Started my mother a few months ago. She is 80. She started with a few hallucinations, now much worse. It started shortly after and I’m tying it all together and wonder if this could be the case. Anyone experience this?

Hi, everyone. I've been on 5mg dose of Mounjaro for 2 months and have lost about 15 pounds. I love the way I have less desire for food, less craving, and I especially love how I know when to stop eating during a meal. I don't experience side effects unless I inject into my abdomen. Then, within 2 days, the burps and diarrhea start. When injected into my thigh, no bad side effects. Is this true for anyone else?

I am wondering if anyone out there has these symptoms. It seems like in about the third month 7.5 of mounjaro I started feeling vague indigestion that kind of comes and goes across my upper back. I also am constipated and am now on the 10 mg. I have lost 12 pounds and my sugars non fasting were only 105 without any other meds than the mounjaro itself, so over all I am thrilled with what it's doing for me. But I would like to know if anyone else has these particular symptoms with the drug. ## I too have had some constipation issues with mounjaro that I’ve never had before. Dr. Told me to increase water intake and try for 60fl oz/day. I haven’t been successful with that recommendation yet. Also have some mid, lower abdominal pain that comes and goes. I’m looking for some feedback from other Mounjaro users. Currently taking 5 mg weekly, on month 3. I have had positive results in blood sugar, A1C decline and weight loss, however in the last few weeks I have had increasing sulfur burps, pass a lot of gas and have lower abdominal pain. I don’t move my bowels as frequently as I used to either (figured that was due to less food intake). Has anyone else encountered the central lower abdominal pain? I often think it’s gas related, but it’s starting to make me concerned that it’s something more. What experiences do others have?

I started Ozempic on July 24, it is now Oct 1 and I have only lost 8 pounds. I try to stay under 1,200 calories a day and I walk about 10,000 steps. My dose was 0.25 mg which is 10 units or 0.1 ML. Tomorrow, I start my 0.50 mg which is 20 units or 0.2 ML. My question is: Is it normal to lose only 8 pounds in 2 months? ## I've been on Ozempic for 4 months and I've only lost 10 pounds. I was just at my doctor's and she was well pleased, she said it's best to lose it slowly. I'm not as pleased though, of course I'm impatient from hearing of all the ones dropping weight left and right! Maybe it will come to me soon enough, I don't want to give up. Just hold on!

Does anyone have experience with Wegovy side effects (e.g. diarrhea), how long they last, etc? ## Diarrhea is listed by the FDA as a very common side effect of Wegovy, along with headache, dizziness, bloating, and heartburn. Ref: Medline Plus Wegovy Side effects typically hit their peak at around 4 to 6 weeks, after starting a medication at a steady dose, then taper off in severity. Has anyone else that's been taking this medication experienced side effects? ## I think the diarrhea is happening less. That may be because I eat almost nothing. I have been on Ozempic now for 5 weeks. I started at the .25mg and after two weeks, upped it to the 0.5mg. I have never felt so dang good! I'm 53, post-meno, non-diabetic, 5'4", and SW was 264. My current weight, after just one month was down 19lbs! Now I'm down 21lbs! I'd love to finally be 165lbs or so again. I haven't been that small since I was about 11 years old. Ozempic has saved me! I can't believe it. I actually look forward to the injection every week. I only had nausea for a little bit the day after I started. And since, then, it's been great! This is my 4th month on Mounjaro and my 1st month on the 7.5 mg. My A1C is 5.7, down from 10. It is working great but the side effects from the 7.5 mg are rough. Extreme nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. My doctor wants me to increase to 10 mg but I can barely handle the 7.5 mg. Has anyone else experienced these side effects and do they eventually go away? ## I am just ending the 7.5mg injections as well and the side effects (nausea, vomiting, and extreme diarrhea) have me basically incapacitated! I was on ozempic for 1 year and lost 50+ lbs but came to a plateau so started mounjaro and have been on for about 18 weeks and no weight loss at all. I'm on 10 mg dosage now and have been for 6 weeks and no results. Am I the only one its not working for? Frustrated to say the least. ## I've done exactly the same thing even on the highest dosage of mounjaro and it's not working for me either.

My gastric side effects increased dramatically from .5 to 1mg. Nausea and constipation are my main symptoms. Anyone else have this issue? Will the next increase be worse?

Has anyone experienced skin sensitivity while on Wegovy? My skin feels like I have a sunburn. It's not hot, but feels real tight and hurts when touched or clothing moves or anything. No rash. Wegovy is the only new thing but it didn't happen til I had been taking it for 6 or 7 weeks. ## Yes! I am experiencing this also. Hello. I just recently started ozempic I'm type 2 diabetic and am overweight I've worked up to the .5 dose 2 more weeks I'll be on 1.0 is there anyone out there with any experience with this drug? At first I thought I was allergic as I broke out in a rash I thought was poison sumac, but not so sure now. Well, I have been on Jardiance for 4 months now. I have lost 42 pounds. I have reduced meds. But I have to say, I am peeing every hour, and am fairly incontinent. I also have a funny ashy taste in my mouth. Is there anybody else out there on this stuff? ## Hello, Rebecca! How are you? I'm sorry about the side effects that you're experiencing. As listed by the FDA, Jardiance is used to treat type 2 diabetes and help boost weight loss. The increased urination is normal, that's how the medication eliminated the excess sugars from the body, other side effects may include nausea, hypotension, UTIs and hypoglycemia. My first injection was this past Thursday (3 days ago). And I’m on Weight Watchers. Can I expect a more than normal weight loss this first week on Wegovy (0.25 mg)? And please share your weight losses and how many pounds you’ve lost so far on this product. I have been on Mounjaro for about six months. I culminated at 10mg per week, then due to severe constipation and swollen lymph nodes and a swollen throat with difficulty swallowing I have quit. I have been off for about a week and a half, and the symptoms aren’t subsiding.

I started Ozempic in October 2021. I was 209 pounds. I am now 134 pounds. I first started taking Ozempic .25 mg for 3 weeks. I really didn’t lose that much weight and no s/e. I was still a little hungry then I was increased to .50 mg. My appetite started to decrease, and I did that for 3 weeks. Then I started the regular dose of 1 mg, my appetite definitely decreased. I started doing portion control. Eat 1/2 wait 20 min. I never wanted more. I always say to myself: you can eat anything .. just eat small amount .. wait 20 min .. still hungry .. you eat .. not you don’t. I never did. There are many times I had no or little appetite. I have an 8 mg pen but only need to take 1 mg dose. Can anyone tell me how many clicks on the pen I need to only administer the 1 mg dose? Really appreciate any help with this question.

I have been on Ozempic 1mg for a few months and have lost 25 lbs. I feel great but struggle with constipation from the drug. Does anyone else have this problem? ## Ohmygosh!!
