I was told 7.5 vicodin no imprint because it was generic, true? ## Hello, Avedon! How are you? No, that is not true. Even generic prescription tablets in the U.S. are required to have imprints to enable their identification, in case of emergency. If it has no imprint, it is most likely some type of over the counter product. I'll do some searching and post back, if I find anything that matches this description. Does anyone else recognize this tablet? The FDA classifies Vicodin as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

My dentist prescribed me 5 vicodin pills for a procedure. I went to the pharmacy to fill them and followed their directions. Ended up taking only 3 out of the 5 and they kept rest (which I found weird) that I had to pay for. Anyone know why? ## Hello, Jd05! How are you? Unless you're under a pain management contract that requires a pill count, then you don't have to take pills with you, so they may have thought you were turning them in to be disposed of, which is usually why people do that. I was in a severe accident 24 years ago. Have been on Vicodin ever since. The med allows for a total life. I do yoga, work full time and raised kids successfully. Now the laws are so bad and Dr's are cutting down my meds. I'm barely able to make it to my obligations anymore and am very very depressed. I'm in Southern Oregon and need to find another Dr that will prescribe what I need. I have all the documentation necessary. Please please help this woman who wants to keep being a good citizen and mother to grown kids.

how long do u have to take vicodin for the right amount to show up on a urine screen ## I'm 5'2 and 120lb. How can you tell if a Vicodin 10/325 Is real? It is easier to snap in half than usual. Does that make a difference? Is there any other way to determine if they are real or not? Well, first things first, I think anyone getting their meds via a doctor's prescription from a licensed pharmacy shouldn't have to worry if they're real. Licensed pharmacies don't dispense fake medication, even though they do dispense ineffective brands/generics more often than they'd probably like to admit. V.A. sent me hydrocodone 5mg/acetaminophen 325mg. It has red dots all over, with # 3202 on one side, and Watson on the other side. So, is this really hydrocodone, 5, with acetaminophen 325 mg ? My levels came back high for hydrocodone, on blood test, but Rx said " no more than 8 in a 24 hour period, and I have never taken more than that, in 24 hour period. Norco 750 white with pink dots ## Prescription drugs that contain Acetaminphen are not allowed to have more than 325 mg of Acetaminphen now. ## @Michelle, Post #1 is correct. Acetaminophen is capped out at 325mg now-a-days. So the old Vicodin's with 750mg of Acetaminophen are no longer being made. However you can still get the 7.5mg dose of Hydrocodone. I wouldn't want such high amounts of Acetaminophen in my tablets anyways though since the risk of liver damage is always there. Makes me wonder why they still bother putting Acetaminophen in medications, seeing that it offers very little benefits vs risks. Did you also have any specific questions regarding these pills? This is going to sound a little crazy. I am a retired physical therapist. At 59 years old i have been very active in sports from a young age. Needless to say I have treated just about every injury that can occur in the human body over the years. Most required pain meds to endure p.t. I have always been interested in mma, so i decided to move to las vegas and train at the major gyms there. BAD mistake! I Took my prescription to a pharmacy to be filled and they said they couldn't fill it because that strength 10 325 doesn't exist anymore with Vicodin. They said the doctor should've made the prescription out for either 10/300 or Norco 10/325. I went to another chain pharmacy and they said there was no problem at all and they filled the prescription and said the law allowed them to generically fill the prescription with either Norco 10/325 or Vicodin 10/300 which ever they had available as long as it wasn't over 10/325. Can you take vicodin 5.300mg if you have heart problems ## Hydrocodone can affect people differently. Because of that you need to talk to your dr before taking this or any med. ## Hi Sharron, BL is right about discussing this with your doctor first, since Hydrocodone can affect each person differently. I will say though, according to Vicodin's drug monograph, there are no contraindications listed against patients who specifically have heart problems. The only warning I found suggests that patients with a known hypersensitivity to Hydrocodone or Acetaminophen should not take it. I was taking vicodin for a few weeks, and slowly tapered myself off it and had taken some the day before my job interview where I had no idea they would mouth swab me! I was already in full blown withdrawals when I took the test! Will I be okay? I DO have a doctors note and bottle just in case. But I'm wondering if it will even show up positive for opiates?!

Has lp on top 145 below it.told it was vicodin???the other side smoth.the pill is white n round. ## Hi tru, Most Vicodin/Norco pills I've come across are usually white oblong tablets, but this white round pill marked with IP 145 reportedly contains 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone bitartrate + 200mgs of Ibuprofen. It's NOT Vicodin/Norco, however I think the Ibuprofen may make for a good alternative for those who can't tolerate Acetaminophen, due to potential liver problems. The manufacturer is listed as Amneal Pharma. I hope this helps!

Vicodin contains Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone; while this pill contains Acetaminophen (500mg) + Oxycodone (7.5mg). Since they have a changed the compound of vicodine to the 325 10 I have had a really bad problem with etching I have had him change them to Percocet no but it's not any better I have to take tiny little bites of the pain pill. I have fibromyalgia and as every one no's it is very painful so don't no what to do be in pain of itch don't want to go to the really strong ones yet have a life time of this don't want to burn my bridges to fast. ## Hello, Taxicabmom!
