Why can my DR. not prescribe the HYdrocodone apap 10/660 .reason being i was on it for about 7 years with no side affects and could stop taking it anytime with no problems. The narco 10/325 i have to take twice as many to git the same results, and have constipation problems. ## In Jan 2014, the FDA required manufactuers to limit the amount of tylenol in prescription meds to no more than 325 mgs. They no longer make a med rx with 660 mg tylenol. ## @Rocky, BL is right about the new law limiting the amount of acetaminophen to 325mgs. However to my knowledge there are safer alternatives to acetaminophen (such as Curcumin/Turmeric root) with studies showing that it's as effective as other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs but without side effects when taken as directed. I've been taking norco 10-325 for approximately 1 1/2 years due to a herniated disc. I had a laminecty and partial discecty this morning. I was prescribed Percocet 10-325 and Valium 5mg and was instructed to continue all previous medications. I was unsure about taking the norco and the Percocet both but the Percocet is not relieving the pain. Can I take them both. ## The risk of taking both is due to the Acetaminophen that they both contain, according to NIH reports, Acetaminophen toxicity risks causing fatal health conditions. Hi everyone, I am still on a progressing prootcol of Lyrica. I'm presently at 250mg a day.Till the Lyrica gets to the best pain management dosage, my doctor put me also on 6 acetaminophen (Tylenol) plus codeine a day. My question is "has anyone of you been able to completely get off the Tylenol and codeine after getting to the right dosage of Lyrica? I am a 38yo female. 120lbs. I just had my tonsils out today and am in some pain but not a lot... My Dr prescribed 2 Norco 7.5/325 every 6 to 8 hours for pain. I have found that 6 hours is a pretty long time for me... I even have a hard time with 4 hours.... And 2 pills are WAY too much... I'm good with one really, could probably cut that in half as it is... I'm wondering if I can take .5 to 1 every 3 hours instead of 2 every 6 hours? ## While this medication may work for severe pain, there is some amount of soreness that nothing is really going to relieve for awhile. Are the 325 10 rp better than the a3333? ## I live in south Florida & these are the common 10mg Percocets I've come across. The RP's are not effective at all, and are weak. the A333's are DESCENT for pain relief, and personally are OK. There shouldn't be a need to separate them, but without knowing what medication is involved, I can't say for sure. i live in nyc and i am on oxycodone 30 for severe pain. Where can i fill my prescription ata local pharmacy? ## I'm sorry, but we have no way of knowing what pharmacies carry any given medication. The only tip I can give you, however, is to actually go to the pharmacies, with your prescription in hand to ask. Due to the high risk of theft, most of them will just tell anyone that calls that they do not carry controlled substances. Maybe someone can be of help to my Elderly parent. My parent, who is prescribed 15mg generic Percocet for chronic pain in her joints is having a hard time finding a pharmacy that has the medication on hand. Quality of life is greatly improved by the proper use of this important medication. Without it, quality of life is greatly diminished. The medicine is a God send, provided the prescription be filled in a timely manner. It seems as though nobody wants to carry it. Most often, it has to be ordered and the time it takes for it to come in throws everything off schedule. Around 7pm today I started experiencing UTI like symptoms. This time last year, 2/15/16, I was also treated for a UTI and was prescribed phenazopyridine and sulfamethoxazole. I was waiting an hour while drinking glasses and glasses of water before I knew it was a UTI. Once I determined it was, I had one of each of my old prescriptions, until I can go pick up a new one tomorrow morning. However, the phenazopyridine doesn't seem to be relieving my symptoms, and the pain when I urinate is getting worse. My urine is also yellow, not orange. Even from the beginning to now. Is it because the prescription is just over a year old? Any suggestion? I found a white round un-coated tablet, about 1mm in diameter. It has DRA imprinted on one side and a score on the other side. Im just curious as to what it is as I have never seen anything like it before, I initially thought it was a stray tylenol because of its plain appearance. ## That's a children's Dramamine pill. It contains 25mgs of Dimenhydrate, it is used to treat or prevent motion sickness and vertigo. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including dizziness, drowsiness, and dry mouth. You may also run into a problem, if you go to a doctor and ask for a specific medication in a specific dosage. Doctors are taught to view that as being drug seeking behavior. I have a bunch of little white pills that say P 10. It almost looks like the P is in bubble letters and a 10 under nothing on the other side. I was prescribed hydrocodone apap 10-325 (yellow pill with 10 36 on it) for back pain. However, I have severe allergies with a bad cough and i noticed that after taking this pill for a few days, my allergies symptoms were greatly improved. My cough was gone. Nothing else has ever helped my allergies. Is this possible?

After my hurting back in a head on car accident, it's getting worse as I age. I am a senior citizen, out of shape now...I was going to a PC Dr in a local clinic for years, was getting fed up with their tactics, mistakes, cancelled appts at last minute, etc. TWICE I went into WITHDRAWAL for vicodin whilst waiting for script as such renewed every month when my Doctor was out of town on family emergency... Since last Thursday i'm now going to a local hospital's Outpatient center. My reg doc has had me on hydros since 09. He recently sent me to a pain specialist who put needles in my spine. The PS gave a Rx of ibuprofen equivalent to 4 reg ibuprofen...
