About Side Effect Of Taking Sensa When Prograf

I had a kidney transplant aug 2011, I gain a lot of weight and thinking of taking sensa to help me loose weigh. Currently I'm taking Myfortic, prograf. Is it safe to use Sensa?.

Sensa is an over the counter natural product that's claimed to help with weight loss, the listed active ingredients are Maltodextrin and Tricalcium Phosphate.

As a natural supplement it has not been tested for possible interactions with actual medications, or medical problems.

so, in regards to using it, I can really only advise that you talk to your doctor first, for your own safety. They should be able to advise you of the safest and most effective ways for you to lose weight.

I'm reluctant to say it should be safe, since it seems to be benign, when I am not familiar with may complicate matters with these medications and your kidney surgery.
