Fake Vicodin?

How can you tell if a Vicodin 10/325 Is real? It is easier to snap in half than usual. Does that make a difference? Is there any other way to determine if they are real or not? On one side there's a V and on the other side is 36|01. They are also yellow in color.

Well, first things first, I think anyone getting their meds via a doctor's prescription from a licensed pharmacy shouldn't have to worry if they're real. Licensed pharmacies don't dispense fake medication, even though they do dispense ineffective brands/generics more often than they'd probably like to admit.

On the other hand, if for some reason you're not obtaining your meds in this fashion, I'm afraid the only honest way to know for sure that what you have is real would be to get the tablet(s) analyzed by a lab for verification. Counterfeits are becoming more prominent now-a-days and in many cases look exactly like the real thing. The V 36|01 imprint on a yellow oval pill is certainly recognized as a real tablet, however, using your own best judgement depending on how you obtained them would probably answer that question most truthfully outside of utilizing a lab's services.
