I took a 30mg oxy at 8am then a half of a 30mg oxy at 8 pm. I was able to get my suboxone filled at midnight thanks to a wonderful pharmacist at Walgreens. Ive been in withdraw since 11 last night....at 5am I decided to score myself on the Cows and I scored a 20. I decided to take a suboxone. It has been twenty minutes since the suboxone and I don't feel well but i don't feel sick...I have absolutely no energy!!! Will I know if Im getting precipitated withdraws. trying to detox from subone have been on 8mgs a day for 15 months need help please thank you. ## Hi confused, I hope I don,t confuse you more but heres what I did when I got down to 8mgs. By the way, it was my sub. drs. taper plan. For 2 weeks I alternated, day 1 8mgs. day2, 4mgs. day3, 8mgs.day4, back to 4mgs. This averages out to 6mgs. I kept this routine up for 2weeks then tapered to 4mgs. From the 4mgs I tapered 1mg. per week. After the last week on 1mg. I stopped completely. I was taking the strips and when I got down to 4mgs. sub dr. prescribed the 2mg strips just because it was easier to cut. Tapering this way was a walk in the park. No wds. bettween tapers. Last week on 1mg I woke up couple times thruout night but went right back to sleep. No problems after that. Been off subs s...
n8- octagone shape, orange in color ## nee you to identify pill found (N8- orange in color, octagone type shape.i am concerned for my son and younger kids i have if someone gets it with out my knowledge. ## as far as i know he had taken this pill for a way to get off of a pain pill he was depended upon after a surgery ## Yes, this would be something used for addiction, it is a new medication called Suboxone, here's an image of the pill: Pill Image Click Here It contains 8mgs of Buprenorphine, which is a narcotic pain med, but it can help treat addiction because it does not act on the pleasure receptors and provide the high and euphoria like other narcotics. It also contains an opiate agonist, 2mgs of Naloxone. That said, however, yes, you are right to worry about children or even a ...
I am searching for a doctor in cornwall ontario who administers suboxum ## I don't know if they have an actual directory for Canada, but you can check the website Suboxone.com here. The site also has contact information, so you might be able to directly ask the manufacturer about it. Learn more Suboxone information here. Is there anything else I can help with?
My gf just started on subs and I swear shes high, don,t care but just noticable. Is this even possible? Been on them my self and experianced nothing like what Im talking about. ## Yes, it is possible. Suboxone does contain a very potent narcotic, Buprenorphine, so it can have that affect on some people. Even though it didn't have that effect on you, she may experience it, because medications can affect everyone differently. Learn more Suboxone details here. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have been out 3 weeks and already relapsed. I have sub appt the 26th of june. do you think they will give me another chance and if so do you think tenncare will cover it. ## Not on Tenncare myself but I,m next to possitive they will cover script but maybe not appointments.

I screwed up! I know this and that's why I wanted life back! After 4 years of the same story. Started with Lortab after back fusion, 2 every 4-6 hrs as needed and ended with 20 or so Oxycotin a day just because... My choice. My money. Time to straighten up and fly right! It's been 7 months now on Suboxone. Going great with lots of support, until today... At my appointment, I was told that I was positive for Hydrocodene and Oxycotin!!! I was told it showed that it had been going on for weeks. When I said that I had not taken anything, I was told I was lying & to continue treatment, it would be done weekly with weekly urinalysis?!? I am a grown man but sorry to say, I've cried most of the day. NO-ONE believes an addict! I'm doing everything right! I quit social drinkin...
HOW IS IT LIKE TO COME OFF THIS? ## There are actually quite a few active threads going with information on suboxone withdrawals, including personal experiences. The link below should help you find more details on the topic: Your doctor should also help you taper gradually to avoid the worst of the withdrawal symptoms, however, it is an opiate, so odds are you will experience withdrawal effects just like stopping any other narcotic if you stop abruptly. I hope this helps!
I started suboxenoe 5 weeks ago. I skipped my last appointment because I started going backwards right away. I think I'm taking a 1/4 of a film now once a day. Last night I woke up with a severe anxiety attack. I took a film then about 12 hours later 1/4 again. I've been worried all day that I'm not going to be able to do this. I just don't want to be addicted to anything. ## One thing that I would find helpful (if you are seriously concerned about becoming addicted) is to keep a log or journal each and every date or time that you take this medication and state how you are feeling at the time you take each dose. In my opinion, this consciously helps you maintain control of your intake of the med and the duration it is being taken for. It can also be used to measure any b...
hi....i am a severe pill popper...generally 20-25 percocet a day...i usually buy suboxone from a friend for when my percs run out, but she no longer has them... suboxone makes me feel better actually than the percs...i need to go on suboxone every day and stop playing around with the percs...but i have no health insurance ...i live in mass and my husband was layed off 4 months ago...does anybody know of any options ? i would really appreciate it ## Suboxone is very expensive and only available from certain doctors that are specially trained in its use. Have you considered possibly seeking treatment with Methadone? It is not as good as Suboxone, but there are many more treatment clinics available and it is much cheaper. A simple internet search will pull up places in your area that provi...
