please advise what this pill use for what ## Hi Brenda, The closest match I've been able to locate is Atenolol (100 mg) + Chlorthalidone (25 mg). It is a white round pill with the imprint MP 152. The P intersects with the M and doesn't really stand out as an imprint on its own -so maybe it was rubbed off at some point- making it appear as if only the M is part of the imprint. Manufacturer: Mutual Pharmaceutical Company, Inc. Atenolol is used for a number of conditions including: hypertension, angina, acute myocardial infarction, supraventricular tachycardia, ventricular tachycardia, and the symptoms of alcohol withdrawal. Atenolol is currently recommended only in special circumstances as complementary medication in hypertension. More frequently one or more of ACE Inhibitors, cal...
D Is this worth the side effects ## Hi, Gina! Are you going to be taking it for high blood pressure or a cardiac condition? If so, then the question I'd like to ask is if your life is worth the side effects? I'm not intending to be rude or anything by asking that, it is a perfectly serious question. I have been there. I was diagnosed with high blood pressure, but I didn't take it seriously. When I had bad side effects from a medication, I stopped taking it and didn't go back to the doctor, or seek another doctor to try something else. I just let it continue out of control for another year…. Until I ended up passing out in the ER, unable to breathe from full congestive heart failure before I was 40 years old. Almost dying finally made me pay attention. It took sever...
I am experiencing hypotension (72/40) Is this related to the use of this drug? I am calling the doctor tomorrow. Also experiencing nausea. Please help ## This is still Gary...the BP should read 72/40. ## Hi, Gary! Sorry about the issues you're having. Are you feeling any better? The nausea can be a normal side effect of this antibiotic, however, the hypotension isn't. But the question there is whether or not you've had other side effects from it, such as diarrhea? If so, then you may be getting dehydrated, which could be causing the low BP. Learn more Nitrofurantoin details here.

Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, stomach pain and hypotension
I have a friend that is taking way too much pills. She is daily consuming hands full of Adco-dols, Azor and Stilnox. How likely is an overdose from the combination of these drugs and what is the best way to deal with this addiction. ## An overdose depends on the specific amounts she is taking and her tolerance to them. And the best way to deal with the addiction is to get medical help for her. There is nothing you can do yourself to stop it. The best intervention will come from a medical professional that's trained to deal with such problems. How long has she been doing this?

This tablet reduces body weight by removing water from body. I have lost 12 kgs in 8 months with dosage of one tablet per day in morning. Are there any other side effects apart from this?. ## Hi, Mohan! This medication is actually not intended to be used for weight loss. It contains Losartan, which is an ARB that's used to help treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions, as well as Hydrochlorothiazide, which is the diuretic that helps remove excess fluid. And yes, there may be other side effects, it is processed through the liver, so there is a chance that long term use could cause liver damage. You may also experience dizziness and nausea due to your blood pressure going low. An even bigger concern is dehydration if you're removing too much fluid from your body. L...

Any thoughts of experiences with Enalapril, please? ## HI, sorry about the issues you're having. That's terrible. And yes, it could be an adverse reaction to the Enalapril. Technically, it should help with such issues, but most medications are capable of causing the opposite of their intended effect in some people that try them. Unfortunately, without knowing more specific details on the homeopathic remedy he's taking, I can't really provide you with any information. I'd need to know the actual ingredients to check for any possible problems or interactions. The Telmisartan in the Telma H is commonly given to help protect the kidneys and support their function, especially in people that are diabetic or who have other conditions that may predispose them to kidney damage. I've just started Bystolic -I take Fenofibrate, Lisinopril and Amlodipine but my BP was (and remains) at 160/74. This has been true for several years. I'm an exerciser and within an hour after exercise my bp is 130/60. My at rest pulse is 55. Since I've been on Bystolic (2 days) my pulse is lower but my bp hasn't moved. I'm a bit slower in my exercise regimine - from 13.5 min./mile to 15 min./mile - I'm 72 ## It sounds to me like you're doing great as far as exercise goes. My only suggestion would be to turn most of your attention to what you're eating on a regular basis, as I believe this has a significant impact on your BP levels overall. I used to have high BP for years in the range of 150/90, but was able to control it by controlling my eating habits ...
