I have been using gelmicin for a couple years now for my acne. It helps get rid of pimples more quickly. However, I do not recommend using it. I started getting addicted to it and used it for all my pimples. It caused excessive hair growth on my face. I recommend using only in moderation. It also causes redness to skin.

I would like to use evion tablet as internal, regularly. Is there any problem there? I am 69 years old. My creatinin range is 3.20 -3.50 and bolld urea level is 75. My doctor has prescribed me to take Revlamer 400, 3times a day & Neprosave, 2 times a day together. Is it needed to take the both together or not? Kindly advise.

What is the difference in the Ichthammol you buy from the vet and the Ichthammol you buy from the drug store? ## Hello, Monk! How are you? Most likely there isn't any difference. Many of them are exactly the same and even made by the same manufacturers. That's why you can take veterinary prescriptions to your regular pharmacy to have them filled. You just shouldn't take anything limited to just veterinary use, or give your dog anything that's not intended to be used in canines. This one is usually used topically, so the most common side effects, in both canines and people, may include skin redness, irritation, dryness and rash, as listed by the FDA. I am so happy to find this site. I have read many negative things about accutane and from many close friends some serious side effects from the drug. Sadly even a suicide. I took my 15 yo son to a dermatologist today to see if there were some treatments for scarring. I explained to her that I was NOT interested in accutane. She treated me like some uneducated mother who was causing her child long lasting distress from scarring. She brushed off the side effects and continued to tell my son how unhappy he would be if he didn't take accutane. That it would effect his future and his life in a negative way. I am infuriated, he has never been overly concerned about his acne. So angry. It was nice to come here for reassurance about my decision. I appreciate people taking the time to speak ...

Can Fluocinide cream 0.05 be used around the rectum for itching? ## Hello, Sharon! How are you? You should not use it for that, unless your doctor has specifically prescribed it to treat it. There are some other conditions that this steroid may worsen, if they are what's causing the itching. What was it prescribed for? ## I used it for hemorrhoids (only on the outside) and it makes hemorrhoids go away fast.

Hi.....Doctor, My doctor advised to take daily a tablet Nefrosave, since I am a patient of DM type 2 & HTN for the last 9 years ...my blood uric acid,creatinine,urea nitragen, lipid profile all normal in range but HTN sometimes 160/85 go & my HbA1C is 8.5. Taking medicines for DM like Galvus Met 50/1000mg = 2 times, Amaryl 3mg = 2 times, 1time Acrose(Glucobay 50mg) just started, for HTN drugs like Co-Diovan 160mg/12.5 1 time, Amlor (amldopine)10mg 1 time, Concur 5mg 1 time, Lipicure 10mg 1 time. I am currently debating whether or not to have my son start taking this drug. He is an athlete Basketball, football and baseball and I heard there is a lot of joint pain with this medication. He is 15 and I do not want to feel that giving the Dermatologist permission to prescribe this pill will later in life ruin his athletic potential. I have read the "possible side effects" however we have tried several things and this would be our last resort. I feel that my son is self conscience last year he did not want to swim, the acne is starting to scar his back, shoulders, and face. What else can I possibly do except allow him to try absorica? I'm just so concerned about the side effects. What are really the percentages of side effects in people? i.e. joint pain, depression, etc. ...

I am only two weeks into accutane (absorica) only on 20 mg. I am thinking of getting a tattoo within the next couple of days. is it safe to get one that soon into the treatment? ## Hello, Katie! How are you? You shouldn't have any tattoos done, while taking Accutane. It can interfere with healing and increase the risk of your developing severe scar tissue, which could mess up a tattoo. The FDA lists the other typical side effects of Accutane as possibly including nausea, joint pain, skin infection, skin rash, nosebleeds and blurred vision. Is there anything else I can help with?

Others, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include nausea, anemia, depression, headache and dry eyes. Have you discussed these issues with your doctor?

My daughter took accutane 6 months ago and is now having problems with her vision, her eyes get really tired easily and burn, also she is feeling depressed all the time, and she is also tired all the time. Has anybody found any resolve for fatigue induced by accutane? It's been years since I've been off, and I'm so exhausted all of the time. Anybody else suffer from exhaustion? ## Hello, Eric! How are you doing? I am sorry that you're suffering from such fatigue. However, are you certain that it is due to treat he Accutane? Has this been medically confirmed? There are many other issues that can cause it, so you need to have it checked out to be sure. You may have some other medical issue going on that requires treatment. ## I do. I took acutane for 7 years, never thought about the relation with acutane and chronic fatigue... We'd probably never know...

I am on about week four of epiduo. I went to the derm with about three cysts. He told me o your acne is not that bad. And gave me a prescription for epiduo and doryx. At about day 7 I had to quit the doryx I could barely stand up. I stuck through with the epiduo and was prescribed kephlex as an antibiotic. I have prob been on the antibiotic for 2 and a half weeks and as I said the epiduo for about four. My face is freaking out! I have called out of work twice for pain and irritation. I also look like I am engulfed in pimples from my nose down and around. I take 600 mg of Advil three times away but it's still painful.
