How are you all doing? The tablet with the 93 890 marking contained 100mgs of Propoxyphene and 650mgs of Acetaminophen, it was a generic for Darvocet. You can see here in these details, that it was discontinued in 2010 due to the risk of overdose it caused, and the fact that it could cause cardiac dangers, so the risks were found to outweigh any possible benefits it might provide. It was very mild in its pain relieving effects, anyway, so it didn't help a lot of people. Are there any other questions?

If this made your pain worse, then clearly it isn't the proper medication for you, please speak to your doctor. This mild med is perfect for me and doesn't make me throw up like other pain meds. This med was VOLUNTARILY taken off the market in the US, not actually banned. Propoxyphene is no longer sold in India or anywhere for that matter, as it has been proven to cause heart problems. Darvon/Darvocet is manufactured in India by a number of major pharmaceutical companies there. It's formula includes Paracetemol which is equivalent to acetaminophen, but more potent as an analgesic and less toxic, and also includes in the new formula, tramadol, also a pain reliever. It is manufactured to exactly resemble the same capsule that previously was sold as Darvon, and is very popularly sold and seems more effective. ## I'm sorry, but that is incorrect, there is no difference between Paracetamol and Acetaminophen, they are exactly the same.
