I was speaking with AI last night about why Walmart isn't using my insurance, and still providing large 90 day fills for what they charge for a 30 day fill. Then we spoke about Soma, my Doctor still asks me are they still selling it? Saying goodbye to Soma after 40 years

I used to buy Soma from a Pharmacy in Florida. I found one that sold the best brand for $50 plus shipping. Today 25 years later I just lost my Doctor again, had one refill. Insurance (Blue Cross/MDHP) no longer pays without Doctor approval. Even if they did pay, what was $3.99 for a 270 pill supply is $41.50. So much for the lowering of prescription costs under Trump but instead he is pocketing our money. ## Great news for everybody. What is a pill with RI8O on one side and a cross on the other side? ## I believe you are likely describing a white tablet marked R180 with a cross on the back side. Problem: hearing is week can not hear properly when people speak at low voice or if they are a bit away. On checking it is found that the ears are not working at low dbs Dr. advised me to take ME-12 od every alternate day. 50 nos given by doctor What are the side effects. I am losing sleep, feeling tired and my stomech is upset. Is it due to the side effects of the medicine ? ## Not familiar with this medicine. I would look into hearing aids or further diagnostic tests

Methocarbam vs Methocarbamol

Is Methocarbam and Methocarbamol the same thing 500mg? Or are they different? ## Likely the same thing considering the 500 mg dose. "Methocarbam" seems like it would be an abbreviation on the prescription bottle. Can you share what the tablets look like (markings, color, shape) or the NDC # on the bottle? ## The names are the same. ## Methocarbam is a long white tablet with an H on one side and 115 on the other. Methocarbamol is orangish with a G on one side and 750 on the other side ## Those are both 750 mg doses of Methocarbamol ("Methocarbam" for short). The white H 115 tablet has an NDC code of 31722-534. The orange G 750 tablet has an NDC code of 62207-770.

Small yellow tablet with heart on it

I have a small yellow tablet with raised heart on one side. It is approx. 1/4 in diameter. Any help would be appreciated. ## Supposed to be a muscle relax. Small white roundscored with 502 on one side ## This tablet contains 2mgs of Tizanidine, a generic for Zanaflex. This is, indeed, a muscle relaxant. Carisoprodol/Soma - need a doctor to prescribe it!

I've been taking soma / carisoprodol off and on for 22 years. When I first took it, I was told to take two 350 mg at bedtime, and it was too much and I nicknamed it Coma! Later I learned that when I first start taking soma after not taking it for a long time to only take 1/4 tab, or even a bit less. Later I can take more as needed, but starting out 1/4 or even 1/8th helps when I haven't take it for a very long time. Now I can't find a doctor who will prescribe it, I read as much as I could find and asked as many, doctors, pharmacists why, and they said various things, but it seemed to come down to the medicine has fallen out of favor because of abuse, "A considerable proportion of carisoprodol is metabolized to meprobamate" (from Wikipedia and that there is abuse. is baclofen the same thing as a soma

my mom has been taking somas and her doctor changed her meds and she is skeptical of new medicene. ## no baclofen is not exactly the same as soma. they are both muscle relaxers but baclofen is a little stronger. i had been on soma and flexeril for over two years and now they have switched me to baclofen. it does work alot better for muscle spasms ## Am wanting to know at what rate baclofen treatment can be tapered off and the risk affects if stopped abruptly ## baclofen work alot better than soma it really releives the pain quicker than soma. ## IMy doctor just gave me Baclodol 5mg/300mg carisoprodol (soma).
