had a cortisone shot and it caused a seizure, now they want me to have a cockscomb shot in my knee and I am reluctant to do it. ## Hi Andrea, I can certainly see why anyone would be reluctant to follow through with these shots after an experience like that. Based on others' experiences I've read, I can say that it doesn't always work the same for each individual, as many have had great results with cockscomb shots without the side effects. Are there any more natural approaches you've considered trying instead of these shots?

is keprocaine cream good for knee pain and inflamation ## Please correct me if I'm wrong, but from what little bit of information I could gather, Keprocaine cream is a topical pain cream with the following active ingredients: Ketoprofen - nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug Baclofen - used to treat muscle spasms and tightness Cyclobenzaprine - skeletal muscle relaxant Lidocaine - local anesthetic With that said, I do believe it could be beneficial for knee pain and inflammation. Additionally, I would also highly recommend looking into "hyaluronic acid injections" for knee pain, as I've heard some great things about its effectiveness. I hope this helps!

My doctor gave me 20 mg white, scored pill with writing on one side around the pill and 25. I cann't see the words. He took blood tests and said my a.m. cortisol was very low and my adrenalin was insufficient. I don't understand what he is talking about. He gave this perscription for Hydrocort 20 mg 1 pill day, 1/2 pill p.m..I don't know if this is serious or what it even is. I don't like my doctor because he gets mad if I ask questions, but twice he gave me the wrong medication, and they had to do emergency surgery right away, or wi would have lost my foot. Another surgeon did it and told me he opened my foot and stood back, that is how the infection inside just exploded all over everything. That wasn't the first mistake my doctor made. I go to him for arthritis. Pl...

Are there any known side effects for this medicine? Also, for what purpose is it prescribed? ## The Diacerein in this is used to treat pain and inflammation from conditions such as arthritis. The other ingredients Potassium, MSM and Glucosamine are supplements that are believed to help with joint health and mobility. As to the side effects, I don't have any information on that, since the Diacerein is the only drug ingredient and it isn't approved and used in the U.S. The only one that I know having been reported from it is diarrhea.

In 2005 I was diagnosised with a compressed disc and degenerative back disease and I also had developed some arthritis. I started taking Flex Protex and immediately got pain relief for the arthritis. As I continued to take it I started to notice that the back pain had lessened. I am now pain free in my lower back and can pick up all my grandkids. I believe that product grew back the cartliage in my back. I don't see why it wouldn't help with knee and hip pain, also. I recommend it to people all the time but a lot of people just tell me that they are too far gone. I really feel sorry for them because I know that Flex Protex works. It took about a year for all my back pain to be gone but it was wonderful when it left. Nothing is going to be an over night fix so don't listen to...

Can zempred be used as anti throat allergy medicine also? ## Zempred contains Methylprednisolone, which is a steroid class medication, so while it can be used to treat some symptoms of severe allergic reactions, it is not actually an allergy medication.
