I have been taking prevastatin 40mg for over a year. Is it okay to stop taking it? If not what are the dangers? ## What has your doctor advised? Pravastatin is used to help lower cholesterol and a sudden cessation of it could result in rebound effects, which means you could experience elevated cholesterol levels that may put you in danger, therefore it isn't wise to discontinue it, without your doctor's approval and supervision. How have you cholesterol levels been?

I ordered Lipitor (20) from Comitic Global Caplet. When the pills came, they were red oxide instead of white like they are in the United States. I need to know if this is the same LIPITOR/ATORVASTATIN that I get in the United States. ## I am sorry, but I really can't check them for you, without knowing the markings on the tablets. Can you please post back with more information? From what I finding this is a foreign manufacturer, so they may not be FDA approved products.

Is Stanlip and Crestor a good combination to treat triglycerides level of 450? ## Crestor contains the active ingredient Rosuvastatin and Stanlip contains the active ingredient Fenofibrate, both of which are commonly used to help lower cholesterol. currently on 20mg crestor however benefits have runout and can't afford meds is there any over the counter drug or vitiamin which can replace this? Please advise thanks ## Unfortunately, no, there is isn't. Have you spoken to your doctor about an alternative? There are generics available for some cholesterol medications, which would be a lot cheaper. However, I am unsure of the specific ones that are available in Canada. You can also check with the manufacturer to see if they offer an assistance program for it to their Canadian users. It is manufactured by AstraZeneca and they offer several great programs in the U.S. for people without coverage. what size and color should the above drug be considering different mfgrs. First prescription filled was darker blue and larger than the second one which is smaller green yet both are 20mg lovastatin??? Thank you for replying to my question as I want to be sure I'm taking the correct dosage and medicine. ## what color should lovastatin 20 mg be? I have a round blue with E72 on first prescription. Latest prescription is round pink with 634 on pill. Both are 20 mg. Why the different colors.

If you have been taking Gemfibrozil , one tablet a day for at least say a year. I had some mini strocks and high blood pressure, but I never had high blood pressure, I had low always. I'm taking this atrolip for 6 months. Idont't have diabetes or cholesterol, I don't want to take anymore. It's ok if I 'm in good diet? I have taken tg torF for about 40 days and my lipid profile shows colestrol 136, trygleseride 139 HDL 42, LDL 66.
