i was prescribed suboxone strips 2 weeks ago and my counselor who is not the prescribing doctor sent in a urine sample to test the levels to see if i was abusing my medication. now i cant remember how many i took certain days, most of the time i only take a half at a time and maybe 2 sometimes three times a day, so technically i am suppose to take 16mg a day and i am really only doing half that. so i would like to know if i was taking it for 7 days and also 9 days how much mg should be in my system if i was taking 16 mg a day as prescribed. ## There are many factors that go into figuring out what your levels should be, such as your overall health, your metabolism, physical activity and etc. It's not just the prescribed amount and the dosage interval and the details for figuring such...

Hello. I am going to my 1st appointment to a Dr. That prescribes Suboxone to try to get my life under control. I have been taking just about any pain killer pill I can get my hands on for about 6 or 7 years now, mostly hydros, roxis and oxys. Last night I took 3 10mg hydros over a 4 hour period from 8-midnight. This morning I took 1 10mg hydro just to be able to get up and go to work for a few hours before my appointment. My question is how will the doctor react when I tell him? I took them last night because it had been almost 24 hours and I was w/d bad and was trying to take care of my newborn son. i have spinal stenosis.pelvic anflamatory,mytrovalve prelaspe,epilepsy.bulging disc and herniated disc gallbladder surgery which resulted in bile duct severed and had stent.gastric bypass which resulted in vental hernia,appendix,anxiety,gait and balance issues walking issues i would like to know what kind of pain medicine to take if i am getting suboxone.I chose suboxone because i didnt want to end up on oxcycontins but all these issues and with having arthitus and fibromyalgia i at a witts end ## In addition to the narcotic Buprenorphine, it also contains Naloxone, which neutralizes other opiates to prevent their abuse while someone is under treatment with it. So, you can't add any other narcotic, you'd have to stop taking it for a few days, before you could try something else....

I have been on 8mg Suboxone sublingual 2 times a day for the past 12 days and I am still throwing up some days and nauseated badly always. I have really awful indigestion and everytime I belch which is constantly, a little vomit comes up.Is this normal and what can I do? I know it takes a few days to get used to the drug, but throwing up everything defeats the purpose. I take Suboxone as an alternative to opiates for chronic back back pain. ## Have you tried taking it with a small meal and not on an empty stomach? I took suboxone 4 days ago and have to take a urine test in 3 am I ok or screwed?? help!!! ## So, you mean there'll be a 7 day span between when you last took it and the test? Ive been on suboxin for just over a year. ive never had an acne problem before but in the last 6 months im always breaking out. has anyone else had this problem. ## I've never taken Suboxone, but I have had it happen with both Oxycodone and Morphine. I've been doing 10 bags of heroin a day for a while now. I got my hands on 6 - 8mg tablets of Suboxone. I planned on waiting the full 24 hours as recommended, but I woke up at 730am feeling violently ill. It happened to be the 19th hour. I felt this was sufficient enough time, plus I had to go to work. I took a full tablet, and have felt pretty good all day up until 5pm today. My question is when is the next time I should take another dose and how much?? ## I can't really say what the dosage is that you should take, it is normally carefully calibrated by a doctor, taking into consideration how much you were using of the drug(s) that was being abused. If one 8mg tablet worked well and you weren't experiencing withdrawals, then that is probably the right amount to go with, but...

Hello people!I ran across these discussions looking for an answer about me being able to pick my Suboxone refill up at a pharmacy out of state?Its w the same chain jus dif state.My logic is I can bc it isn't a scedule 2 controlled substance and its in their computers 4da refill needing to be pikt up while I am away on vacation. I've already discussed it w my prescribing drs office and they said the pharm should allow it bc of my reasoning. I wasn't fully aware of the detox from Suboxene!!I only take 4to8mg/day&when I dont have them for a few days I almost feel like I did coming off off Heroin!!How long will the detox from suboxene last?!? ## Suboxone contains the active ingredients Buprenorphine and Naloxone. Hi I'm so scared to totally come off suboxone.. I've been taking 8mg of subs for about 5 years .. I've never been prescribed them I just found them wherever I could. 3 weeks ago I went from 1-8mg a day to 1-4mg a day.. I was craving a little but no serious withdrawal symptoms.. Hi I live in northern new jersey clifton, rutherford, nutley area and need a good doctor that will prescribe suboxone so I can get off oxycontin. Went to one dr and she wouldn't take me on as a patient. She wanted me to titrate down to a very low dose. I take 3 80mg oxy's a day and have been for many years. I have been prescribed some form of hydrcodone for the last 7 years, my tolerance now is so high im taking 60+ per day for the last 2 years. My life is almost ruined and i want it back. I was on subixone treatment under a doctors care. I had to stop because im in drug court. I took 1Mg to slow down withdraws. Will it show up 2 days later on bupernorphine stick test? ## Yes, it likely will if they are looking for it and such a test usually looks for even low doses of it, since it isn't commonly used in very high ones. Hey all....a little history about myself. I have been on suboxone for almost 2 years 16 mg a day. My purse got stolen which had my medication in it, I immediately filed a police report but with multiple calls to the insurance company, the pharmacy, and my doc I didnt have any luck getting an early refill. It takes one week for a police report to get approved so therefore was not able to receive a copy of it to get the refills, although I gave them the police report number it was not sufficient enough. My question is I have been taking a 30mg oxy a day to help with withdraws and let me tell you they have been kicking my ass. I get my refill this Saturday if I resume my regular dose will I go into PW since I've been taking the oxy for 8 days. I have not taken any other opiates besides...
