I have been on fentanyl patch for 10 yrs, and Roxicodone for break thru pain. I was in a car accident in 1998 and have had more issues since. My pain Dr. has decided that he will be following CDC guidelines for PCP's even tho it is a Pain clinic. Actually I think it's because I stopped lining their pockets, having useless procedures, facet injections, etc. I NEED to find a pain clinic,near Rockford Il, Naperville, Aurora. I live over an hour from these but in my small town there is none. I have been driving hrs. every mth., My daughter who has had Brain surgery is also a patient & is being cut also. Started with my pain management dr on oxycodone but wanted off because I have had addiction issues in the past but have been sober for 11 years. He put me on Butrans 10mg. One appt they would not let me see the dr because I was short on the copay (not even sure they can do that) so I went 1 week without. Low and behold they gave me a urine test that week even though I told them I had been off it 7 days and it would be negative. So they prescribed Butrans again and I am on my way. Of course I didnt feel it was working as well as the oxy, I didnt know what to expect. 2 appts later they tell me the second test came up negative as well (I had shown the PA the patch, I have lymphocytic colitis which has been in consistent flare up for 2 years...its like pee out of my butt, sorry for the desc...

I was given the kids liquid form of amoxicillin but please answer for pill form as well. Is it safe to take 1-2 (200mg) of ibuprofen while using the liquid or pill firm amoxicillin?? My need for the antibiotic was for strep throat and now that I've finished it my wisdom teeth are coming through, so I'd prefer to take ibuprofen for the pain of these teeth coming through. I had a massive headache/migraine and was admitted to the ER Friday afternoon, dosed with morphine around 5 pm and again around 7pm prior to discharge to home. The great thing is that this awful headache resolved within about 6 hours of the last dose; it was the worst I ever had, after two weeks of stiff neck and dull headaches. I will be following up with a neurologist due to my prior history of cervical fusion surgery and rotator cuff tear in left shoulder, and now, evidence of nerve damage or rotator involvement in the right shoulder. I rarely take pain meds because I don't like the way they make me feel; I have managed pain before with tramadol 50 mg. I would like to know if I need to discuss this in a pre-employment drug panel before hand or stop donating plasma? I never donate...

What is a white round pill marked and scored on one side only (1800 with a fancy V at the top)? ## Hi Naganama, I located a round white pill with a fancy V below a score line and the numbers 0031 above it. On the back side it is blank. Is there any chance that the marking could've been misinterpreted depending on the pill's condition and which way it was being held? If this did turn out to be a match then it would be identified as a 500mg acetaminophen tablet, made by Qualitest. For verification, the pill itself is reportedly 12.00 mm in size and carries a NDC of 00603-0268. An image of this pill can also be viewed by following the NDC link. And even if it's not a match, I think we can still point out that Qualitest is probably the manufacturer since they make other tablets ...

My doc has been prescribing me percocet 10 mg. And now he prescribed me oxycodone 5mg. Which is stronger? The percocet 10's i have been taking for almost 2 years and i told him that they wasn't working that's when he prescribed me the oxycodone 5'mg. And they aren't working either. I am taking pain medication for surgery's . Since the oxycodone 5'mg aren't working what should i ask for. Now hydrocodone doesn't agree with me. Since when did the pharmacies override a doctor's prescription to get a person's prescription refilled 1 day early? They call it the two day rule. The size of 1 30 mg pill is the shape of a little tiny chip and they are red. You can just touch one with your two fingers and it can go on the floor or go flying across the room! Even if you don't abuse them you can still come up short. The pharmacy will not fill them 1 day early without an OK TO REFILL THEM EARLY. All pharmacies in my area have such strict policies and being 57 yrs old and being on them for years, it can put you in withdrawal! Why don't the drug manufacturers make them bigger for us elder people to manage them better? I have a great doctor who takes good care of me and I still have to get an OK just because ...

it is a round white pill with 44 on the top and 104 on the bottom and nothing on the back ## Well, this is NOT Percocet, nor any type of prescription drug. This is an over the counter item containing 325mgs of Acetaminophen, a generic or store brand of Tylenol! Does it take longer for pills to get out of your system if you snort them? ## I would need to know what you are taking in order to tell you the length of time it stays in your system. I took a norco at 10am, then by 4pm I took a tylenol and I have to take another norco at 10pm. Is that safe? Do I have anything to worry about? ## What was the dosage of the Tylenol? Hello, I have been taking Norco 10/325 for several years for my back pain. OK I am currently 32 years old at the age of 13 I broke my ankle. Since then I have broken them between them both a total of 15 times. The most recent time was January of this year I broke my left ankle in 3 areas it resulted in me having 3 surgeries one to put plates in and at that time I contracted mrsa 2nd one was for a cleaning I also had to have a picc line placed and the 3rd was to take the plates out.
