I purchased epitrel at Cabo and can't read the instructions in spanish. How do you apply and how long to use leave it on your face? ## Epitrel contains the active ingredient Tretinoin, it's Retin-A. It is mostly used to treat severe acne. The directions say: Apply a very thin layer, at night, before bed. You only need to use a very small amount. I am very sorry that people have had problems with accutane but for me it was a miracle drug. I had severe acne as a teenager and still was suffering in to my late 20's. The self esteem issues that this caused were extreme. At age 27 I went on accutane and my acne was cured! My son and niece also used accutane and did not go through the bullying I went through because of acne. I am sad that this drug is off of market and no longer an option for severe acne sufferers. ## I'm very glad that it worked so well for you and other family members, but it did cause some severe problems and that's why it was removed from the market. i would like to know if there is anybody in here who got pregnant just 30 day or less after the last dose of accutane ,or anybody who could give me real facts about how long accutane really stays in the body,i got pregnant exactly 29 day after my last dose and i'm really scared cuz i want to have this baby but i need to be sure he/she will be fine ## Well, you are supposed to prevent yourself from becoming pregnant for a full 30 days after your last dosage, so that would lead me to believe that it can still cause some problems for at least that long, after finishing it. My daughter was prescribed accutane on 2 separate occasions at age 16. She is now 26 and for the past 3 years we have had her go to every doctor, specialist possible. Blood works always seems to be ok . She can not keep weight on her joint always ache she has had bone growth issues,( Left side Jaw has become larger) . She now has a recurrence of cystic (mild) acne coming on. She goes out in the sun and never tans. We have checked her for everything and they say she is fine. That's my daughter and she suffers. when I was a child in the baby booms days and at that time it was a common problem with a lot of the young people, it was at that time called boils. There was a drug at that time by prescription called sulfur tablets and it would treat the problem and it really worked without having to torture yourself by puncturing the head of the boil. Is there still a medicine that treats simular problems of the same conditions, that contains sulfur. I sure hope there is because I am having a problem with the something of the simular outbreak. What are the current thoughts on the use of accuzyme as a topical debrider for a wound with high bioburden? ## Accuzyme is very very good. it debrides 90% faster than collagenase. you must know when to stop using it. never had apatient who reacted to it. wound closure is way faster. less pain for the patient. will use it anytime over collagenase, which works like a snail. panafil very very very good for fot ulcers.

Betadine ointment-- can it be bought over the counter ? ## Hi Musharuka, Betadine ointment appears to be readily available over the counter and online on amazon for only a couple bucks here in the US. Does your local pharmacy just not carry it? If not, I'm pretty sure amazon and various other retailers ship overseas. I hope this helps!
