My Rite Aid closed so I had my medicine filled at CVS in Arizona. Found out they haven't sold Soma in a few years. Safeway told me a year. Yet Kroger & Walmart sell it. I've just lost 6 months worth. I'm sure my Doctor will help me when I return in a few weeks. I miss Rite Aid already, they were very nice, and sold Soma! ## Hey Eddy! Sorry to hear that! I get mine from CVS here in Texas? ## Thank you Sandra, I called and asked CVS how I could transfer my prescription to WalMart. The answer was you can't ## A big thank you to Walmart, a store that I have hardly used. They had to order my amount, 270 for a 3 month supply, I can't believe the price, $2.27. I was paying over $20 at Rite Aid, the retail price is $137 without any discounts. I knew Rite Aid was overchar...

i was on soma approx 10yrs then 1 1/2yrs ago my dr said she couldnt write prescriptions for them anymore i have taken 5 different relaxers and nothing works like soma. why cant i get them now? ## Well a couple years back Soma was re classified as a schedule 4 medicine and many Doctors don't like to write for it. Funny thing, I have had 3 doctors since the new law prescribe me Soma, go figure! ## Soma is the most commonly abused muscle relaxant, because it is so potent. And Eddy is correct, it was changed to a schedule IV controlled substance several years ago. As such, to have them prescribed on any long-term, ongoing basis, you'd need to be seeing a specialist, such as a pain management physician. ## Can soma be prescribed with oxycodone? ## Very doubtful with the new regulatio...

The Dan Soma seems to give me more relief... Is the Dan Soma a better quality? ## No complaints. Easy to find ## There can be slight fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredient from one generic to another, so that one may have a little bit more in it, so it works better for you. Learn more Soma details here. It may also cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and headache. Is there anything else I can help with? ## U sure are all around every post huh EDDY lol. Which is the better generic of soma 350 eddy ( carisoprodol) ? Qualitest Sun Activas(dan-former watson)(mayne pharma) Aurobindo Which would you say is the best soma generic guys?? ## And to answer your question I get the dan (watson-activas/mayne pharma) ones. White round pill about the same size of a Soma with small brown specks. No imprints or score lines. Found in a little baggy. See picture: ## With no markings, it is impossible to postiviely identify these, unless you would have them lab tested. We can be sure, though, that they aren't a US prescription medication, as they all MUST have unique imprints to enable identification. There are several items on the market that could match this, such as Senosside laxatives or even some Extasy tablets. I am sorry, I wish I could be of more help. Does anyone else have any ideas? ## small white round pill, no markings completely flat on both sides approx 1/8in diameter 1/16in thick ## Almost definitely a recreational pill - although whether it contains ecstacy is actually questionable since th...

My doctor has told me that that soma is a narcotic and she does not want to prescribe it to me any more. I suffer from chronic back pain as well as muscle spasms. I have tried other muscle relaxers as well as anti inflamatories and none of then do not work. Soma is the only one I have found to work for me without making me sleepy. Any information you can give me i would really appreciate. Thank you, Dana ## No, it is not a narcotic, nor is it related to opioid pain relievers. Soma contains the active ingredient Carisoprodol. It has, however, been known to be habit forming and to be abused, by some people. ## Soma - Do they come up on a U/A? Since you say it's not a narcotic what do they come up as? ## I have ankylosing spondylitis. Other than the Enbrel and other such meds, what is ...

I am writing this thread forum to discuss the shortage on soma and carisoprodol. Recently even the best pharmacies in my area are completely out of soma. Had to wait a week just to get my second best preferred soma 350mg generic. I had to settle for Jubliant Cadista Pharma generics which are the imprinted OP 35 white tablets. I have been on the Watson formulation for over 5 years which are imprinted DAN 5513. Luckily when Activas Elizabeth / Mayne Pharma acquired Watson Pharma then of which now Teva Pharma has acquired Activas medications. Activas was smart as they kept the Watson formulation of soma and dispensed the watson generic formulation. Last month I was able to find the watson DAN 5513 tablets and was informed they would have them in stock in future no problem. This was not the...

