I had a dirt bike accident and broke my pelvis. It is a permanent break. Can not be fixed. Had surgery to bore 2 inches of bone out of my bladder. I take 15 mg . oxycodone 2 twice a day. I now have scoliosis because of this break. I have actually shrunk 1inch because of scoliosis. I cant find my 15s anywhere in Braxenton. Why is it the Publix I use has filled my oxycontin 40s but not my 15s? I have been looking since the 30th for my medication to no avail. Why does there seem to b another shortage? ## Hello, Yoey! How are you? I am very sorry that you're in pain. I really wish I had an answer for you, but many people in Florida have been having the same problem, but I have been unable to find any current information as to why. How have you been checking with the pharmacies, have you...

I have seen a lot of negative post about this medicine but it has worked woonders for me with no side effects except for the normal bit of euphoria about 10 minutes after I take them. I have been pain free since I started. Sorry for the people who've had trouble with them. Different strokes for different folks I guess. ## Hello, Sally! Wow! I am very glad that you are working so well for you. You are actually the first person to post and not have a complaint. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Do you have any questions or concerns? ## Sally? How many are u scripted to take per day? ## I just started taking the A333 as well and it has worked for me as ...

I've been going to a pain clinic for several years after breaking my back in a horse accident. I'm perscriped percocet 10mg and norco 10mg. I've had to take extra pain medication this month after tripping over my dog and falling down. I'm worried I won't have enough of the medication in my system if my doctor gives me a urine test. I have 1 percocet and several Norcos left today is Sunday my appointment is Tuesday morning early. When and how should I take the remainder of my medication so that I pass the test if given? Thank you for your time in advance. ## How did the test turn out? There's really no definitive way to give someone a straight answer to this, because the level your doctor is looking for of the relevant medications, is based on the dosages, prescri...

I woke up this morning with extrordinary pain in my lower back. I had a couple of 5/325 Percocet t left from when I had this issue before (chronic back pain in my lower back) I got into see my doctor and was given a script for norco 5/325. It's been 5 1/2 hours since. I took the last Percocet, is it ok to take one of the norcos? Yes I know I should have aske d my doctor, but forgot. My mistake. Is it safe? ## If you only took 2 Percocet 5 mg, which is Oxycodone 5 mg/Acetaminophen 325 mg at least 4 hours ago AND you are Not taking any other prescription or over the counter medications, it is safe to take Norco 5 mg which is Hydrocodone 5 mg/Acetaminophen 325 mg now. If you are taking any other medications, you need to talk to your pharmacist first. ## Norco works great after a knee s...

I previously had off the chart liver readings from taking Lortab 10 mg with Tylenol. My pain dr had changed my medications but now put me back on. ## What are your current liver readings? Did the doctor say why he was putting you back on this medication? The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, dry mouth, and liver damage. How are you doing, now? Has there been any change? Are you on any other medications?

Is it a 5 mg oxycodone pill, used for pain? I've taken oxycodone for 3 years until my pain management doctor bumped me up to 10mg oxycodone. Thanks for posting any information you might have. ## A round white tablet with the marking of M77 is manufactured by Mylan Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 10mgs of Amitriptyline, which is an antidepressant. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, constipation, dry mouth, and headache. There is no Oxycodone with this marking. Are you sure that's what you were prescribed?

My Pharmacy wants to charge me $30, but I cannot afford $30 for my prescription so I was trying to talk the pharmacy down to like $10 for 10 pills. I'd just like to know how much they should be approximately so that I can know that the pharmacies are not overcharging me? ## Hello, Blue! How are you? I'm sorry, but it depends on the pharmacy you use, their supplier, and where you live. There is no set pricing that anyone can quote you. Just as an example, we went to the pharmacy to pick up new prescriptions for my husband and after our insurance payment, it was still over $134. 2 of the medications were $74.99 each, at the original price. (None of them were controlled substances, either.) You could try other pharmacies in your area, to see if they are any cheaper, but honestly on...

My Dr. prescribed a pain pill for me to take every 6 hours. What are the times I should take them? Example: 8am, 2pm, 8pm? Does that sound accurate? Thank you. ## Hello Debbie! How are you? That would be every 6 hours, so yes, going by your chart, you are on the mark. What medication was prescribed? The FDA lists the typical side effects of most of them as possibly including nausea, dizziness, and headache.

I have been taking oxycodone acetaminophen 10/325 for some time; now my pharmacy has changed to oxycodone hydrochloride. It bothers my stomach and doesn't seem to work as well. What is the difference between the two? ## The second one you've listed just lacks the Acetaminophen, going by what you've said in your post. What is the dose of it? The FDA warns that Oxycodone carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. The Acetaminophen does help it work better, for some people.

