My local pharmacies do not have this med. I have a prescription and cannot get it filled. When will it be available? ## Hello, Tina! How are you? The FDA classifies this as topical glucocorticoid steroid and it's not commonly used. It might be easiest to speak to your doctor about prescribing an alternative medication that would be easier to find. Another idea is that if you have a pharmacy you use regularly, you could try asking them to order it in for you. Since it is used topically, the side effect are usually related to that and may include skin irritation, redness, itching and acne. Is there anything else I can help with? ## No, Thanks

They are from Mexico a red and white pill, I got them for acne but I don't know what the side effects are, and what it is really for. ## Hello, Jonathan! How are you? Dicloxacillin is classified by the FDA as being an antibiotic. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. However, you shouldn't take anything that your doctor hasn't prescribed for you. Is there anything else I can help with?

can clobetasol propionate cream be used for scars and age spots ## Hello, Stephani! How are you? Clobetasol is classified by the FDA as a corticosteroid, so no, it shouldn't be used for anything, unless your doctor has prescribed it to treat that. In some cases, it could actually worsen some skin conditions, rather than helping them. Its typical side effects are listed as possibly including skin burning, itching, acne and redness. Is there anything else I can help with?

large oval white pill with NC on one side and nothing on otherside ## Hello, JC! How are you? This is one of the over the counter Nature's Cure products. They make various homeopathic remedies for acne. Since they are over the counter, I'm not sure which one of their products this is, because they aren't required to list them in the databases. Does anyone recognize this one?

Hello I had a question on tretinoin cream about it hepling for post inflammatory hyperpigmentation does it really help. I have the 0.1% and all my acne is gone but im stucm with these red dark marks on my face. Im 19 years old brown skin ## Hello, David! How are you? Actually, if you were using it for acne, then the Tretinoin cream could have caused the hyperpigmentation. It has been known to do that, according to the FDA medication information sheet. Other side effects can include skin irritation, sun sensitivity and stinging. Thus, it might not be something you want to use to try to get rid of this, unless your doctor has instructed you to use it for that. What else do you use on your skin? ## hello david, you can used supatreat 0.04% gel for your red marks. it is good cream for acne ...

Hi, I took 2 courses of Accutane, several months each, years ago. I had to interrupt the second one because Accutane caused severe depression. Some 3 years later I got a neurological issue: my right hand dropped and I lost thumb extension. About a year ago my left hand got affected. I have mobility issues in both hands and severe muscle wasting in hands and forearms. I got diagnosed 1 month ago with MMN, multifocal motor neuropathy, a serious and progressive neuro-muscular disease. The cause is unknown, but I cannot help thinking Accutane caused all this. Now, I must know how to stop the damage and how to clean my system from Accutane, because there is no real, lasting treatment for my diagnosis.

As a Fumaderm user of over 2 years I hope this message helps . Having suffered from psoriasis (severe) for over 35 years and having tried all types of creams, light treatments , cyclosporin and methotrexate I've found Fumaderm to be the most effective treatment yet . Obviously this treatment won't suit everyone but in my case it has almost completely eradicated the problem and allowed me to live a normal life again . The side effects for me were stomach cramps , hot flushes coupled with red face and stinging facial skin and eyelids . All of these died down over time with just an occasional hiccup . The flushes, cramps and stinging skin would normally last approximately 30 minutes before easing off . These days it is rare for me to have any problems but I would take the side effe...

Hi there, so I'm a 17 year old girl and I want to take accutane, I spoke to my dermatologist and he agreed (due to my bad and oily skin) that I should take accutane. I am not planning on taking birth control pills and I understand what the risks are and I am not sexually active in anyway and I'm not planning to be so here is my question and what I'm currently struggling with: I have the pills (accutane) and I'm supposed to be taking them like 2 weeks ago but I never did because I haven't gotten my period since September! And in supposed to take them after my last period but i never got it this month so?!?! It could be the sudden weight loss and exercises? Or the stress of school? I don't know but I just want to know if it's okay to start accutane if I didn...

Does nitrofur macr 100 mg help to reduce acne? I know it is a medication to help urinary infection. ## Hello, Jess! How are you? It may help some, but it's generally not the preferred antibiotic to treat severe acne. The antibiotic of choice is Doxycycline. Its typical side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Did your doctor prescribe it for you? Or are you just looking for an acne solution? ## Yes, I'm looking for a better solution to treat acne. Thanks! ## You've very welcome! I'd suggest asking your doctor about trying Doxycycline for it. My nephew had severe acne and taking a low dose of it daily, for several months, is what finally cleared it up of him. Are there any other questions or concerns? ## It sounds like a g...

Hi. I am a 34 danish guy, who were on accutane, between the age of 18 and 25. Now, 16 years later, I am still suffering a great deal from psychological side effects from these horrible pills. I am very, very sure of that. And I am extremely motivated to go and collect as much "evidence" together as possible. I could probably list a total of 15 side effects, I still struggle with after accutane. Half of those would be psychological. The worst of those are, anxiety and a "numb" brain. People who have the same after accutane, knows what I mean about having a numb brain. Here is where I really need your help. I am looking for others, who have taken accutane and afterwards has struggled - and more importantly - still struggles with psychological issues. It would be a great help

Has anyone been on Accutane for a long term low dose regimen? I read that some people have taken only 20-40mg/wk for like 20 years for psoriasis, eczema, and other skin diseases but not for acne. I think I even read someone using ultra low dose regime for oil control. I am considering this treatment. This regimen is more common in Europe from what I read. ## What has your doctor advised? Accutane is very hard to get and use, in the U.S. and there is a very good reason for that. This medication contains the active ingredient Isotretinoin and it has been shown to be a severe Teratogen, so it can cause severe birth defects to any future children you may have. Learn more: There are other side effects it can cause that can also be permanent, such as alopecia and IBS. ## From my experience......

Can I use this on my acne I have bad acne onmy checks and four head and ive tried everything . Does it work? Is it safe ? Please help im desperate for a cure ## Hello, Mike! How are you? I'm sorry about the acne problem you're having. No, Quadriderm actually would not be good to use for acne. One of its active ingredients is Betamethasone, which is a steroid class medication and they can actually cause acne as a side effect, as well as dry skin and skin irritation. Have you ever tried just a regular antibiotic? Your doctor should be able to prescribe one that may help, if you've exhausted all other remedies. Some acne is bacterial in nature and Doxycycline is often prescribed to help treat it. It may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, diarrhea and non-allergic sk...

Gray and white used or acne ## Hello, Patty! How are you? That's not a lot to go on, but it might be Doxycycline, it's the one most commonly used to treat it. Clindamycin is also used. Do either of those sound familiar? Side effects to these antibiotics may include nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.

And is it called something else here that I should ask for? I've used it in the past for symptoms that have just come back. But being far from my Dr at home, I don't know if I need to see one here, or can just walk into a pharmacy. What is Desonide called, and what are the rules here in Greece?

What color is the discharge and what does it look like? If it has an odor, then it sounds like it could be a bacterial infection and you'll need to see your doctor for an antibiotic.
