Pain Medication Reno Nv

I am on 2 different meds (soma and Percocet) plus Xanax for extreme panic attacks. The soma is because I have at least two disintegrating discs and bad arthritis in my lower back. the Percocet (which I never even asked for, they just gave it to me) because I have bad arthritis in my knees, my hips my hands and my neck. I asked if there were any over the counter meds to help but because my kidneys are in bad shape I couldn't take anything like advil, ibuprofen or steroids. Also my nephrologisy has said that I need to keep my blood pressure down and when i'm in pain or having a panic attack (which happens several times a day) my BP goes up. now I have to practically beg for these meds and am treated like a drug addict UA's and all which is a pain because my husband has to take off from work to take me there as I cannot drive. what really gets me is I have lived with severe pain for as long as I can recall! I had super bad cramps and my gyno offered pain meds which I turned down as I didn't want to take something I might get addicted to. when I was I my early 20's I had a bad outbreak of shingles which is also one of the most painful diseases ever and again I declined the pain meds. I have had back problems since my 20's as well (I am tall and I am told tall people often have extremely bad backs) never took anythinh other than ibuprofen but as soon as my kidneys went south (was misdiagnosed with the flu when I actually had sepsis which I almost DIED from and had to spend a month in the ICU). so it's not like I am some kind of recreational pill popper and if I could i'd tought it out but with only 20% kidney function that is not an option.my dr spend several months a year out of the country and her assistant is an a**hole. I went there for gout (another source of great pain oh and I also have divericulitis which is another extremely painful disease) and instead of discussing the gout and what could be done he spent the entire visit talking about my kidneys; how bad they were, how my nephrologist isn't treating me correctly and was in general was a gigantic asshat!!! so I need to find a new dr who doesn't take off months at a time leaving me with this rude jerk who is no help at all! I even brought my hubby with me cos i'd seen this guy before and he was a jerk and I wanted to see how my husband thought he acted. my husband likes everyone but when we were done he said "that guy is a total d*****... I do NOT want you seeing him again". so I am now looking for a good dr in Reno who will listen to all I have going on and treat me with the meds I need. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks!
