Could you explain the difference in these 3? ## There is no dosage available containing 350/500, that would be a very dangerous dosage of the Hydrocodone. The maximum dosage that is currently available in the U.S. contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. Past that the doses are lower, 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone/ 325 Acetaminophen, and 5mgs of Hydrocodone with 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Which one has your doctor prescribed for you?

My dr lied to me and said she was giving me 2mg and .5 of oral dilaudid. When I explained .5 didn't do s*** for me last night, she said she would up the doses so cold get some sleep. I was up till after 4 am crying for the last 3 weeks. ## Hello, Heather! How are you? There is no .5mg of oral Dialudid available in the U.S. The dosing starts at 2mgs. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. What do you feel your doctor lied about? I apologize, but I'm not understanding what you're asking. ## I usually take 8 mg dilaudid every 2-3 hours. By mistake I took two 8mg at the same time. I have been on one form or another of narcotics for many years due to a...
I have been taking oxycodone 30mg and hydrocodone 10/325 for a little over 7 years now because of a back injury. Everything has been Ok until I got my script this month, taking the 2 meds above have always worked ok on my pain and made it able to be awake and stay alert when I get to spend time with my little grandbabies even though we don't get to play that much because of my stupid back at least we get to spend time together!!!!! This last script though when I take my meds I'm wanting to pass out sleepy, no different company or pills. Why the change where I'm awake and can motivate and now want to pass out? ## Drowsiness can be a normal side effect of these medications, according to the FDA. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. ...
Hello, I was given Hysingla ER 30 mg once a day for pain but it only lasts 10 hours. Is this typical of this medication or is it a medication that needs to build up in you system over time? I really need some advice on this as I am really in pain. Thank you for your time, I appreciate it greatly. ## How long have you been taking it? It should last about 12 hours, but it can vary from person to person. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.
Hi, I am prescribed oxycodone HCL 10mg. This medicine helps a lot with my chronic pain but this time when I received my medicine it had this kind in my bottle; the ones with the np and 12 on it. When I take it, it has no affect on my pain. Can you tell me why? What do you recommend? ## I agree th np 12 oxycodone is not like the flat round ones. They do little for your pain and they are NOT immediate release. ## If I had to speculate on why it's not working as well, there could be a variety of factors influencing its efficacy either all at once and/or singularly at different points in time; be it our metabolism and how it changes throughout the day, our tolerance, weight, body chemistry, different inactive ingredients, less active ingredients used in different generics, etc, etc... I have RA and herniations of 4 disks with bone spurs off of 3 of my disks as well, I am in need of a physician that understands that there are legitimate people with documented conditions that require medications that help you live; not just survive. I am so depressed now, not just because of the pain; but because physicians treat you poorly; and as a drug seeker when they have diagnostic proof that you are in pain. I need any suggestions for a pain management physician near Atlanta, Ga ## I have a similar condition and have been seeing Dr C.B. Reddy in Griffin...about 30 miles south of Atlanta.... Shabby office, but great nurses and a doctor who not only genuinely cares about you, but listens to you...(most don't hear a word you say). He also bills only for the time that he sees yo...
I've been taking Endocet 10/325 (yellow oval) for a number of years for chronic back ailments...( dessicated discs). Several months ago almost every pharmacy stopped carrying them because their insurance companies would not cover the higher costs of them. After having tried Amneal with virtually no relief from them I am searching for any pharmacy in or near the Atlanta area that still carries them. Does anyone know of a pharmacy near or south of Atlanta where they are available? Any help greatly appreciated!
