I've been on trazodone for 2 weeks but quit taking it 24 hours ago. Is it safe to take melatonin now? ## According to the University of Maryland Medical Center (umm.edu / drug interaction tool) there are no interactions listed between Trazodone and melatonin. Also, our bodies naturally produce melatonin at night. So if there were to be an interaction, no one would be able to take their Trazodone at night or while napping in a dark room. I'm not trying to sound facetious, but in my honest opinion there really shouldn't be any problem with this combination, otherwise Trazodone would be rendered useless for all humans.

Can you get ethchlorvynol today? If so, under what name? That’s as detailed as I can get. ## The Ethchlorvynol drug monograph here on MedsChat, states that "Ethchlorvynol is a GABA-ergic sedative and hypnotic/soporific medication that was developed by Pfizer back in the 1950's. In the United States it was sold by Abbott Laboratories under the tradename Placidyl. Abbott discontinued production in 1999, after which Placidyl was available for about a year in the United States. It is no longer prescribed in the United States due to unavailability, but it is still available in some countries and would still be considered legal to possess and use with a valid prescription." As to which countries still carry Ethchlorvynol, this remains a mystery to me. However, I hope the inf...

I just cant sleep and have been to the doctor, but got no results from these temazepam caps. ## What else have you tried? Benzodiazepines, such as Temazepam, are usually only prescribed as a last resort, after all other options have failed, so no doctor is going to prescribe them to treat insomnia as the first choice. The first thing they will want you to try is what they call good sleep hygiene, which includes no stimulants after 3pm, no alcohol, in bed by 11pm, up by 8am and etc. ## Really? My mom let me try one of hers while on a girls trip, I went back to my doctors and told him that and i got a script. They help me so I dont wake up evervy few hours ## Temazapam is a great drug. Have been taking Ambien and am experiencing vision problems, tired eyes, flashes, and blur. ## Hello, Girlcat! How are you doing? Yes, Ambien has been known to cause such problems as side effects in some people that take it. I suffered similar effects from it. Have you consulted your doctor? You might need to try a different medication. ## I have been getting these similar eye problems since taking ambien. It's not happening when I take it at night, it's the next day or night! It's hard to explain but it seems like when I look up, I get a dizzy feeling and everything gets blurry for a minute! It also seems to make my head hurt right between my eyes when this happens. I noticed this last time I have a script for it. I had actually forgotten about it because its been a while s...

Is it safe to take 2mg lunesta after taking 37mgs of oxicodon throughout the day?sc ## Is it safe to take lunesta 3mg. four hours after taking one dose of fioricet or must I wait longer ## Ask you doctor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ## Taking them together could result in your experiencing more severe side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, and sedation. Thus you should only do so, if they have both been prescribed for you, according to FDA information. It is best to be cautious, in such cases, since too much sedation could be dangerous, or fatal. I have suffered chronic insomnia for over 30 years and now my current doc will not prescribe any hypnotics at all. I used to rotate 3/4 meds to avoid tolerance, on the advice of a previous, much more understanding GP. He would script me triazolam, quinalbarbitone (now called Secobarbital) or the combo Tuinal, methaqualone and flunitrazepam 2mg. I am looking for a source of TOQUILONE, made by Medichemie, Switzerland, which is precisely the same as the old, now withdrawn, drug MANDRAX. 250mg of methaqualone plus 25mg diphenhydramine. Probably the best, fastest acting sleeper I ever had, ensuring at least my 8 hrs per night. I know it's prescribed in several countries & costs about €10/25.
