ribo on whjte oval shaped pill ## This is a supplement containing Riboflavin, used to make sure you have enough of this vital nutrient. Are there any questions or comments? ## I think the pill being described is Tizanidine 4mg which is used as a muscle relaxant. The corrected imprint code has an 8 instead of a B - RI80 instead of RIBO. Hope this helps! ## You are correct, looks just like the word RIBO, ty for the tip!

I am on a pain contract with my Dr and I need to know if taking a couple of these muscle relaxers is going screw me when I give a UA? ## This is not a medication that is usually included on standard tests, under FDA directives, since it is not a controlled substance. Has it been prescribed for you? If so, then there is nothing to worry about, though they may ask for proof of that. Is there anything else I can help with?

Was cyclobenzaprine included in the study by the military regarding the efficacy of medications after their expiration date? ## I found reference to the military study you mentioned, on Harvard University's webpage [cited below] and do not see any mention of Cyclobenzaprine there. Source: "Drug Expiration Dates — Do They Mean Anything?", health.harvard.edu. Web. September, 2nd 2015 Cyclobenzaprine doesn't appear to be listed among others on the following LA Times article either, where they depict various medications retaining their efficacy 28 to 40 years past their official expiration dates. Source: "Many drugs are just fine years after they 'expire,' study finds", latimes.com. Web. October, 8th 2012 But they do list several pain relievers along wi...

I have been on soma's and norco for over 10 years my dr claims he can no longer prescribe the soma because of new Indiana law he cut me off cold turkey it has almost killed me my blood pressure is stroke level now never had high blood pressure before is it true about Indiana rules my pharmacist claims it's not he says it's more paperwork for dr's office what is the truth? ## Perhaps you will need Blood Pressure medicine? We are hearing a lot from all these "new rules", yet a simple search shows little in most States. I think the DEA has outlined some general outlines on how and what a Doctor can prescribe. ## Go to an ER if your BP is 180/120. You are in hypertensive crisis. Then call a lawyer and sue his stupid a$$ for medical malpractice. ## Eddy is correct. Th...

can robaxin give a false positive for opiates on a drug test ## Robaxin contains the active ingredient Methocarbamol, which is a muscle relaxant and no, it hasn't been known to cause false positives for anything on drug tests. Where you taking anything else, even over the counter products? ## does it have the same effetcts on a soma? ## I MEAN AS A SOMA? IS IT THE SAME EFFECT? ## I wouldn't be too sure that it wouldn't cause some sort of false positive on a standard drug test. I am prescribed methocarbamol which is the generic version of the drug and it clearly says on my bottle to notify your doctor you are taking this drug prior to submitting to a drug test as it has been known to cause false positives. I'm unsure what exactly it comes up as and wanted to know before m...

The pill is pale yellow, round & scored on one side. The other side has APO with T1-2 below the APO. ## Hello fellow V! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Apotex Corp and they list it as containing 2mgs of Tizanidine, which is a muscle relaxant. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?

Is a prescription required to use this tablet? I have lower back pain and was taking this tablet for the last 3 consecutive days. My level of pain has been reduced a lot. Are there any side effects associated with consuming this medication daily (without being under a doctor's supervision)? ## I'm sorry, I don't know if a prescription is required where you live. Most countries do require one, but not all. As to the side effects, there is always a risk of those, with any medication, whether you are, or aren't under a doctor's care. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and dry mouth. Are you on any other medications?

I recently had cervical spine surgery (fusion of 3 levels). Before the surgery I was prescribed 500mg methocarbamol three times daily. After the surgery I am now prescribed 10mg cyclobenzaprine. Can you tell me the difference between these two medications? ## They are both muscle relaxants, but the base chemicals are different, so one, or the other may work for each different person that tries it, since we are all different. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and dry mouth. How is the new one working for you?

It's hard to swallow liquids as it seems my esophagus is swollen. What could be causing it? Any of my medications? ## Does it just seem like it's swollen, or has it been confirmed by a medical professional? Many medications can cause it, according to FDA reports, but it is hard to say just from this vague post. Have you ever been diagnosed with acid reflux? That is also a possible cause. If it comes down to a medication, I think Methocarbamol would be the primary suspect, since it is a muscle relaxant and muscles help us swallow... however, there is also the possibility of an allergy.

Is Flexeril safe to take after age 60? I have muscle pain. I get all tied in knots and can't even stand up straight. My doctor gave me Baclofen and it did nothing to help me, but Flexeril has always worked. ## The older you are, the more sensitive you might be to the side effects of any given medication. When it comes to muscle relaxants, the NIH warns that they may include nausea, dizziness, headache, and dry mouth. However, only you and your doctor can decide which is best for you. Have you told them that the Baclofen isn't working for you? Are you on any other medications?

Im a disabled person that lives in chronic pain every day. And have sever anxiety & panic attacks , so my doctor told me the DEA has Some more New Rules. Because the DEA knows more about how to treat sick people than a doctor. The new rule in Florida is if you are taking Valium or Xanax you can no longer get SOMA. The DEA has made life hell in Florida DEA is treating pharmacies like Drugs Dealers. Stopping the orders from even making it to the pharmacies. I'm talking about big pharmacies CVS Wallgreens and more. It's so bad you can't even get your Legal prescriptions filled. Because the DEA has mad it impossible for the pharmacies to get the medication, and so scared to fill the prescription. And I'm talking about people in wheelchairs with a legal prescription. This...

I am on 2 different meds (soma and Percocet) plus Xanax for extreme panic attacks. The soma is because I have at least two disintegrating discs and bad arthritis in my lower back. the Percocet (which I never even asked for, they just gave it to me) because I have bad arthritis in my knees, my hips my hands and my neck. I asked if there were any over the counter meds to help but because my kidneys are in bad shape I couldn't take anything like advil, ibuprofen or steroids. Also my nephrologisy has said that I need to keep my blood pressure down and when i'm in pain or having a panic attack (which happens several times a day) my BP goes up. now I have to practically beg for these meds and am treated like a drug addict UA's and all which is a pain because my husband has to take...

I am taking Skelaxin. The bottle says take one pill 3 times a day as needed. Is that 6 hours or 8 hours in between each dose? I took soma tablets over the last couple of days due to car accident. My husband had some as they help with pain. I have a UA in about 2 weeks. How long does it take to get out of your system considering that I took high doses over last week? ## Make sure to ask them to check your liver for toxicity. Of course that is where some of the Miltown will be stored as well. Taking high doses over 2 days is more than the recommended maximum dosage I assume? ## I have never failed lab work in 5 yrs... Have ALWAYS made sure that I didn't take anything for 4 full days.
