I have rheumatoid arthritis. I've been taking defza 6mg for more than one and half years. I am now gaining weight (10 kg). Can I stop taking it? When I stop taking the tab will I get back to my normal weight and when I stop immediately will I have severe pain? Please advise. ## This contains the active ingredient Deflazacort, which is a steroid class medication, so after being on it for such a long period of time, you cannot abruptly stop taking it. First and foremost, changes in your diet are most likely going to have the biggest impact on your blood pressure. Eating foods that have little to no sodium and which are high in potassium and magnesium are your best food sources for lowering blood pressure in my opinion. These foods primarily include fresh fruits and vegetables; bananas and dates in particular are great for this, among many others! Other dietary and non dietary options fo...

Why is one tablet 7.5 tiny and another by different manufacturer much larger? Are they adding extra ingredients and if so why? I find it odd one can be so small and another so big. I checked and both are correct dosage. ## Yes, it is due to the inactive ingredients that they use. There is a list of them that are considered inactive and benign, with no therapeutic effect that the manufacturer can choose from, when making the tablets. Learn more Meloxicam details here. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thank you for your reply. Is it possible to get a list of the inactive ingredients ? This pill has a 79 on one side and a c on the other. It is 7.5. Can I use an open tub with a bbe 7/11 date? ## I can't really tell you if this Glucosamine Sulphate will help you or not, since it is expired by almost a year. Although I do agree that certain medications are actually okay to take after expiration, there are others such as antibiotics that can become toxic. Nothing lasts forever without expressing signs of degeneration. The only real way to know how long it can maintain it's potency after expiration, would be to have it lab tested periodically. Does anyone else have an opinion to share on this?
