Inflam Tablet 400 Mg

my mother is a patient of rheumatoid arthritis. she is being treated in india(kolkata). her doctor has given her this tablet "inflam 4400" . but her pain in knee n other joints in her body are not dreasing. so i am in tension if this tablet is harmful for her. because, i think we all in todays world donot like pain killer...so please inform me as fast as possible which type of tablet it is..and mostly highlight what calamity it can create..please

I assume from the name that it is some type of anti-inflammatory.