I jerk when taking suboxe does any one else have this problem? ## I've never taken Suboxone, but I have experienced that when taking other narcotics, such as Oxycodone and Morphine, especially when I'd lay down to sleep. Have you spoken to your doctor about it?
Hi I'm taking 4 80 Oxy a day I'm starting suboxin Thursday I just wanted to know if I will gain wieght? I really want to stop this bad addiction it's killing me & my pocket $$ but I DON'T want to gain wieght I will absolutely not be able to deal with that! If anyone knows please help? Also I have Wellbutrin so I was thinking if I take both maybe I'd lose wieght? Has anyone had any wieght loss or gain? Thanks! ## Usually, it is not the narcotics themselves that cause people to gain weight, but rather the fact that the person taking them tends to get more somnolent and sedentary, while they are being treated with them. Do you exercise regularly and watch your diet? If so, then you should be able to continue doing so, unless your doctor instructs you otherwise.
A few months ago I posted some concerns about the medication Suboxone. The side effects I had a few months ago are different now that I have been this drug for nine months. Started at three 8 mgs a day, never could take that much. I only take one 8 mg a day for about a month now. I am concerned, my body constantly hurts, headaches can be unbearable at times, depression can kick in also. This had been a wonder drug for me considering how much my life has changed in such little time, I feel human again. The problems I am having are due to the side effects, fatigue can be overwhelming sometimes. I don't want stay on this drug much longer, I am scared it will mess my brain chemistry up more so than it already is if I continue my dosage. I don't want to relapse and fear coming off of...
I'm 130lbs great metabolism and on subs but drank 24oz. X 4 of water now urine is clear last use Friday beginning Wednesday but have to be tested tomorrow on Monday will the sub be in my urine if I wash out the opiates? ## Being that Suboxone IS a semi-synthetic opioid, I would think that this is kind of a contradiction. Suboxone is also known to test false positives for other opioids, such as Oxycodone, in the cheaper less efficient drug tests. I would keep this mind and make sure you show the lab your prescription prior to any screening, just to be on the safe side. I hope this helps!
Is there any reason why putting suboxone in clean urine would come back pos for tramadol? Iv done it once before got a false pos for opiate but it came back from lab neg n straightened out. But this time it came back from lab pos for tramadol? No criticism pls its just a question pls either answer or move on. Thanks to helpfull answers ## On the cheaper, less reliable drug tests, it seems anything is possible. False positives are known to occur on them anywhere from 4 to 50% of the time. Suboxone has been reported by a number of users to come back positive as opiates, but coming back as tramadol is the first I've heard of. Tramadol is regarded as a synthetic opioid however, and with the accuracy of these tests I certainly wouldn't doubt the possibility. Explaining this to the la...
I have been taking 12mgs of Sub. for 2 mos., but I havent had any for 4 days and I hve a urine test at my sub. doctor tomorrow. Will there still be enough in my system to pass? ## The active narcotic in it, which is Buprenorphine, is usually detectable for approximately 4 to 5 days, after last dosing. However, even if it is detectable, what you may run into is not having the right levels in your body, which will alert them to a problem. How did the test go?
on oxys for 5 years for pain .a haze of 5 years of methadone and xanax for 6 years.to get off pills ..quit both cold turkey then suboxone for 5years my doc weined dwn back up twice. now im in pain and depresed and out of work afraid to tell my doc im in pain because of my past, but the truth is i know a lot about drugs i would b better off on a maintnenece pill of like 2 oxycodones a day and one zany.....really .....any advice?? ## Suboxone was designed for addicts originally but some pain suffers are taking it for pain that have problems with regular opiates. To take suboxone for pain it should be given 3 to 4 times a day. Like methadone for pain. The dosage your getting doesn't sound like its helping your pain. Are you sure your not just dependent on opiates? That's normal for...
I,ve started to taper off sub. and plan to be off it in a couple of months. I pay for sub. dr. visits because he doesn,t take my insurance. I do use my insurance at drug store for the filmstrips. I read someplace that if your useing your insurance to pay for the prescription that this will pop up red flags in the future when you need pain medication for a legimate reason. I am on subs. because of oxy abuse. I,ll be needing to have my knee replaced sometime in the future, I,m trying to put it off for a couple of years and I don,t want to be prescribed suboxone when I have surgery done. Every time I go to a DR. are they gonna look at there computer and see I,ve been on subs. for abuse? I go to a private sub.DR. not my regular one. ## Red flags pop up, when you are doing such things as get...
