I have chronic moderate pain on my side at the bottom of my ribs from a fall into my bath tub which drug would be better Mario's or dilaudid? ## Hello, Lisa! How are you doing? I'm sorry that you're in pain. Norco contains Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen. Dilaudid contains the active ingredient Hydromorphone and it is the stronger of the two. It only takes 1.25mgs of it to be equivalent to 5mgs of the Hydrocodone. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. However, it really depends on which one works best for you. Have you taken either of them, before? ## Well for one thing you spelled dilaudid correctly!

Hello; Can anyone tell the difference between manufacturers of oral dilaudid 2mg & 4mg? Is one, from your own experience, better than another? Thanx. ## Hi Lempie, I personally don't have any experience with Dilaudid, however I can tell you that depending on the manufacturer, the main differences will be the inactive ingredients. Since everyone's body chemistry is different, even if one person has success with Dilaudid from a certain manufacturer, that doesn't necessarily mean that you will. The only way to tell if a medication is going to work for you is to try it for yourself. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Dilaudid Details I hope this insight helps! ## Rhodes - Rhodes - Rhodes; smaller pill less filler no insoluble microcrystalline cellulose. Malla...

White oval with U15 imprint ## Hello, Suja! How are you? This tablet is listed as containing 5mgs of Ocycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I have a pill that's supposed to be a percocet 5 with the Imprint of U15 but the 5 on this doesnt match anything online it has no curve at all but the 1 on it looks right could u please tell me if this is real I've never seen a 5 like this on a pill it's just straight lines

I travel every week for work, and will be in Knoxville next week when my script refill is due...my dr knows I travel and provides me scripts to fill when they are due. I have a legitimate script for oxycodone 15mg - I have tried every pharmacy in this dumb town, NONE will fill an out of state script. Anybody from Knoxville able to send me a pharmacy name that will fill out of state script? ## How are you contacting the pharmacies to ask? Due to the high risk of theft, in most cases they will not actually give you a legitimate answer over the phone, even if they will fill an out of state prescription. If you are just calling, they have no way of knowing if you are real customer with a need, or a potential thief. So, they will usually say they won't fill it, or that they do not carry ...

Can anyone help me out my pain management in Miami Fl has lost his license and can no longer see patients. Can anyone help me I need a new pm in Miami or Ft Lauderdale that accepts out of state patients im from Columbus oh please email me at {edited for privacy} with info ## Hello, Doug! How are you? I'm sorry, but due to the forced enforcement of old regulations and the implementation of new ones, you aren't likely going to find one that will take out of state patients…. and if you did, it would be virtually impossible to find a pharmacy that would fill such prescriptions, because they almost all require that the patient and doctor all live within a certain radius of the pharmacy. Why haven't you just established residency there? ## To Veron thank you so much I found ...

My husband was just prescribed embeda for his chronic pain. Is it better to take it in the morning or at night? Does it matter? ## No, it really doesn't matter, unless his doctor has given other instructions, he can take it whenever it is most convenient for him. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## All those side affects and oxycodone has none in comparison to that junk. A little constipation that mirlax fixes that problem. If it habit forming wth! I have a physical dependence not an addiction to ipiods.

I live in Garden City, Michigan. I've been getting 30 milligram oxycodone 90 pills and I need a new doctor. Can anyone recommended a doctor near me? Every doctor I've called has a few months waiting list and wants all my diagnostic results and files from other doctors I've seen. I can get all of my results and procedures I have had, like my inj's. and MRI's but I failed a drug panel at my current doctor and this is why I need to find a new one. I didn't see him for 2 months so I didn't have my medication but it doesn't matter. He still won't give me my oxycodone anymore. Can anyone recommended a doctor near me that isn't so hard to get into? I have Medicare and Medicaid. ## I'm sorry I can't really help with your question...But I think you...

My pain doc. changed me from 30 mg methadone 3 times a day to a 25mcg fentanyl patch every 48 hours since I started I have had nothing but hot and cold flashes / withdrawal for 3 days and almost zero pain control does anyone know what the conversion rate of 90 milligrams methadone per day vs 25mcg fentynal over 48 hours is? I honestly don't believe that the fentanyl is a equal dose to the methadone am I right or wrong any help would be greatly appreciated thank you very much ## I'm very sorry that you're so miserable. However, to be honest, there is no direct conversion for your doctor, or anyone else, to use going from Methadone to another medication. Methadone is very well known, as reported by the NIH, for causing withdrawals, regardless of what it is replaced with or how...

