Maybe someone can be of help to my Elderly parent. My parent, who is prescribed 15mg generic Percocet for chronic pain in her joints is having a hard time finding a pharmacy that has the medication on hand. Quality of life is greatly improved by the proper use of this important medication. Without it, quality of life is greatly diminished. The medicine is a God send, provided the prescription be filled in a timely manner. It seems as though nobody wants to carry it. Most often, it has to be ordered and the time it takes for it to come in throws everything off schedule. No elderly man or woman should have to suffer 24 hours a day from pain when modern science and medicine has medication to alleviate the EXCRUCIATINGLY sharp pains that accompany every moment while awake and being awakened...

Around 7pm today I started experiencing UTI like symptoms. This time last year, 2/15/16, I was also treated for a UTI and was prescribed phenazopyridine and sulfamethoxazole. I was waiting an hour while drinking glasses and glasses of water before I knew it was a UTI. Once I determined it was, I had one of each of my old prescriptions, until I can go pick up a new one tomorrow morning. However, the phenazopyridine doesn't seem to be relieving my symptoms, and the pain when I urinate is getting worse. My urine is also yellow, not orange. Even from the beginning to now. Is it because the prescription is just over a year old? Any suggestion? I found a white round un-coated tablet, about 1mm in diameter. It has DRA imprinted on one side and a score on the other side. Im just curious as to what it is as I have never seen anything like it before, I initially thought it was a stray tylenol because of its plain appearance. ## That's a children's Dramamine pill. It contains 25mgs of Dimenhydrate, it is used to treat or prevent motion sickness and vertigo. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including dizziness, drowsiness, and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have a bunch of little white pills that say P 10. It almost looks like the P is in bubble letters and a 10 under nothing on the other side. I was prescribed hydrocodone apap 10-325 (yellow pill with 10 36 on it) for back pain. However, I have severe allergies with a bad cough and i noticed that after taking this pill for a few days, my allergies symptoms were greatly improved. My cough was gone. Nothing else has ever helped my allergies. Is this possible?

Just curious if kratom causes a false positive for any illegal substances? ## No it will not. After my hurting back in a head on car accident, it's getting worse as I age. I am a senior citizen, out of shape now...I was going to a PC Dr in a local clinic for years, was getting fed up with their tactics, mistakes, cancelled appts at last minute, etc. TWICE I went into WITHDRAWAL for vicodin whilst waiting for script as such renewed every month when my Doctor was out of town on family emergency... Since last Thursday i'm now going to a local hospital's Outpatient center. My reg doc has had me on hydros since 09. He recently sent me to a pain specialist who put needles in my spine. The PS gave a Rx of ibuprofen equivalent to 4 reg ibuprofen... I am in more pain now than before. Should I go back to my reg doc to be weaned off of these? I am suffering a migraine, fever, shaking, and my heart feels like it beating out of my chest. The man I give care to has had a fentanyl patch on consistently for 2+ years. For the last 3 months he has tested NO fentanyl in his urine! These specimens were taken WHILE he was wearing his patch. I've been on the OxyContin 40mg 1 tab 3x day for about 15 yrs. 3 years ago my insurance took it off their Formulary list. 1st Year my doctor got the insurance to approve it. Last year I was put on the Opana which made me sick, throwing up every time I took it. The insurance approved me again to the OxyContin. This year it was denied so I am on the Nucynta ER 200mg 2x's a day. I have had 2 Cervical Fusions leaving me with a plate & 15 screws in my neck. I've had a Reverse Right Shoulder Replacement. I take norco 7.5/325 and every time I test for it it's not there. Can you help me with an answer? ## Maybe it's because you truly are not taking it!!! Maybe it is a placebo. Is there anybody around that has access to your meds? If so they can be replacing them with look a like pills & taking the real ones without your knowledge. If you do have somebody that possibly could be taking them wait about 1 wk after you get new script & take the pills to a different pharmacy & have them checked..Maybe your pharmacist is giving you the placebo pills/which are usually nothing but sugar pills. I am new here in eastern nc. I have had more than 15 hip surgeries and I am looking for a really good pain management dr who will listen and feel what your going through. Not judge you cause of what your on. I am not looking for no more or less on pain meds. Also I have had 2 spinal fusions and my other hip replaced. I also have sphyndholestisis. In my thoracic. I'm on diazepam and hydrocodone. I went to the hospital where they gave me a shot of Dilaudid and my drug screen urine came back today that I was on Oxycodone. Does Dilaudid show up as Oxycodone, because I don't take Oxycodone? ## I don't know, but a similar thing happened to me. I came up posit ive for oxy but only took my dilaudid and fentanyl.
