My husband and I have had our daughter, which is now 30, tested for everything and the doctors can't seem to be able to give us a diagnosis, and things are not getting any better. My beautiful daughter has struggled and suffered so much and it breaks my heart to know that the Yutopar that was given to me, affected my baby. My daughter is the one who suffers from it on a daily basis. My second child is normal, and I did not take the drug while carrying him. I would really like to talk to all of you, something needs to be done to care for these kids that are now adults that can not cope. They sleep, eat, are extremely depressed, suicidal thoughts, learning problems, unable to conform to society, lies, bi-polar, anti-social, can't function in everyday life and with everyday problems.We need help. If anyone out there could possible contact me {edited for privacy}.

See my answer below About adaptogens like rhodiola and astrogalus. Also liverherbs help, like milk thistle. Yutopar affects the liver so a proper livercleans like Andreas Morritz describes, helpend me a lot. Also floweremedies are of great value in my life a a yutopar-child. Its a long difficult way. I too took ritodrine (in1985) and have wondered if it may have affected my son,now 30, who suffers from anxiety, depression, substance abuse. Had sleep and emotional regulation issues as an infant and child.

I have a 26 yr old son that was diagnosed with sensory integration at age 4. He had significant developmental delays in all areas. When he was four yrs old a team of specialist advised me to drop my child off at a state hospital for children that are severely MR or significant problems that can't be addressed at home. Their advice "take him there and forget you had him!" I was given morphine when I went into premature labor seven weeks early. Once contractions were stopped, I was placed on bed rest and prescribed yuropar for six weeks to prevent premature birth. I have an older son who had no health problems and then my younger son, the 26 yr old has struggled all his life.

Also took yutopar from Oct. 12, 1986 until Jan. 20, 1987 to prevent miscarriage. My son has suffered night terrors, ADD, and more….I couldn't understand how a drug that made your heart pound like it was coming out of my chest and the veins in my neck bulge and vibrate…..how could that be good for the unborn child?? My 34 year old son also suffers the same bi-polar, schizophrenia. I took the drug in 1981. Please let me know if there is a legal suit. I have my medical records. Thank you.

FDA sent email that report was received. Clicked on email and there was nothing in it, just title saying it was received. So...that's that. Anyone with concerns about Yutopar/Ritodrine taken during premature labor, please at least report it to them. Best to have it documented in case something eventually is done about this.

I'm sorry to hear that your child has also suffered from this drug taken during pregnancy. Please file a report with the FDA explaining the effects that your son has suffered due to this. Best to have it documented, just in case. Hopefully, if enough people do the same, they will be forced to address this problem. My son still suffers severely, it's so heartbreaking.

I'm about ready to throw in the towel. His life gets worse everyday. Depression, anxieties, psychosis, talks about suicide as an option if we can't find help. Only answer from doctors is medication and none of that has helped so far. He deserves to have a life. We need more people that took this drug for preterm labor to come forward, whether their children are suffering or not. We need to hear from them all.

Hello. Also had THE medicine as a baby in the womb . Im 39 now and had many struggles in life. After a long Path of Natural medicine and deep self study i find myself very Stable and happy. I wrote more messages before here on this forum with information on how I worked on this issue. So dont give up. There is hope and there is a way out. If i can do it..... Good luck, keep up!!

I'll introduce my case again. I'm a new case. I was on ritodrine in 2011. I was on IV ritodrine at the highest possible dose for several weeks. I have video evidence of the side effects caused by this drug. It was a terrible experience. I felt like my heart was going to explode. If you do some new research into ritodrine you will be able to find new avenues to pursue.

Sorry for not being able to be more specific. Any comments too specific aren't allowed through. There is a small growing group of people and we are now quite easy to locate. I suggest you either look at Yutopar Aka Ritodrine or simply just ritodrine. My video is also out there. If you don't have any video evidence yourself of what it was like to be on ritodrine your friends/family may find it helpful to understand what it was like.

Well the Copper thing is,that they found her daughter to be 100% deficient of copper which we have naturally..like most of us looking for a solution anything is worth looking into... Look up CBD oil. I get it for about twenty dollars and I use it daily.

Check into Hemp seeds. I don’t think there is CBD in them though, there is definitely no THC. I started eating them with cereal each morning and it seems to help a bit. You can find them at Walmart in the baking section with flax seeds. Also can order online, but I wanted to give them a try before spending more money and Walmart is the only place that sells them in my area. Sounds strange I know, but worth a try. I’m battling depression and anxiety now because of what this drug has done to my children. I need to stay healthy for them and Wellbutrin doesn’t really help.

Hi,
I am currently doing IVF in UK and was prescribed ranitodine (5mg 4 times per day) just after embryo transfer. I have been taking the pills for 4 days and find the side effects just awful which prompted me to do a google search on the drug... and i am now horrified at what i have discovered and completely in shock - why would my ivf clinic put me on such a dangerous drug??! Im so saddened to read about everyones experiences with this drug. Im worried that i may have done some damage to my potentially unborn baby? Any advice would be really appreciated.. can i ask for how long ladies were taking the medication and the strength of the dose? I have taken a total of 80mgs over the 4 days.. Thank you so much

Sorry i meant to say ritodrine! My one year old was taking a similar sounding drug for reflux called ranitidine!! I was taking ritodrine to help with implantation for my ivf cycle. I really hope someone can give me more info as i am now so scared. Almost hoping i am not pregnant in case ive done some terrible damage to this baby

I was given Ritodrine in my 7th month through an IV. My son who is now 24 was sick a few weeks after he was born and to this day has never been diagnosed. When he was 6 months old they did a spinal tap on him because his soft spot on his head was so swollen. For the next 7 or 8 years and many trips to ER and ambulance rides he experienced episodes where his eyes would glaze over, his temp would go up to 104 and he would just drop and fall asleep. The doctors chalked it up to Asthma because they didnt know how else to treat him... sorry but it wasnt Asthma, I dont know what it was but hes had many issues since, was born with a birth defect, and started drug use at 10 yrs old and eventually turned to H. He has always had an urge to be high no matter what, he told me he cant help it, many rehab visits, and a suboxone program couldnt help him... I know someday I will bury him and I blame the drug Ritodrine for most of his issues. Has anyone else experienced this with your child or anyone whos Mom had this drug had any of these issues? I would love to hear from you.. ty
