Three times I started on Fenofibrate 54 mg and I stopped taking it. I knew the side effect of vertigo was possible. I want to try this drug again BUT I want to know if the vertigo side effect will lessen or subside after time. If so how long does it take for this side effect to go away (If ever). ## best medicine for dizziness due to vertigo ## ML, most such side effects generally last about 4 to 6 weeks, while your body is getting used to the medication. At that same point, they should hit their peak and then start to taper off in severity. Have you talked to your doctor about the issue? And as to the best medication for dizziness and vertigo, there is really no answer to that, because it can vary from person to person. What works well for someone else, may not work for you and vice-ve...

Where was it found? Is anyone familiar with this tablet? ## Simvastatin?

I have been taking pravastatin 80mg for over 6yrs, it's always been a white oval shaped pill with 7270 on one side and TEVA on the other side. I got my RX filled today, just opened the bottle to take my nightly meds, and it's a tannish colored oval shaped pill with LU on one side and NOL on the other side. Is this the same med? ## I believe the marking you're looking at is LU N04, the way they style the 4 makes it easy to mistake for an L on these tablets, because it's hard to see the formation of it in its entirety on the tablet's surface. And yes, it is an 80mg Pravastatin tablet, the pharmacy was probably able to get these one from Lupin Pharmaceuticals cheaper than the ones manufactured by Teva. Is there anything else I can help with?

to reduce cholesterol level which are the best medicin with less side effect instead of above tablet 5 mg ## There is really no way to say which one would be better for any single person, because everyone can react to a medication differently. Have you discussed this with your doctor? ## i need to redoce triglyciride without medication. im 40 and my TG is 250mg/dl.

I need patient assistance with Crestor 20 mg. medication. How can I go about applying, if possible? ## Astra Zeneca, the manufacturer, actually has an excellent assistance program for people that require their medications, but don't have prescription coverage. It's called AZ&Me and offered through RxAssist, you can contact them about applying at 800-424-3727. It is based on income, so some people that qualify receive their medications for free and others pay based on a sliding fee scale. Is there anything else I can help with?

Doc prescribed Rosuvas 5 for my husband for his high cholesterol. The label says Rosuvastatin Calcium IP equivalent to Rosuvastatin 5 mg. Are both the same, I am afraid to use the medication since it says Calcium - my husband has stones in his kidney. ## It is not that type of calcium, in this case it just refers to the specific chemical salt that the medication has been derived from. This medication may cause side effects, such as nausea, headache, dizziness and joint/muscle aches. Learn more: Is there anything else I can help with?

is there a generic pill for livalo? ## Information I've gathered states the following: A generic version of Livalo (pitavastatin) is not available. This medication is protected by patents and exclusivity rights that prevent a generic version of the drug from being manufactured in the United States. The earliest predictable date that a generic Livalo product could become available is in May or June 2015, after the first patent expires. NOTE: Pitavastatin is the active ingredient in Livalo, but it is not a generic version of it. Once the drug goes off-patent, there may be several companies that manufacture a generic Livalo drug. I hope this information helps!

I have high cholesterol and need a gluten free, lactose free lipid lowering drug. Please let me know what is available. ## I'm sorry, but the only way I would have access to such information is if I had a specific manufacturers name to check, there is no regular database that has this information. Have you tried asking your pharmacy? They can usually run it through their system using their allergy database to check what might be available for you to use.