Is it possible to get the Teva brand Soma dispensed when I fill my prescription? Are they the ones marked 2410V, or the Dan 5513 Soma? ## As of 7/21/21 the Teva availability was not good. There is a Soma shortage worldwide: Reason for the Shortage: - Teva has carisoprodol on shortage due to manufacturing delay - Cadista discontinued carisoprodol tablets - Endo Pharmaceuticals discontinued carisoprodol tablets - Rising discontinued carisoprodol tablets - Mylan has Soma tablets available - Sciegen has carisoprodol tablets available ## Oxford soma IMO is better than all the other. Just got mine filled and very satisfied ## Wow I have been getting these Oxford 'Pharmace' 0 111 Vanadom Soma for the last 9 months or so. I had never heard of Vanadom before and these are awful, smaller ...

So yesterday I FINALLY RECEIVED my prescription of Pain-O-Soma in the blister packs that are from (Supposedly) HAB Pharmaceuticals & they ARE / WERE AWFUL!!!! I took 3 & #1) they DID NOT FEEL LIKE ANY BRAND OF SOMA THAT'S MADE HERE IN THE GOOD OLD UNTIED STATES OF AMERICA & #2) I think that they may have even given me MORE // WORSE MUSCLE SPASMS!!!! I can't believe that I f***in wasted close to $200.00 on these things & then had to wait for over 3 weeks to receive them... They came from India... So now I've got over 120 of these damn things, they're in the blister packs & they're a plain white pill with no numbers or anything on them except for a strait line on one side of the pill... I read about these in these forums & because there were mor...

I have to get drug tested at my methadone clinic, and I was wondering if soma will show up on my urinalysis? I've heard that after metabolizing it can appear as a benzo which would not be good for me as I haven't taken any in over a year. Does anyone have purely factual or proven information to help shed some light on the subject? ## Soma contains the active ingredient Carisoprodol, which is a muscle relaxant and, as itself, is not something that is included on standard drug tests. However, it has been know to cause false positives, but not for Benzodiazepines, the false positive it is known to cause is for Morphine. Whether or not it shows up as a false positive depends o what type of test they use. Not all of them show false positives, because some are more precise, but the ch...

I recently had my monthly prescription for Soma filled at my local Walmart pharmacy and for the past several months had been receiving the Watson brand from them, which work really well for my muscle pain and spasms, but last week when I picked up my prescription they were a different brand manufactured by Rising Pharmaceuticals. I normally take 2 in the morning and spread out the other 2, one for the afternoon and then one before bed, but this new brand sucks and hasn't given me ANY relief of my muscle pain and spasms! I've never had a generic brand just not work at all for me, but this brand is just terrible! Even taking 3 at a time still doesn't do anything to help!!! I've notified my doctor, filed a report with the FDA, and also sent Rising Pharmaceuticals a complain...

So much for the informed posters here who claim a pharmacy will order whatever generic brand you want: -------------------------------- Dear Soma taker, The prescription you recently requested to be filled that begins with 'CA' is currently out of stock. We have placed an urgent order and will notify you when it is ready. We apologize for the inconvenience. Should you have any questions, please call. Thank you for making us your pharmacy. Sincerely, Rite Aid Pharmacy ## First of all, I had to leave Rite Aid because they won’t order specific brand or even avoid ordering specific brands But I don’t think the Rite Aid near me actually carries medication anymore, I’m not being hyperbolic when I say every single prescription that I have sent to them they have to ord...

I am taking suboxone for chronic pain but having severe muscle spasms. I am thinking about asking my pain doc for Soma. I have tried Flexeril and Zanaflex and got no relief. ## No, you should not take these medications together, Major drug interaction. It may result in central nervous system depression which can lead to serious side effects such as respiratory distress, coma, and even death. [1] ## Yes. Soma is a medication that is taken short term, 2 to 3 weeks. If prescribed, take only as directed, increasing the dosage can cause complications, up to and including, death. Soma actually becomes Meprobamate in our bodies, which is a barbiturate. If you and your doctor feel you will take Soma as prescribed, it shouldn't be a problem for treating severe muscle strains over a short per...

