Pure Oxycodone 30mg

I WAS TAKING 30MG MORPHINE. MAD ME SICK AT MY STOMACH. MY DR SAID I MIGHT NEED PURE OXYCODONE. DOES ANY ONE KNOW IF THERE'S A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THEM BESIDE OXYCODONE 1 & 1/2 TIMES STRONGER. I JUST WANT TO STOP THE NAUSEA. STRENGTH NO PROBLEM. JUST NAUSEA. 30 MG. IS THERE A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TO. MORPHINE 30. & PURE OXYCODONE 30 MG. THANKS ANYBODY.

Oxycodone and Morphine are similar drugs used for pain control. It all depends on how each person tolerates it. Morphine often makes people sick and nauseaus and vomit. Oxycodone on the other hand may not. Morphine makes me sick and oxycodone doesnt at all. I think it works better too. I think you will be fine and to give it a try

I had the same problem with them. Oxycodone didn't really cause me any severe problems, but Morphine always made me sick and caused vomiting, as well as joint inflammation.

There is, however, no pure Oxycodone tablets available. All manufactured products will contain some type of filler to form the tablets and help them form the shape.

What formulation is your doctor suggesting? Is it regular release or time released?

I have been on pain management for seven years through the VA healthcare system. I am suffering from 5 compression fractured disc that are degenerating. Lost 75% of the height on the front half of all of them. Cronic back disorder with degenerating disc. I have been taking 10 mlg oxycodone 4 times a day. I just got a new doctor and she said starting in Oct. 2014 the FDA is tightening up on doctors who prescribe oxycodone for pain management. Morphine makes be nauseous and knots up my stomach. I have tried methadone and cannot function on 5 mlg of it. She is trying to tell me that there are only 4 thing they can prescribe oxycodone for now. Cancer, terminal patients and 2 others. Anybody know if this is true. Oxycodone is the only med that I can take to get a little relief. I don't believe what she is telling me... anybody know about this...She has dropped my script from 240 5mg tabs to 180mlg tabs and prescribe gabapentin. The pharmacist told me gabapentin only helps 19% of the people who try it....Not a happy camper..

I have been switching from hydrocodone norco to percocet 10s for two years now ive tried everything from trazadone to tramodol my doc and i are not sure what to do anymore because she says my tolerance is sooo hi and i get immunded so easy any thoughts????!!!!

Gabapentin is for nerve pain only. Doesn't help chronic pain. I have been taking 60mg morphine sulfate, 10mg Norco, and Oxy for 5 years. Morphine has never made me sick. But the oxy did at first. Try Lyrica if you need relief from nerve pain. I found relief with it. But 800 mg of Gabapentin 4 times a day did nothing for me.
