At present it's marketed by BEXIMMCO in Bangladesh under the trade name "ONRIVA 150", instead of onriva 75. I am taking onriva 75 daily one capsule (as an inhaler), but now they are only marketing ONRIVA 150. My Doctor is now out of country to attend some medical seminar, etc. So I am unable to seek a doctor's advice. I'm also interested in knowing if TIOTROPIUM 18mcg is a substitute for Indaceterol maleate or not? Oh, and I am also taking another medicine known as Roflumilast 500 mcg for controling COPD. How long i will take Roflumilast 500 mcg for full control of COPD? I am 72 years old. Your early reply will be appreciated! Thanks and regar...
Updated in Indacaterol MaleateP11 àñd pms on the other side it's a round brown pill my mom has copd and my brother ate 5 of them ## Hello, Huffy! How is your brother? Did he experience any adverse effects? Being that I am in the U.S., I have not been able to find an identification for this medication. However, I can tell you that the NIH cautions against the dangers of overdose, so it would be best, in such cases, to seek professional medical assistance, by contacting poison control, your doctor, or your nearest emergency services department.
I started taking Daliresp 1-14-16 my breathing is much better but i've had 3 different spells of my lower back hurting so bad that on a scale of 1 to10 it would be 10 my back never hurt me before so i think im going to have to quit taking it because i can't stand my back hurting like this. ## Hello, Georgene! How are you? I'm sorry about the pain you've experienced. That can be a side effect of this medication, as reported by the FDA, you may also experience nausea, dizziness, dry throat and sneezing. However, most side effects are transient and go away after a month or so, once your body gets used to the medication. If this hasn't improved, it would be best to consult your doctor as it may not be the right medication for you. Is there anything else I can help with? ...
I have read so many good things about Daliresp. My doctor gave me a two week supply to see if I could tolerate the side effects if I had them. I have had some stomach issues and sleeplessness for the 10 days i have taken them. I am determined to make this work! I should have waited to try this new drug. I am booked for a cruise in 10 days. Should I quit taking this and try again when I get back or would I have more issues by stopping now? Or is the worst over? I was also put on Oxygen Therapy two months ago. ## Hello, Kathy! How are you? What did you end up doing? If you've not had any serious problems, after using it for a month, things should likely be fine, but only your doctor can advise you on what you should do. The FDA lists its other typical side effects as possibly includin...

My husband is now on his 4th week of Daliresp. The side effects are still horrible but from what I have read here, they do finally go away and the breathing is much better with no flare ups. It seems like he has had almost every side effect there is from this. His breathing is getting a little better now. ## Yes, side effects normally reach their peak of intensity and then start to taper off at around 4 to 6 weeks, that's usually the time that a medication reaches its full level of effectiveness in someone's body. Learn more Daliresp details here. However, if they don't start to taper off, or if they get worse, then he should contact his doctor immediately. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thank you for the information. ## I decided to try it for 6 weeks to see if ...
I have been on Dailresp for just over 2 weeks, and my breathing is much better. In the last few days I have noticed feeling like I have the flu, sore joints, no appetite and a rapid heartbeat. I love this medication. Is it possible the side effects mentioned will go away in time? If so, about how long does it usually take? ## Hello, Deb! How are you? Has there been any change? Those can be normal side effects of this medication, as listed by the FDA. You may also experience headache, diarrhea and nausea. Side effects are usually transient and go away with time, as your body gets used to the medication. However, it really depends on how high your heart rate is going, you may want to have that checked out, to be sure. ## Hi. I had to come off the medicine. My heart rate was so high I need...
My Dad had COPD and died from having emphysema. I was shocked to find out that the Army supplied free cigarettes to these young recruits in the 1950's . Have there been any legal implications in this regard ? ## I have since found out that because my Dad was 17 when he joined up that he was a minor , which means the military were responsible for his welfare and therefore this may be classed as Service Connected COPD Has anyone else come across a similar situation .
I was given an inhaler called Spiriva two years ago and gained 22 lbs in a little more than four weeks. It has been over a year now since I last used the drug but I cannot rid myself of the added weight. In addition to this is that all of the weight is around the abdomen and side area and nowhere else. This is a rare and strange side effect but it happened to me. I've seen two doctors and they have no idea what happened even though they agree that it is a strange form of weight gain. Does anyone out there have any insight to this problem? Bill. ## There have been other posts similar to yours from people who experienced the same type of weight gain after using Spiriva. With the weight centralized to the mid-section like this, I have to wonder if the medication isn't affecting you...
i've been on Deliresp for four weeks and have suffered no side effects other than a little shaking of the hands my breathing is great. Does there come a time that it stops working? ## Hello, Patty! How are you? Our bodies eventually get used to anything we use for a long period of time and that causes it to become less effective, however, there is no precise time frame that can be given, it varies form person to person. It may take a few months, or it could work for you for years, there's no way to know. The FDA lists the other typical side effects of this medication as possibly including headache, diarrhea, dizziness and back pain. Is there anything else I can help with?