Looking for a doctor who Prescribes soma in DFW area, preferably Garland or Plano or Richardson. I’ve been on soma for eight years through my PCP but unfortunately the practice he belongs to has closed down. I went to pain management doctor today and the charges are $500 a visit and does not prescribe some. I can’t take any other muscle relaxers. ## I really feel Texas is limiting the rights of their citizens, and Abbott doesn't care. Trying to set the law of the land with that Abortion Pill, and now wont even let doctors prescribe Soma. I have been in pain management for years, lost my doctor along with other patients, and primary won't fill or says she can't and messes up my progress to get in new pain management in time. Now I'm losing Soma, was 3 times a day, now I have 7 tabs left. Was on 45 mg of morphine 3 times, oxycodone 15s and xanax 5 mg 3 times a day. Which she said she can not write for. Why, if she knew or thought this pain clinic was prescribing more than standard, did she never say a word until i had to go to her in desperation for this? Your primary that has to refer you and get info to get into a new pain clinic, I have very serious health issues no one is dealing with, I feel alone and suicidal. I've tried every other muscle relaxer Tizanidine / (trade names Zanaflex, Sirdalud) Methocarbamol / trade name Robaxin/ Baclofen (brand names Kemstro, Lioresal, Liofen, Gablofen, Beklo and Baclosan) Cyclobenzaprine, brand names Amrix, Flexeril and Fexmid all of these have adverse side effects for me and virtually no muscle relaxer efficacy= they don't work well or really not at all side effects, headaches, dizziness, lots more soma / Carisoprodol however worked very well, and I had to take small amounts so that side effects were able to be kept at a minimum when soma / Carisoprodol began from what I've heard to gain a little popularity with druggies. doctors quit prescribing it, and authorities, the powers that be, began to council doctors against prescribing it I was not ab...

Received white round unscored pills from Mexico w logo on one side & blank on the other side. ## Collins farma...could be mexican Soma. Or another product from this company. ## A drug manufacturer called Collins Farmacéuticos (Pharmaceuticals) out of Mexico is reportedly known for producing unscored white tablets with a bird logo. Unfortunately, they do not list any specific details on their product page that point to a particular medication. However, you can visit their website (at collins.mx) to contact them directly regarding the tablet as a last resort. I hope this helps! ## What is a white oval pill, scored on one side, strange symbol on the other? Found in Mexico. ## The Day After Pill ## Soma. Usually 350 mg. it is legit.

I only want to know the difference between Pain-O-Soma and Prosoma. ## If you ONLY want to know the difference between these two drugs, you would need to speak to another Felon that has ordered controlled medicine from overseas. Or you could read archived posts here about both drugs and educate yourself? ## I am not a felon. I only wanted information but since you seem to know the law and have apparently tried illegal transactions, I will advice you that I found out what I wanted to know, the legal way. I don't trust felons and I feel you are one of knowledge. I went thru legal channels to find my answers. I have been taken off soma by my pain doc in Sarasota. Does anyone know a pain doc in Sarasota, Bradenton, St Petersburg or Tampa Florida who still writes them? Skelaxin makes me have nausea & vomiting, on flexeril I fell asleep driving and nearly crashed, baclofen did the same with sleepiness. Please help, I'm so uncomfortable. I was on soma for 17 years. My primary will write them, but won't write my pain meds so I'm stuck. ## Have you asked your primary care doctor about still prescribing them for you, while you receive pain medications elsewhere? Unless you have a pain management contract that forbids it, or are trying to double up on controlled substances, you can receive medications from more than one doctor, at a time. The FDA warns that Soma is commonly abused, a...
