Are any of these meds interacting with one another? ## There is always a possibility of interactions, but it really depends on you, according to NIH reports. Are you having any problems taking them all? Have you experienced any side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headaches, or diarrhea? Why is the Metformin an as needed medication? That is odd, it usually meant to be taken regular to control blood sugar levels, or treat conditions such as PCOD/PCOS. What conditi...

Is it percocet or only acetaminophen? ## This tablet contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen, which is a generic or store brand of Tylenol. (NDC 0363-0104 among others) Inactive Ingredients: - Starch, Corn - Povidone - Stearic Acid - Sodium Starch Glycolate Type A Potato Ref: DailyMed
I am stopping Norco and starting morphine same milligram dosage and just questioning if there will be any withdrawals since I am just switching meds there will always be meds on board no time. Without however because of the switch from an opioid to an opiate will there be any withdrawals? ## What are the relevant dosages? And opioid and an opiate are just two words for the same thing. The FDA warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.
How many months will morphine sulfate keep its potency when used in an infusion pump? I have to travel quite a distance to the clinic & I'd like to safely increase the time between refills. I've had withdrawal problems with a pump in the past, & recently a new one was installed & I don't want to experience that again. ## Anyone with this morphine infusion pump want to share your daily dose, refill schedule and why you have the pump?
I've been taking dilaudid 4mg once sometimes twice a day. At the end of the month when I run out, if I take a couple of Tylenol and codeine will it help till I get my pills? ## Hello, Sue! How are you? It may help, a little, but it is not equivalent to Dilaudid, so it will not be an adequate long-term replacement. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. For example, it takes 1.12mgs of Codeine to equal each 4.5mgs of Dilaudid. Is there anything else I can help with? ## As per my original post, I've been taking 4mg of Dilaudid for a year (two a day). Will oxycodone 5mg help with withdrawal?
I got k,9 it's a darker blue than whawhat I've seen before are these real or fake ## @the crazy one, I believe the only honest way to know for certain that what you have is real (outside of getting it analyzed by a lab) would depend upon whether you got it filled at a real licensed pharmacy and not by some other means. Legitimate pharmacies don't dispense fake medication, although sometimes manufacturers have been known to alter the color of their pills without giving any prior notice to patients. So that's something to keep in mind as well. Regardless, "if" the pill wasn't obtained legitimately and it doesn't look like what you're used to seeing, then it's probably safe to bet that it is fake. However, this is something that only you would know t...
seem to be getting confused between the differences as I did think both were opiates ## Hello, Todd! How are you? I'm sorry about your confusion and I'm happy to help clear it up for you. Oxycontin contains the opiate Oxycodone in a time released formulation. However, Percocet contains Oxycodone coupled with Acetaminophen. Oxycodone is also available as a regular release formulation and an instant release, called Roxicodone and Oxy IR, respectively. The FDA lists this as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I have been prescribed Belbuca 150 mcgs to take in addition to Percocet 10/325 tid. Should this provide...
Si puedo redinir msa de esta pastillas y en que fsrmasia la puedo compara ## Hi Victor, Did you by chance mean to say Watson "853" as opposed to "653"? I have not seen any white oblong pills with Watson 653. However, a white oblong pill imprinted with Watson 853 reportedly contains Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone bitartrate (325 mg / 10 mg); used for moderate to severe pain. For verification, it carries a National Drug Code of 00591-0853. Please also note that this pill used to be yellow, until the new manufacturer (Actavis) changed it to white. Please post back if you have any questions, comments or information to add. ______________________________________________________________ Google Translation From English To Spanish: Hola Victor, ¿Has querido por casualidad deci...
I moved from TN to Utah and I'm having problems finding a doctor who is taking on new patients. I have been on 60 100mg morphine 2x a day and 120 20mg oxycodone 4x a day since 2009 after breaking my back in several places. Can anyone offer any advice? Even with being on disability supporting MRIs, X-rays, etc they still want to do another surgery. Unless something new comes out I'm not willing to try surgery again. I just want to stay on what worked and not have them say physical therapy or acupuncture will fix everything because it won't. Any suggestions? ## Live in Spanish Fork my doctor retired I need to find a doctor that will help me with pain medication. I've had 2 back surgeries and severe nerve damage
I go to pain mgt and tested positive for fentanyl. I had never even heard of this before I was questioned. I take 7.5 hydrocodone, cymbalta, nuerontin, and ambien. Could any of these cause a false positive? I am completely stumped and worried this will effect my future treatment when I've done nothing wrong. ## Hi there!! I just recently came across your post as I've been absolutely going NUTS abt my recent drug test. I too tested positive for fentanyl and I have NEVERRRRR taken ANY drugs whatsoever. I have a nursing license and wld never jeopardize that. With that said.... The only medication I do take.... Is ambien. Did u ever find out what caused ur positive test result? ## I've never found out why mine was positive :( You? ## Well believe it or not.... I forced my doctor...
