxone and was only taking 12 mg and I got my levels checked. There are cheaper, less reliable tests that can't necessarily distinguish between the drug name and drug class, let alone dosages. On the hand there is also specific testing, such as that done by a gas chromatograph mass spectrometer, which has the ability to distinguish the exact substance in question and is very accurate in that regard. Because the DEA is Treating pharmacies like drug Dealers and blocking their supply chain, I cannot find any Pharmacy in Jacksonville FL. That has it in stock. My Doctor has Be practicing medicine for over 30 years & I've been under his care for 8 years. I am on a suboxone treatment program and currently interviewing for several new jobs. I will have to take a pre-employment drug test and I am wondering if I will fail for an opiate due to the suboxone. I do not want to tell my future employer that I am in treatment for a past drug dependency and I am worried that the suboxone will make that impossible. ## You are correct, the Suboxone will show up as an opiate. You will have to inform them that you are on it, under a doctor's care or risk losing your job due to a failed drug test. I was on methadone for six years, it has been 19 days sent I have stopped taking my 95 mg a day. I have never felt so sick. I can not walk without it feeling so bad. I hope to be better someday. What hsppens if u just swallow a subutex? Just wondering. ## Subutex is best absorbed sublingualy thru the membrane under the tongue. Swollowing will give you about an 8th of the full affect. So you get about a mg out of 8 if you swallow from my experience. ## this is not true cause ive done it many times after taking them under tounge for 2 Years I kno its much easier when I swallow them I was on stripts and the pill form and then they put me on subutext due to my medical condition and I sometimes can't stomach to put this under my tounge I get sick very easy from this but it don't hurt me feel the same ## How long do you need to take subtux and how often.

I was taking the orange pill 8mg by a different manufacturer the number on it was like 412 or something like that I can't remember...and I had to switch to Actavis today white pill 8/2mg and it's making me feel sick?? It's the suboxone with naloxone in it same as orange one just white and different manufacturer??? and I don't understand why it's making me sick feeling... is it stronger? What?? Hi there I have been on methadone for just iver 1 year my max dose was 95mg. Due to weight gain I wanted to switch to suboxone. I decided to do it fast rather than slow i went down 10mg a week until yesterday i was down 45. So the dr gave me 35 yesterday. 35 for today and tomorrow. Then sun mon tues wed i will have nothing. I've been at my methadone clinic for two-and-a-half years in New York and I've heard that out west they have different colors such as orange, green, even blue, but where I'm at it's red with water. The next dose tends to get lighter in red. ## In a Treatment Center, where a yellow liquid called methodose is given. Is that methodose or methodone. Can liquid methodone be yeklow? ## Bee, After doing some research I found that methadone comes in a variety of colors, including orange, green, blue, red, white, brown. The difference between these is the formula of inactive ingredients that they use. I hope this helps.

Hello. I'm on house arrest and got drug tested via urine for subutex on 8/12/13. My last dose was on 8/4/13. I am wondering if this would still be in my urine 9 days later? Help please!!! ## Complete elimination of of a single dose of Buprenorphine can take as long as 6 days, the window of detection for the parent drug in urine is thought to be approximately 3 days. So it should be out of your system. ## How long will subutex stay in my system? I took 11 subutex in 5 days. How long until I will be clean for a swab drug test. I just started going to the methadone clinic about 4 weeks ago. I used to be a very heavy drug user, Heroin and pills were my life. When I took my initial drug test at the clinic I asked them if my marijuana levels were really high, and they told me they don't test for marijuana. I live in Texas. Does anyone know what kind of drug test they are using and exactly what they test for? I thought on all standard drug tests, they test for THC. Also I mistakenly took a 1mg football mistaking it for an aleve. In highschool i used to put them in aleve bottles. My mom just moved and the bottle was up in the medicine cabinet in the new house. I have been taking Methadone for two years, but i want to get off of this medication and start taking Suboxone. Can I take Suboxone a day after I took my methadone? If not, can I take pain killers to help with the methadone withdraws until I start taking the suboxone? ## No, in order to start Suboxone, whether for drug addiction, or for pain, you have to be in full active withdrawal from all other narcotics. Suboxone contains the active ingredients Buprenorphine and Naloxone. The Naloxone helps neutralize other opiates to prevent their abuse, when someone is using it for addiction treatment. Was dispensed these plain white pills that were supposed to be subutex and I can't find anything about them. I know that regardless of the pill and prescription, they should have a mark of some kind on it by law and these do not. I'm furious because people do this kinda stuff and they could kill you cause you don't know what your taking. And of course said person keeps saying "no they are subutex". I think they're victims or something but if anyone out there can honestly say they have had subutex with no markings at all please let me know. ## It seems like I've had markless subutex before. My family bought me a 50$ 10 panel test and I took half a sub, the day before, the only thing that came up positive was oxycodone! But the thing is I haven't taken any Oxys or any other pain med in a week prior.. Why did it come up positive? Also they want to retest in 2-3 days. What are my chances it will be negative? Again I didn't take any other kinds of pills just half of sub. Doc just switched me from fentanyl 50 mcg every 3 days to Butrans 15mcg every 7 days and I am now getting no pain relief and am suffering from extremely bad headaches. The reason I asked to be switched in the first place was because the fentanyl was causing very bad night sweats. The butrans is doing the same along with the headaches. Is there a pill I can ask for that will give me the pain relief of the fentanyl without the terrible night sweats.
