Hi Naganama,
I located a round white pill with a fancy V below a score line and the numbers 0031 above it. On the back side it is blank. Is there any chance that the marking could've been misinterpreted depending on the pill's condition and which way it was being held?
If this did turn out to be a match then it would be identified as a 500mg acetaminophen tablet, made by Qualitest.
For verification, the pill itself is reportedly 12.00 mm in size and carries a NDC of 00603-0268. An image of this pill can also be viewed by following the NDC link.
And even if it's not a match, I think we can still point out that Qualitest is probably the manufacturer since they make other tablets with a strikingly similar description as yours; in which case I'd recommended contacting Qualitest directly to find out more specific details.
