Is colodopine a sleeping pill and if so what is a typical dose? ## I'm sorry, were you meaning to ask about Klonopin? The name is misunderstood frequently. If so, it contains the active ingredient Clonazepam, which is a benzodiazepine that is used to treat anxiety, nervous disorders, some severe cases of insomnia. However, the dosage can vary from person to person. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and irritability.

Does anyone know what store makes this brand, it works GREAT & I can't remember where I got it... Thanks~ Sleepless in Georgia... ## Hi Sonya, Don't mean to disappoint, but based on my research there are no sleep aids being marketed by the name of "guardian nighttime sleep aid", "guardian sleep aid", or any other variation of those words. This is not to say that they don't exist, but if they do, they certainly aren't being marketed in a way that makes them easily accessible to the public eye. Do you recall whether it was some form of homeopathic remedy or something only available at health food stores? Any other specific details on the packaging/label might also help to narrow down our search... Thanks! ## Yes it's sold by Dollar Tree stores!! I b...

Hello Does anyone have any information about Restonite Zoldpidem -ip. manufactured by Leeford healthcare LTD? India Thanks ## I think they are pretty good. ## My husband and I tried several at a time because we did not feel any effect at all. I used others and they work fine. So I went online and ordered $96 worth of 10 mg. generic Ambien. I received white long pills from Leeford Healthcare LTD that claimed to be Zolpedem from Restonite. I took only one. Got some Hemitatrate Zolpidem in Mexico. Small round coated yelow tablets. No imprint. Is this also generic Ambien? ## These are 100% FAKE. They are actually Cyclobenzaprine/Flexeril. They take the stickers off the Cyclobenzaprine bottles and put on a new FAKE sticker that says something like zolpidem. What does your bottle say? ## In my opinion, the only safe and trustworthy way to verify the presence specific ingredients is to have the contents of each tablet analyzed by a lab and/or drug panel. Without a marking on the pill, we could keep guessing what it is till the cows come home. However, if you run a search here on MedsChat for "Zolpidem Hemitartrate", there are a couple other related discussion threads here that share a similar depiction. Looking forward to reading any a...

I'm on a sleeping pill called Dormonoct 2mg. Can it still work on your system even after taking 50mg Naltima (Naltrexone)? ## Dormonoct is listed as containing Loprazolam, it is related to benzodiazepines, so there shouldn't be a problem, since Naltrexone only blocks opiates. The NIH does warn that it carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, and irritability. Is there anything else I can help with?

I remember these from the 60s, when we took anything and everything. Now I'd just like to get some sleep that lasts for more than 5 minutes. My drug abuse as a teenager left me hypersensitive to most drugs, even OTC stuff. Something that works the first time is quickly ineffective and actually has the opposite effect: wide awake, wired, terrible waking nightmares. These new benzos gave the drug companies new products to patent, but are of little value for serious insomnia. ## How about Placidyl? I couldn't think of the name until I read Steven Tyler's book, "Does the Noise in my Head Bother You?" Did this sleep med also get thrown on the scrap heap in favor of alprazolam and its mamby-pamby cousins? ## Yeah, I remember the jelly reds and greens. Haven't heard any...

A friend of mine is giving chloral hydrate to her 8 month old child because of insomnia and apparant night terrors. It is my understanding that this is a very dangerous sedative and should not be given to children without RN supervision. Is this true?? ## Well the monograph does list a certain dose as safe for use in children, however, it is virtually impossible to say that an 8 month is having night terrors and you should NEVER give any prescription drug to a child without doctor's approval and monitoring. This is a very dangerous drug and giving it to a child that young, who is still developing could cause disastrous effects. Not to mention the fact that if this was prescribed for her, or someone else and not the child, then what she is doing is illegal and could be considered chi...

I received what I thought was ambien 10mg. A white oblong tablet with the word SAFE embrossed on one side nothing on the other. I have never seen it this way before. ## There have been several reports of people receiving these pills as Ambien from foreign sources, mainly the Philippines, however, we've been unable to confirm this. It can be difficult, with foreign medications, since they are not as strictly regulated and are not required to log their imprints, like companies that are approved to sell their medications in the U.S. and Canada. Is anyone familiar with this tablet? ## I too have received this "SAFE" imprinted white oblong tablet three times. Twice with the name of Ativan written below the barcode on the labeled bottle and once with Stilnox in that same place. It...
