The man I give care to has had a fentanyl patch on consistently for 2+ years. For the last 3 months he has tested NO fentanyl in his urine! These specimens were taken WHILE he was wearing his patch. What is going on? Any ideas? ## I am caregiver for a 74 year old male with multiple health problems. He has been in severe pain stemming from an accident about 8 years ago. He takes Percocet and has been using the 75mcg Fentanyl patch for the pain for the past few years. Starting in Sept. 2013 he has tested 3 times negative for Fentanyl in his system using a urine test. I personally apply the patch, and personally remove the patches and can attest that he has consistently worn the patch for at least 2 years. List of doctors that treat with opioids for back pain in pittsburgh. I've been on the OxyContin 40mg 1 tab 3x day for about 15 yrs. 3 years ago my insurance took it off their Formulary list. 1st Year my doctor got the insurance to approve it. Last year I was put on the Opana which made me sick, throwing up every time I took it. The insurance approved me again to the OxyContin. This year it was denied so I am on the Nucynta ER 200mg 2x's a day. I have had 2 Cervical Fusions leaving me with a plate & 15 screws in my neck. I've had a Reverse Right Shoulder Replacement. I take norco 7.5/325 and every time I test for it it's not there. Can you help me with an answer? ## Maybe it's because you truly are not taking it!!! Maybe it is a placebo. Is there anybody around that has access to your meds? If so they can be replacing them with look a like pills & taking the real ones without your knowledge. If you do have somebody that possibly could be taking them wait about 1 wk after you get new script & take the pills to a different pharmacy & have them checked..Maybe your pharmacist is giving you the placebo pills/which are usually nothing but sugar pills. I am new here in eastern nc. I have had more than 15 hip surgeries and I am looking for a really good pain management dr who will listen and feel what your going through. Not judge you cause of what your on. I am not looking for no more or less on pain meds. Also I have had 2 spinal fusions and my other hip replaced. I also have sphyndholestisis. In my thoracic. Plus I have other issues. It's hard when you are so worried about sitting laying down or anything cause it will pop out quick. Please help me. I know a good one in va but not here

I'm on diazepam and hydrocodone. I went to the hospital where they gave me a shot of Dilaudid and my drug screen urine came back today that I was on Oxycodone. Does Dilaudid show up as Oxycodone, because I don't take Oxycodone? ## I don't know, but a similar thing happened to me. I came up posit ive for oxy but only took my dilaudid and fentanyl. A rose-colored oblong pill that has 7.5/3.25mg. on one side and E700 on the other side is it the same as percocet 602 ## Well the generic Percocet with the 602 marking contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 5mgs of Oxycodone. However, the E 700 contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 7.5mgs of Oxycodone. It is sold under the name Endocet and is stronger, since it has more of the Oxycodone. They both contain the same active ingredients, but the dosages aren't exactly the same. Is there anything else I can help with? ## What is the difference between Percocet and Endocet?

Ok, I don't care what people say, pharmacy or manufacturer, the yellow norcos are stronger and work different. It is getting extremely more and more difficult to find the yellow norcos. From what I can tell, the major pharmacy's, ie: WalMart, cvs, Walgreens, target, etc, all have either the plain white ones, it the white ones with reddish/pinkish dots on them, and the smaller mom and pop(good neighborhood pharmacy's) have the yellow. Last month I filled mine at target, got the white oblong norcos (10/325). Today, I filled mine at a small good neighborhood pharmacy in Ontario, California, name available upon request, and I got the yellow Watson Norco. Again, huge difference. Hello, I am a RN and DO NOT use fentanyl. I was going to my MD for chronic pain related to a back injury. He wanted a blood test for drug screen before i started taking Vicodin. I did it and it came back + for norfentanyl. I am perplexed. The only way i can think of being exposed to Fentanyl is for Patients who take the patch at work. I do give Fentanyl patches to my patients occasionally. Could skin exposure to the patch IE: me putting it on a clients skin cause the positive result? I took a percocet on Sunday afternoon and I took a urine drug test Thursday morning. Will the percocet still be in my system? ## If urine tested while prescribed percocet, but are taking m367, will I fail the test results? Is m367 a percocet pill?

Hi I'm prescribed x2 80mg oxy and x4 10 er . And my life if in ruins .. I've had 2 operations on back and the last one has seemed to have fixed my major pain . But now on havery the issue of tapperring to get dose down .. but really struggling has anyone any advice ?? My Meds last 8hours and ment to last 12 so I'm basically trying to spread them over 3 times daily instead of 2 which means always short at end of month.. its the only way I've found that works for me. These tablets have changed my life and I've lost everything. Totally underestimated the impact it would have but then again doctors don't really tell you much before they prescribe.. Popped up positive on a urine test for morphine and codeine. NEVER took either of them. Had 6 poppy seed muffins in two days. Will a hair test save my job? ## Back in 1998 the the US government changed the urine cut-off level, making it higher (2000ng/ml), so there would be less false positives for opiates due to poppy seeds. If they used the lower cut-off level of 300ng/ml shame on them for not know what they are doing. Was the urine test they did on you a rapid screening test or was it a lab test? The reason I ask this is if you showed positive on a rapid screening test they should have sent it to a lab for GC/MS confirmation. If they did do a confirmation test it could have been able to detect the difference between poppy seed and real opiates. If they still have some urine left over...

I tested positive for morphine twice now at 2 diff. pain clinics but I only take norco (hydrocodone/acetaminophen 10/325) and oxycodone 5 mg hcl. What would cause this as I'm allergic to morphine? ## This same thing happened to me today at my doctor's office and I am SO upset. My scrip is for ONE 5/325 mg Oxycodone once daily.
