Robaxin contains the active ingredient Methocarbamol, which is a muscle relaxant and no, it hasn't been known to cause false positives for anything on drug tests.

I wouldn't be too sure that it wouldn't cause some sort of false positive on a standard drug test. I am prescribed methocarbamol which is the generic version of the drug and it clearly says on my bottle to notify your doctor you are taking this drug prior to submitting to a drug test as it has been known to cause false positives. I'm unsure what exactly it comes up as and wanted to know before my upcoming drug screening. If I find out any useful info, ill be sure to follow up with a link.

On Monday I sat with my "treatment team" at an inpatient duel diagnosis detox/psych ward and he said the urine I submitted at the hospital that I needed to give to get in this program was positive for opiates. I am proud to say I haven't shot dope or used any other opiate for 18months. So I'm trying to think what could I have done or eaten to obtain a positive for opiates on a urine test I took on Saturday September 10th.
So finally it dawns on me I was given a few muscle relaxers from a family member because i forgot my baclofen at home, 3.5 hour drive from where my families house is, and only because a few months ago I stopped taking my baclofen because I wasn't in pain and while I was sleeping I was having seizures my wife was crying begging for me to go to the hospital because I didn't believe I was really having them while I was sleeping. I couldn't remember the name of what I was given so i got home yesterday and asked and she said methocardamol. That was the only thing I took that was different than usual, everything else was right my adderol was positive like it should be, benzos positive cuz I was given them 2days earlier by a Dr in the emergency room and methadone because I'm on the methadone clinic so I really think the methocardamol made me piss positive for opiates.

At my suboxone clinic I've had 4 drug tests come up false positive for opiates..and I take robaxin so could that be the reason why the drug tests are coming up positive for opiates? I can't think of any other reason why tty his would be happening
