Just wanted to add some additional information regarding my experience with Daliresp. It does cause moderate to severe anxiety. That, in turn, causes me to have trouble breathing. In the beginning I did not think that the pill was doing me that much good; however, if you take a mile anxiety medication ( I am taking .25 mg. Alprazolam each morning) the anxiety is less and you can really see your strength coming back. The elephant is gone from my chest. Today I lowered my oxygen by 1/2 liter. I am going to try that each week as a goal to see how far I can get before I hit the wall. Regards and Good Luck!! ## Where you looking for the other thread you were using about experiences with Daliresp? I have copd/chronic bronchitis. Allergic to most albuterol, advair, and rely on primatene mist, but want to try daliresp - i'm eager to see how others are doing. ## does the use of daliresp affect libido or erectile function in male patients ## I believe that like any other medication, there are some people it works well for and others for whom it doesn't. There is another discussion on our site from people that have been using it, which you may be interested in: Richard, those aren't listed as common side effects, but it is difficult to say how any medication may affect anyone that uses it. Have you consulted your doctor?

My Dr. gave me three months suppy of samples. The medication worked great. But now medicaid won't cover it.I have been off of it for 3 months now and am having one attack after another.I go back to Dr. on the dec.27 hope he has more samples. When i went to my Dr. after taking daliresp he said it was the best my lungs have sound in a long time.Any suggestions would be appreciated. ## I am sorry, but I really don't have any advice to give you. The only thing you can really do in this situation is see if your doctor can keep getting the samples for you. There are some assistance programs, but they are only for people that do not have any prescription insurance coverage, at all. Have you tried checking with your insurance company to see why they won't cover it? Some of them have ce...

I am into my fourth month with Daliresp. Doing very well now. Just about all the side effects are gone - was glad to get rid of the anxiety and insomnia. I haven't lost weight, but I have to eat alot to maintain my current weight. I have gone from 3 1/2 liters of oxygen to 2 1/2 liters without having to decrease my activity. I am happy with that. Very happy. Am anxious to see if anyone else is having any luck with this drug. The only issue I have is that it is very expensive. ## Very glad that it is working so well for you. We have some posts from other people that have been using it, here is a link to that discussion: And more information on the medication here: How are you doing, now?

I have been using Spriva for about 2 month and feel great, problem how to know if I have a dud or empty capsule my friend suggested candling (flashlite) to see if anything in it. It works great you can see inside to make sure powder is there, put it back and click then you know, has anyone tried this. ## I'm sorry, what medication are you referring to? Spiriva is an oral inhaler. If you are getting your medication through a legitimate pharmacy, there should be no need to worry about getting an empty capsule. ## I use a legimate pharmacy Kaiser which is my health plan and yes, there have been duds but the candling does work. Try it. you can see how much stuff is in it. your will be surprised. I use Spriva it comes on a sheetand wrapped in blister

having very bad side effects, such as, CONSTIPATION HOW TO OVER-COME THIS SIDE EFFECTS? ## The only way to overcome side effects of a pill is to stop taking it. All prescription drugs have some sort of side effect, so if you don't want to cope with them I would suggest looking into natural remedy solutions for whatever your condition may be. Most natural remedies may not be as strong as prescription drugs and may take longer to work as a result; but in return you are going to have very little, if any side effects whatsoever (given you follow proper instructions on how to take the medicine). Also to help relieve constipation, be sure to look for certain foods (such as fruit and vegetables) that help ease the digestive tract. Doing this will help keep you hydrated and keep your bowels...

Trying to ID a light blue capsule that has T101 on it ## light blue capsule imprinted T101 ## capsule info needed ## I am almost positive this is Spiriva (my mother has a capsule like this for COPD). You put the capsule in the Spiriva inhaler and it punctures it and you inhale the powder. You do not take it orally. If it has a diamond (or is it triangular? I can't remember) logo on the other end of the capsule, then it is definitely spiriva. ## OOPS - It's a round logo with something that looks vaguely triangular inside (need new glasses!)

I took Spiriva the 1st time for 3 weeks and gavce up on it.My doctor says I have to give it a lot more time to show it,s effectiveness.I am now on my 4th week with no obvious improvement.Any suggestions=???? ## Spiriva contains the active ingredient Tiotropium, it is a Bronchiodialotor. Most medications take at least a month to reach their full level of efficacy in your body. If it is not working after this time period, it just may not be the right medication for you and you should definitely speak to your doctor, again. As with any medication, some people get great results from them and some don't, it just depends on your body chemistry. Did your doctor tell you how long they wanted you to continue to try it? ## ofcourse it works, as we know, it is the best drug for chronic bronchi...

For the last two prescriptions my Spiriva inhaler has been cutting off the tip of my medicine on several doses so I get no rattle and do not know if I am getting any medicine or not. I don't use another pill but wait until the next day for my regular dose. What should I do? Is the inhaler problematic? If so, what is the solution for me. I don't want to miss doses but what should I do if I hear no rattle when the medicine is in my inhaler and then I find that the tip of my capsule has been cut off? Help.
