Rosuvastatin Calcium
UpdatedDoc prescribed Rosuvas 5 for my husband for his high cholesterol. The label says Rosuvastatin Calcium IP equivalent to Rosuvastatin 5 mg. Are both the same, I am afraid to use the medication since it says Calcium - my husband has stones in his kidney.

It is not that type of calcium, in this case it just refers to the specific chemical salt that the medication has been derived from.
This medication may cause side effects, such as nausea, headache, dizziness and joint/muscle aches.
