Dear Sir/Madam, After putting stunt in my heart, I have been given 3 tabs daily. One of them is TONACT20. May I know, What is the right time of taking Tonact 20 daily? Thanks & regards. ## Tonact contains the active ingredient Atorvastatin and is used to help lower cholesterol. Side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and joint/muscle aches. As to when you should take it, this site is not medical professionals, you should follow any instructions you received from your doctor or pharmacist. Have you consulted them on this? ## I am also given this tablet after 2 stents. I also feel headache,dizziness,choking and pain in muscles and joints.

I do not remember what this pill was for. I usually take generic brands of Zocor (20mg) and Zanex for anxiety. Can you help me to identify this pill. ## An oval, blue pill with G17 on it, actually contains 220mgs of Naproxen, it is a generic or store brand of Aleve. I am 46 years male having BP and Type II Diabetes. For the last one year I am using Diamicron xr-60, Revelol AM 50/5 and Rozavel F. Since 4 days my bicep muscle is severely paining. Are there any other Crestor takers out there in Australia wo have had or are having side effects such as muscle pain, tingling in arms/legs, first time liver problems etc. etc? ## Sorry to read you are having problems with Crestor. I suffered dreadful side effects fromKJSH another Statin following a minor stroke so GP prescribed Crestor 10mg. For over 4 yrs now no problems. Suggest you see your GP re your side effects. My husband has these pills and we have no idea what there are for (no pill container, he tossed it out by mistake). They are very small, light yellow, oval, and on one side N02 the other side LU do you know what they for? I can't find anything on the net. Does anyone knows about these two medications? (Purposes- pros and cons) ## Fenofibrate is used to help lower cholesterol levels in the blood, it's side effects may include: nausea, headache, constipation and abdominal pain. Learn more: Pascoe Agil is a homepathic product that contains various ingredients, such as calcium, silica and devil's claw and is claimed to help with various arthritic disorders. However, as such, the side effects for it have not been studied and it has not actually been proven to help with anything. Is there anything else I can help with?

Is a Niacin SA Tab the same thing as a Niaspan ER Tab? ## Yes, it is just the generic for it, since Niacin is the active ingredient in Niaspan. I am not a heart patient my doc says prevention is better than cure so fr safer side I am suggested to take one tab daily Tonact 10 mg at bedtime.. My husband has recently started taking 20 mg lipitor and is experiencing severe joint discomfort after that .Doctor has advised to lower the dose to 10mg .How can we cope with this,if anyone has experienced the same. ## Lipitor contains the active ingredient Atorvastatin, which is used to help lower cholesterol. The joint/muscle aches are very common side effects of this class of medications and in some people they are so severe that they have to discontinue use of the medication and try something else. Is there a specific product you are referring to? A blood pressure reading like that is very low and, if it is causing you symptoms, then something should be done about it. I took my first dose in the morning. By later that evening, I had several gut wrenching cramps. They were bearable but very uncomfortable. They got worse, Then I had explosive diarrhea! So far that is the only side effect I am aware of. I'll keep you posted ## Been taking it for a week now, no side effects so far. ## Dr gave me Trilipix (135) after bad reaction to statins. Generic substitue for - Trilipix 135 ## Trilipix contains the active ingredient Fenofibric Acid, it is used to help lower cholesterol and since it was just approved in 2008, there is no generic for this formulation. However, there are some generics available that do contain this same active ingredient, so you may wish to ask your doctor about switching your medication to one of those, which would be cheaper.