I found this big white oval pill that's all blank on one side and the other side has I8 or 8I. What's it used for? ## This tablet is manufactured by Dr. Reddy's Labs and they list it as containing 800mgs of Ibuprofen, which is used to treat pain, fever and swelling. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding, and stomach irritation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have relocated to the Auburn, Calif. area and am in dire need of a doctor who will pick up where my Florida pain management specialist - fellowship - left off. I need certain procedures done, such as heat ablasion every 6 months. I have been on 10-350mg Hydrocodone for 7 years after a fall backwards from steps onto cement, which resulted in a coma, 9 days in the hospital learning to walk after 4 vertebroplasties. I have degenerative disc disease, degenerative severe osteoarthritis, 2 lumbars touching, and much more! I am a senior, and was reduced from 4 pills a day, like everyone else, to 3. The 4 just took the edge off the pain. I need these to WALK and have a semi-normal life. They work for me! I feel nothing else from these pills and am so against the new legislation. The rule-makers

I WAS TAKING 30MG MORPHINE. MAD ME SICK AT MY STOMACH. MY DR SAID I MIGHT NEED PURE OXYCODONE. DOES ANY ONE KNOW IF THERE'S A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THEM BESIDE OXYCODONE 1 & 1/2 TIMES STRONGER. I JUST WANT TO STOP THE NAUSEA. STRENGTH NO PROBLEM. JUST NAUSEA. 30 MG. IS THERE A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TO. MORPHINE 30. & PURE OXYCODONE 30 MG. THANKS ANYBODY. ## Oxycodone and Morphine are similar drugs used for pain control. It all depends on how each person tolerates it. Morphine often makes people sick and nauseaus and vomit. Oxycodone on the other hand may not. Morphine makes me sick and oxycodone doesnt at all. I think it works better too. I think you will be fine and to give it a try ## I had the same problem with them. Oxycodone didn't really cause me any severe problems,...

I had twins 10 months ago and since have had intense neck and upper back pain. Had an mri that found degenerative disc and facet disease, a bulging and hernaited disc etc. Have been getting norco from gyno for past 6months and it helps so much during the day so i can take care of twins. Been to two pain docs who will only give ibuprofen and muscle relaxers. I feel like they are not listening to me. Last one said im too young for the hydrocodone or surgery! Thats not acceptable to me. Any one have luck with docs in this area?

I have high blood pressure and I am taking loprin 75. Is it right? Note: I used to be a drug addict - i.e. morphine (opiates). ## Did your doctor tell you to take this? From what I can find, it is listed as containing Aspirin, which is used for blood thinning and heart health, but will not help lower blood pressure. Its typical side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding, and stomach irritation. Are you on any other medications?

My friend died from a Tylenol overdose. She took 16g of 500mg extra strength. She lived the first time she tried, but a couple months later, she took Tylenol again and her liver shut down and died soon after. What are the chances of dying of the same pill with the same dosage? First time she took 16g, second time she took 10g and her liver shut down. I read that 16g isn't lethal to some people? She was a little heavyset but in her weight/height range for her age. I'm just wondering if because of the first overdose - even though she lived, set up her death with the second overdose because she took the same pills with the same dosage, just a different amount. ## Acetaminophen/Tylenol/Paracetamol has the potential to cause fatal overdose toxicity in amounts exceeding 4,000mgs (4gs)...

I have been on a daily dosage (total) of 120 mg. of Oxycodone since 2013. My current provider is the VA hospital. They are getting worse than ever, treat veterans like crap, and finding a place to even park at the VA hospital is now taking me an extra 30-45 minutes of circling until I find a spot (I am a paraplegic and have to use a wheelchair so I need a spot that has the extra space that allows me to get my wheelchair out of my van). Anyway, I am hoping to find a doctor that will take over my care and continue me on my current prescription of 20 mg. of oxycodone every 4 hours. I have a condition in my spinal cord called Adhesive Arachnoiditis (diagnosed by the VA by MRI). I refused any narcotics at first and instead took a whole range of different drugs they prescribed to try to allev...

My sister is on the 25mcg Fentanyl patch. She is having problems with the adhesive. Her arm is turging red, puffing up and burning and itching. After the patch is removed getting the adhesite residue off has been a problem. She was using rubbing alcohol but is now using vegetable oil. If anything since starting to use the vegetable oil the redness, and swelling seems worse. She has switched pharmacies hoping a different brand of patch might help. She is wondering if Fentanyl can be taken in a way other than by a patch. Such as pill form etc. ## Wow! I am so sorry to hear about what she's dealing with. It sounds like she might be allergic to something in the adhesive. I experience those symptoms any time I use a latex bandage, I have to avoid them. And yes, it is available in other f...

Can you take these two tablets at the same time? Or will they interact with each other? ## No, essentially that would be double up on nonsteroidal anti-inflammatories, which increases your risk of bleeding, stomach irritation, and stomach ulceration. It would be best to stick with one or the other, according to the NIH, unless your doctor instructs otherwise. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thanks very much for your reply . I did wonder if it that was the case. Thank you again for your confirmation.