I am allergic to acetametephin and break out in watery sores that itch and burn. I was perscribed an oxycodone 5mg after dental surgury and after about 3 days I broke out in the sores again. Does Oxycodone 5mg have any additive that would act like acetametephin. I can take no pain meds with tylenol or ibuprophen so is there any opioid out there that I can take that wont break me out in these sores? ## What are the markings on the tablets in question? That is what would enable me to check the details for you. Can you please post back? Thank you! It sounds like you might be experiencing an allergic reaction, such as hives, according to NIH warnings. Where are they occurring? How soon do they occur after taking it?

What is this pill? White oblong with I 10 on one side and blank on the other. Need to know what this is. ## This tablet is manufactured by Granules India and they list it as containing 800mgs of Ibuprofen, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that is used to treat pain, fever, and swelling. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach irritation, and increased risk of bleeding. Is there anything else I can help with?

Have severe nerve pain.. been to 4 doctors. Not one will prescribe a pain med. I cannot take Lyrica, Gabapentin, Cymbalta or Amitriptyline. Dangerous side effects. Can anyone help me find a dr.-- I will go anywhere in Ga. or South Carolina that will help me. Pain clinics offer message, hydrotherapy and other things. I need the meds or a patch. ## I'm not sure what part of GA you are in but there are several great pain management doctors in Savannah. I don't want to post any of their names on a public forum because it unfortunately leads to their office being flooded. I will let you know to stay away from Dr Bynes, no one will fill his prescriptions. I wish I could help more but maybe just narrowing down your search area could help. ## What types of side effects do you experience...

oblong yellow scored on one side with a V and the other side with 3601 ## what is the strongest hydrorodane ## The strongest standard dosage available on the market is 10mgs, just as what is in the mentioned tablet. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. Found a strange pill in my 5mg oxycodone bottle that doesnt match any other pill. Its a small round white pill with a fancy E | 5 and blank on the other side of the pill. I've searched everywhere on the Internet and can't find anything. Please help. ## Hello, Plankton! How are you? These only recently became available and started showing up in the drug identification databases, but yes, it is listed as containing 5mgs of Oxycodone in a regular release formulation. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Your pharmacy was likely short a few of the other tablets and had to use some of these, from a different manufacturer, to...

i got these pills, i was told they are dilaudid, is this correct? because i took one by injection and it it made me puke all day...if someone could maybe help me out and tell me why they made me so sick. thanks ## These do contain 4mgs of Hydromorphone, the active ingredient in Dilaudid. However, nausea can be one of its side effects and since pills are not intended to be dissolved and injected, that probably explains why you were so ill. When you do that, you are injecting all of the medication, at once and it doesn't get a chance to dissolve slower, like it would if you swallowed the tablet. Are there any comments or questions? ## You either a) got cotton fever or b) the things you used to prepare with weren't sterile and you got bacteria in your blood stream. Either way you...

New pain doctor wants to put a morphine pump in place of meds been taking (80mg oxycontin times 2 a day) (30mg oxycodone times 4 a day) Any info good or bad trying to research this she decided this on my first visit. ## The pain pumps usually give most people better pain control and the medication is injected directly into your blood stream, so they also work much faster for pain relief. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Ultimately the decision is up to you. You may want to set up an appointment with your doctor to discuss all of the pros and cons, so you are better informed and better equipped to weigh your options. Will 800mg lbuprofen, Aleve, Advil, Alka-Selzer, Vol - tab including B2, or Phelan for nausea give you a false positive for THC? ## OK so here is my situation i took a DOT Drug test last week and the MRO contacted me. long story short he said i failed for THC. all i did is deny deny deny But a week before the Test i took another test for a completely different employer and they said i tested positive for THC too but i fought it and they sent it into the lab and it came back neg. so here i sit in a same situation now. i asked for a retest. and am now waiting to hear back from the MRO the clinic said it would be up to 7 business day at the most. i am a bit worried just because the job that i have is a one of a kind, and dont want to lose it. also between the weeks i havent smoked pot just...

Hi all, I need some help. I was taking 2 - 5mg percs a day for my fibromyalgia, unfortunately I have now developed two tumours and a cyst on my hip which cause excruciating pain. My doctor tried me on a gamut of anti-inflammatories but due to my colitis those were not tolerated, she also tried a couple other pain meds, those and the 5mg percs were not cutting through the pain. She just gave me 5mg morphine sulphate 4 x day until my mri and surgery. I have taken one morphine pill about a half an hour ago and am still in the same amount of pain. How long does the morphine take to work? If the morphine doesn't work, is there anything I can suggest other than percs? I worry that I will look like I am drug seeking but I cannot function at all with the pain and haven't gotten much sle...
