Tab Tonact 10 Mg

I am not a heart patient my doc says prevention is better than cure so fr safer side I am suggested to take one tab daily Tonact 10 mg at bedtime.. Please let me know should I start taking this med?

Tonact contains the active ingredient Atorvastatin, which is usually used to help lower cholesterol. Have you had any test that show you have high cholesterol?

These medications can cause some problematic side effects, like nausea, dizziness, headache and joint muscle aches.

While your doctor is right, in a way, it isn't advisable to use drug for something, when they aren't needed. You can start now by using your diet and exercise to help lower and control your cholesterol levels, if they aren't high.