My husband had cervical neck fusion 10 months ago. He was given 7.5/325 Norco with no side effects. Two weeks ago he had lumbar back fusion and they gave him 10/325 for the pain. These seem to get him high plus dry mouth, urine retention, and insomnia. What's up? He is very frustrated because he has to have them for pain. We don't understand why the onset of side effects with the higher dosage. Is this common? ## Yes, it is very normal for someone to experience more side effects, when they take a higher dosage of any given medication. The FDA warns that Norco carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. How is he doing now? Has there been any change?
Found my old script from when I had my surgery. The pills I found have rp on one side and 10 325 on the other side. Are they the same as oxycodone 10 mg pink pills? ## The tablets you found are a generic for Percocet, which contain 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, constipation, headache, and dry mouth. Which one has currently been prescribed for you, is it one without the Acetaminophen?
I found a white, large, oblong pill with I 10 on one side and blank on the other. Could you please tell me what this might be? ## This tablet is manufactured by Granules India and they list it as containing 800mgs of Ibuprofen, which is used to treat, pain, swelling and fever. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, stomach irritation, and increased risk of bleeding. Is there anything else I can help with?
I take hydrocodone for back pain, but I ran out over the weekend. What can I take until I get a new refill? ## This is an opiate narcotic, so there is no over the counter equivalent. Its typical side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. When is your next appointment?
My 15 year old dog has arthritis in his hind legs. He is about 50 pounds. Can I use a 325 mg. Ascriptin to treat him or should I use one or two 81mg coated aspirin? Suggestions will be helpful. Thanks. ## Well, unfortunately, this site is not medical professionals, nor are we veterinarians, this is an information only website that deals with prescription medications for human use. What has your Vet recommended? ## First I will say that I am not a vet; however, I have a 45 pound dog that was crying out with severe lower back and leg pain last September. I took him to a vet and he prescribed the following. 3 each 50 mg Tramadol (a mild opiate) and 2 each 325 mg Ascriptin per day. The results have been miraculous for 9 months "and going". He only takes two of the Tramadol and one o...
I have a question I missed my Dr's appointment and made another one unfortunently I am going to be out of my med (oxycodone) So she wrote out a script for 5 days. When I go back to get the rest of the month worth will my insurance cover it? I have mass health. They are cutting me down as I asked them to in hopex to me getting off of them soon,I just didn't know if the insurance would cover two scripts in a month period even though it's only going to be for five days until I can go back to get the rest. ## Re: "how early can you fill oxycodone pills" To ensure an accurate answer, it'd probably be best to consult the specific pharmacy location that's filling your prescription. According to the CDC.gov, state laws surrounding refills may vary. They note that in ...
I recently received some roxycodone's 30mg from India and they don't look anything like original blue 30mg roxies.. They look like maybe watson 10/500 hydro/apap or maybe 7.5 hydro/apap with lots of filler.. What was strange is the sealed packaging actually says roxycodone and describes the little blue pill with the 54 199 imprint used to identify the roxy's. These don't have any imprint on them. I'm sure they're not real or maybe some other sort of pill, but I'm very curious to see what the picture database pulls them up as (if anything as they're generic yellow looking capsules, but I also have the 10-pack packaging that claims there roxy's they were sealed in for reference as well. ## India has different marking rules than the FDA here in the US. IVE TAKEN 8 TENS IN 3 DAYS.LAST ONE LAST NIGHT. I HAVE A DRUG TEST 10 AM TOMORROW.CAN I DO ANYTHING TO FLUSH MY SYSTEM OUT BEFORE THEN?IT'S A DAY AND A HALF CLEAN ## Is it possible to take a product bought over the counter called Creatin, for flushing your system of prescription drugs? ## Did creatin flash out your system for a urine drug test ## Just start the day before drinking water. Through that day and night plus the morning of, a gallon of water or more and I always pass. It also depends on if you have a fast metabolism, and if you are over weight. Takes a bit more water when over weight. ## I took 20mg of hydrocondone around 7pm today (sunday) and I have a blood n urine test this Tuesday. Will I pass. I'm afraid. Is there anything I can do to flush this out ## What did y...
What is this pill? For the life of me I can't seem to find out what it is anywhere! It's about the size of an extra strength Tylenol (give or take), white and round with a capital M over M on one side and a what looks like a v shape on the other. The capital M's are separated by a score and the v on the other side is impressed into the pill (as opposed to written in ink) ## I can't find a listing for this in any of our presription drug resources, either. Do you know anything else about it? Was it found in the U.S.? Does the V look like an actual V or is it more like a checkmark? ## I know! I couldn't find anything, either. I'd post a pic if i could. The mark on the back of the pill is a v shape for sure...it's a fat v, not a skinny v (if that helps at all) an...
Can you extract the codeine by using cold water extraction from dihydrocodeine ## No you cannot, you will be extracting Dihydrocodeine again, and why, Dihydrocodeine is relatively stronger with no ceiling effect meaning once you take so much codeine, the liver will not process any more. Dihydrocodeine has no ceiling effect
