Side effects nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite what can I do ## Hello, Alma! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. How long have you been taking it? Those can be side effects of it, as reported by the FDA, you may also experience dizziness and headache. However, side effects are typically transient and go away with time, as your body gets used to the medication. If you've been on it for over a month and are still experiencing such issues, you may need to switch to a different medication.

Hi I've been taking Megestrol Tablet once a day for two months now to help me gain weight and I haven't seen an results should I change from Tablets to Liquid/ ## Hello, Tasha! How are you? Since they are the same substance, just different forms, switching from one to the other isn't likely to help. Have you consulted your doctor? You may need to try something else. How much are you trying to gain and why? The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including dizziness, drowsiness and increased appetite.

I found a baggie with several pills in it. My husband passed away with cancer. Wondering if he was hoarding pills for suicide. There are 2 other kinds of pills in the baggie also. ## Hello, Nan! How are you? I'm very sorry for your loss, that so tragic. As to this pill, it is manufactured by Barr Laboratories and they list it as being a 0.9mg Cenestin tablet, which is a synthetic estrogen. It is most commonly used for hormone replacement therapy. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thank you very much for the information and for the kind words. I thought the pills looked familiar.

But studies since the mid 80s have been performed on mice, and prove very promising. You can find some interesting facts at Wikipedia by looking up CD-47, which is the pro...

My son has been taking Erivedge for 4 months. His facial hair, eyebrows re thinning. His hairline is receeding. I have heard some people take this medicine for 6 months and off 6 months. I am afraid if he stays on it full time -- he will loose all of his body hair and I am afraid of what this will do him. I have heard people on Chemotherapy take 5,000mcg Biotin. Has anyone tried this to help counteract the affects of hair loss. Would taking this medicine for 3 months on and 3 months off help to couteract the affects of hair loss while keeping the cancer at bay? ## Hair loss can be a very common side effect of Erivedge, but what you really have to consider is which is worse, the temporary hair loss, or letting the cancer be out of control? My father in law had a bypass about 6 years ago. He then developed colon cancer. He went for the op and is now cancer free. He was told however to take Pantacid 20. After the 1st month the Dr just continued giving it to him. He now gets weak regularly and has to be hospitalised for blood transfusion. They do scans and diagnostics, but can't find anything. He also finds it difficult to eat, has the runs, passes lots of gas. Pls can someone help by telling me if he should stop or what we can do. The Dr is not very helpful and unapproachable. ## Hello, Lee! How is your father-in-law doing? Is this the only medication he's taking? Pantocid contains the active ingredient Pantoprazole, which reduces the amount of acid produced by the stomach to treat or prevent conditions, such as hea...

I'm 39 yrs old, taking nur isterate from July this year until now. My problem is that I'm on my period and it's been 3days now and I'm worried if this is a sign of a vaginal infection or if it's a sign of cancer? Pls help, cause the blood is thick and smelly. ## Hello, Nikiwe! How are you? Using contraceptive doesn't stop you from having a period. Some women don't, some women skip a period here and there and some people never experience a change in their cycle. However, having an odor to it is not normal and is something you should have checked out, since that may be the sign of an infection. The FDA lists the other typical side effects of this contraceptive as possibly including headache, dizziness, weight gain and PMS-like symptoms. Is there anything else I...

Can u have side effects of Zoledronic infusion? I have a watery mouth and taste of metal in my mouth. ## Hello, Lesley! How are you? Yes, any medication, of any type, risks causing side effects, even over the counter products. Along with those, you may also experience nausea, anemia, muscle aches, fever and flu-like symptoms, as listed by the FDA. Is there anything else I can help with?

Had my first infusion of Reclast last Thursday and have been a wreck ever since. Take Tylenol - hell second night I was taking the Norco I was prescribed when I broke my collar bone, which lead to the osteoporosis diagnosis!!!! Now I'm worried sick that I will have to take days off work as I don't know how I will be able to work feeling like crap. I also need to have a crown re-done next month, and I was never told anything about dental work needing to be done before the infusion. I work in healthcare and to be honest I "trusted" my doc - who never spent the time to discuss all these side effects with me. I should have known better! I have so many other health issues I'd rather just give up. ## Hello, Tami! How are you? I'm so sorry about what's happened. Are...

I have been taking bosulif for a little over a year now. I first started with 300 mg with very few side effects. About 10 months ago the dose was raised to 400 mg. Worst side effect with that was the diarrhea, but was manageable. 4 months ago, the dose increased to 500 mg. Since this last increase, I have had terrible chest pains. Both with activity and at rest. Am taking a number of medications for the coronary artery spasms that the doctor claims is the cause of the chest pain. The pain never seems to go away entirely, even with the constant dose escalations of heart medication. Has anyone ever heard of this problem while taking bosulif? Not sure what to do. I really don't want to quit taking it ( bosulif) because after trying three other drugs, this one is really working for me. ...

I know someone with stage 4 breast cancer. It has spread to her liver, she has a tumor on her breast bone, etc. How has H-86 worked against this aggressive stage of cancer? ## Hi Michelle, From what I understand, there are no real reports of H-86 being a legitimate cancer drug. There are less than a handful of vague articles that briefly state it's use for such treatments. One other user on here found information claiming it to be a type of fermented wheat germ; however I personally have yet to come across any specific details linking them to one another. If anyone else out there has more information on this H-86 substance, please do share! On a side note, I would like to add that there are several (yes, several) other types of natural cancer killers out there if you do the research...

Medications, such as CO Etidrocal are well known to cause these types of side effects in some people that take them. As listed by the FDA, you may also experience nausea, dizziness and headaches. There really is no relief for it, so to speak, you may need to stop taking it or switch to a different medication. Have you informed your doctor of the problem? ## I had to stop talking it because I was in a lot of pain

Can taking zimbalta cause an 80% chance of bladder cancer? ## Hello, Charlie5! How are you? Did you mean Cymbalta? I have never heard of such a thing and it's not listed in the medication warnings and side effects that the FDA provides. I also find it highly doubtful that any drug agency would approve a medication with that high of a risk. The typical side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and weight changes. Is there anything else I can help with?

DOSE ANY ONE KNOW HOW TO CONTACT JENNY THOMPSON? I CAN NOT FIND ANY OF THESE ITEMS IN THE MIRACLES FROM THE VAULT ## Hi Harold, Just an FYI, various products from the health science institute are deemed to be a scam. H-86 is apparently a form of fermented wheat germ extract (which has displayed anti-cancer properties). But as far as the HSI company itself being legitimate, I think enough people throughout the forums here have already been scammed by buying into their subscription on miracles from the vault. In light of that, I'd encourage you to check out this other discussion thread pertaining to another product from the health science institute, evidently showing that they are not a trustworthy company after all: Discuss/DBX-13-scam-261559.htm I hope this helps! ## Look up the Hea...

I haven't seen heartburn listed specifically as a side effect, but have been experiencing a lot lately. I have not previously had a problem with this. Also have a lot of tingling in right hand, maybe associated with some disk disintegration that was a problem 15 years ago. ## Hello, Meg! How are you? It has been known to cause various gastro-intestinal issues as side effects, according to the FDA, even ulcers in some rare cases, so heartburn isn't actually surprising. It can also cause some pain and musculoskeletal issues, but it would be best to have that checked out by your doctor to be safe. Is there anything else I can help with?