Updated in EndocetI am on tylenol #3 and I do not take anything else for pain. Not even a tylenol. I keep showing up for hydrocodone in my urine tests. I swear swear swear im not taking anything else. How is this possible? ## I take Tylenol 3's for pain. One of my blood test showed me to be positive for Oxycontin, what would cause a positives results when I don't take that medication ## I take Tylenol 3's for pain. I have 2 bottles of 10 Mg Oxycodone - Large White Round Pill Marked 106 With A - as well as a 10 Mg Oxycodone that's White Oval & Marked Ip204. What is the diff? ## There is no difference, both of these tablets contain 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, both generics for Percocet. They are just manufactured by different pharmaceutical companies. The imprints are different, because under federal law in the U.S. they have to able to identify the ingredients and the manufacturer, in case of emergency. So, each company that makes something has to use a different marking. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. which colors are strongest to weakest? white, yellow, or peach ## The yellow and white oblong tablets imprinted with NORCO over 539 on one side and blank on the other, reportedly contain a dosage of 10/325. I think the white version might've came after the yellow one, but both seem to carry the same National Drug Code of 52544-0539. I also located a peach and/or white oblong tablet with NORCO over 729 imprinted on one side and blank on the back that reportedly contain a dosage of 7.5/325. Lastly, there's a smaller 5mg/325mg Norco tablet that's white with red specks; imprinted with WATSON on one side and 913 on the other. Hope this helps!
I take oxycodone HCL 10 mg for severe I.C. pain. It is a small round pink pill. Is there any ASA or Acetaminophen in this pill? I am asking because I also have hydrocodon-Aceta 10-325mg and I think the Hydrcodon is causing some stomach discomfort. The oxycodone is for break threw at night and seems to not upset my stomach. ## What are the markings on the tablet in question? I'm sorry, but this additional information is needed, in order for it to be identified for you. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.
I have a friend here in Florida who's mother is still getting 80's original formula. I seen the bottle which was filled on 12/29. So idk if it's a Dr's request thing which they claim or pharmacy still has them left. But him and her says Dr had to request it on script. Idk I just know I seen them last month. Any truth to this?? ## The only way she would still be able to get the original ones, with the OC marking is if the pharmacy still had some in stock. The doctors request would have no effect, because the company that manufactures them, Purdue Pharma has stopped manufacturing the original, however pharmacies are allowed to continue to dispense the original, until they run out. It could be that the pharmacy she is using has a supply and is making it last, as long as pos...
What do you do when neither Oxycodone or Dilaudid work for severe lower back pain, due to disc & nerve damage from a fall. I was on Oxycodone for quite some time but apparently built up a tolerence for it, so my doctor switched me to Dilaudid...I have felt like crap all month because I am still in excruciating pain...is there anything left to try that is better than these wo? ## You might want to ask about trying the Fentanyl patch (Duragesic) or lollipop (Actiq). It is pretty much the most potent narcotic available, since it is over 80 times stronger than Morphine. Learn more Fentanyl details here. What was your dosage of Oxycodone and what is the dosage you were given of the Dilaudid? ## my oxycodone dose was 30mg 4 x a day for breakthrough pain. When that did not work anymore the...
I have been taking percocet on and off for about 16 years now due to chronic kidney stones. I attempted to taper off 10mg oxycodone and ended yesterday with only .5 in the morning and have felt like s***. No sleep last night, chills, goosebumps, nausea, diarrhea. This is even with tapering down. Should I just keep going cold turkey or get more to do a better taper?? ## Those are all normal withdrawal effects, as listed by the FDA. You may also experience fever and rebound pain. Stopping it after being on it for so many years is bound to cause you to experience some withdrawal symptoms and it may take a week or 2, before they taper off and then go away entirely. However, adding it back to do another taper would just be causing you to start over and you'd still be likely to experience...
I'm in so much pain with my legs and back, all I can do is lay in bed. Can I take Norco every 3 hours? ## You should not take it more frequently that your prescription directs. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. How often have you been directed to take it?
I'm trying to ascertain the length of time this pill is effective. Is it immediate release or extended release? ## This tablet is manufactured by KVK Teck and they list it as containing 5mgs of Oxymorphone in a regular release formulation, which means it takes about 15 to 20 minutes to start working, after taking it. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
Is the peach oval pill with 36 52 on it the same strength as a yellow watson norco? ## The orange tablet with the V 3605 marking contains 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, but the yellow name brand Norco tablet contains 10mgs of the Hydrocodone. This medication is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation and dizziness. Learn more Norco details here. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Hi scorpio530, I've identified pill ID "V 36 05" as Acetaminophen (325 mg) + Hydrocodone (7.5 mg). It is an oval peach pill like you described, and is manufactured by Qualitest pharmaceuticals. National Drug Code (NDC): 00603-3891 I've also identified a yellow oval...