BEEN ON DALIRESP FOR APPROX. 3WEEKS NOW, IM HAVING PINS AND NEEDLE IN MY STOMACH (ANXIETY). HOW LONG SHOULD I EXPRECT THIS TO GO AWAY. DONT KNOW IF DALIRESP HAS IMPROVE MY BREATHING YET. JUST GOT THE FIRST BOUT OF COPD EXACERBATION AND I FEEL THAT IM STILL RECOVERING FROM IT, BECAUSE OF THIS ATTACKED, MY PULMONOLOGIST PUT ME ON DALIRESP. ## Hello, Jim! How are you? Most side effects are transient and go away, once your body gets used to a medication, it usually takes about 4 to 5 weeks. The FDA lists other typical side effects as possibly including back pain, dry mouth, trouble sleeping, irritability and headache. Is there anything else I can help with?
I am taking amoxillin for lung infection.l have emphysema.lcame out in rash all over which turned into very painful blisters have had for week now seen Dr taken of of amoxillin. But still have blisters. ## Hello, Vince! How are you? Has there been any improvement, yet? If you still have blisters, you should return to your doctor, that could be the sign of a possibly dangerous reaction to this antibiotic. Its typical side effects, as reported by the FDA, may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
The side affects were so numerous, especially insomnia, nausea, and shortness of death. There were a few more.. disappointed that I had to stop. Has anyone had side affects after stopping? ## Hello, Hester! How are you? I'm sorry that you had so many problems with it. Side effects may linger for a week or two, after you stop a medication, depending on how long you were taking it. You may also be experiencing some withdrawal effects. How long has it been since you stopped using it? ## About 2weeks. Insomnia and diarrhea has almost subsided. Thanks for responding. ## I took daliresp for about 2 years and after reading tons of negative side effects and knowing it increased the risk of lung cancer, I decided to quit. Additionally, I noticed no reduction in the number of flares. 3-4 seems t...
can anyone help me please,,, I came across a site that told in some detail how Bromide can interfear with the Thyroid ( test's showing all is well but NOT) Tiotropium Bromide is an ingredient of Speriva Inhaler,, there are so many people who use this medication including myself and have put on copius amounts of weight, all or mainly in the stomach area,,, now I can't find the site
Updated in TiotropiumI am a 67 year old female and I have been prescribed Ciplavasc5. I have been diagnosed with COPD and am on Oxygen. Since taking Ciplavasc I have been suffering with swollen feet. Can this medication be the cause of this. I also take various pumps to open my lungs. I also take a water pill and 2 Ciplavasc 5 and 1 cardiovascular Disprin. The swelling occurs if I have been on my feet for a while. It is also very painful. Please advise. Thank you ## Hello, Joan! How are you? Yes, Ciplavasc contains the active ingredient Amlodipine and as reported by the FDA, it has been known to cause peripheral edema in some people that take it, as well other side effects, such as headache, nausea, dizziness and increased urination. What dose if your water pill? Normally that should help prevent this. Have...
I experienced the following side effects from my medication: weight gain around my midsection, swelling under chin, dry mouth and a hard to clear throat. I cannot stop advair and spiriva (I take daily together) as I need both to breathe. I am so disappointed in this weight gain. Also does anyone know of a way to save money on both meds? By the time my ins. covers their cost it costs me 700.00.
Updated in SpirivaI've had a problem with Spiriva and weight gain (lots of discussion about that elsewhere on this website), but now I have severe anterior leg pain. I thought it was from the unaccustomed weight gain (60 lb. in 6 months after starting Spiriva) but I just went over the Spiriva side effects again and found that leg pain, myalgia, is one of the possible side effects. Does anyone else have this problem that they might not yet have attributed to the Spiriva? ## Hello, Judith! How are you? I'm sorry about the problems you're having. Suffering both of these side effects may actually have compounded the problem. One can just feed the other to worsen the issue, you gain weight, your legs hurt, so you get less active and gain more weight, then they hurt worse and so on. It's basica...
I was prescribed this medication about 4 months ago--started 3 weeks ago--no improvement in sats, swollen eyelids, cough. Ear and head congestion, sore throat, lightheaded - sounds like COPD exacerbation. But it all started shortly after beginning this drug. I also feel tired. Has anyone else had these experiences with the drug? ## Hello, Penny! How are you? I'm sorry about the symptoms you're having. It's very hard to say, it could be due to exacerbation of COPD, or due to the Spiriva, perhaps even a bit of both. Other side effects, as listed by the FDA, may also include fever, heartburn, headache and voice loss. Are you on any other medications?
Graag uw mening.
