I just now read how dangerous it is. I just came off my percocet yesterday and now take this. Is it common for it to be a huge problem or not real common. Im worried of overdose. So if i took 15 mg as i broke it in half going to be a huge problem? Ive been taking percocet and methadone for years and i high a high tolerance for opiates. How long would it take if something bad were going to happen? ## Hello, Jennifer! How are you doing? Did you experience any ill effects? That is correct, it is not safe to cut or break tablets that are time released, because that could cause you to get too much of the medication, at once. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potenti...
Can anyone tell me what to look forward to when I go to management for the first time. I have advanced osteoporosis with frequent fractures and now my spine is compromised. I've been on norco,10 mg for 7 years and recently was changed to perco cent 10 mgs but I cannot tolerate then. What is a good med to replace it. I refuse to have spinal shots. ## What types of issues did you experience with the Percocet? The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. There is a form of Hydrocodone, which is the active opiate in Norco that is available in a time released formulation. The name brand is Zohydro, so if it worked well for you, you may want to ask your new doctor about trying it.
I am a mother of 3 on medical assistance and have had trouble getting any help with my pain. I've been to several family doctors looking for help but because of this drug epidemic, they treat you like a drug addict and shew you out the door. They don't want to help and don't trust a thing you say. They look at an xray and mri and if there is no obvious sign ofl breakage, fracture or whatever else they look for, they don't trust a word you say. I deal with pain everyday of my life and severe migraines at least once a month and the doctors here are so in fear and are so use to dealing with drug addicts, that they offer no help. I am so tired of going through pain and need help in finding a more understanding doctor, willing to help someone who does not have a slipped disk ...
recently my perscription has been changed from yellow norcos 325/10 to white norcos 325/10 but people have been telling me the effects are different could someone please explain the difference ## Are they the same pill, with the same marking? Or did your pharmacy just provide you with a new one from a different manufacturer? Learn more Norco details here. There are some manufactured by Watson that have had the die removed and some people have said that they don't seem to work as well as the old tablets with the dye in them. However, you haven't provided enough information for anyone to really be able to help you. ## Dear backache101, the white ones are different. They are ineffective and come with a myriad of side effects, some potentially dangerous. Be careful. See if the pharm...

I take a timed released med and have one for breakthrough pain. I have a lot of problems upper and lower back, herniated discs, pinched and damaged nerves (sciatic nerve) very bad, running down my left leg from my lower back on left side. I have scoliosis , arthritis and stenosis in my spine. I have had an unsuccessful surgery on the back on just one problem. The doctor did not shave enough off the vertebrae to relieve the pressure. I also have fibromyalgia. Having surgery made my back worse and now I have nerves tingling and bothering me that didn't before. I don't want to be cut on over and over by doctor's when it doesn't work. I am on Medicaid which makes it hard, because there are not many good surgeons who do accept it. The pain management dr. I have seems to be re...

dosage and administration ## my daughter's boyfriend and assailant was found with needles and a blue liquid in his car when arrested... what might this be? ## This is probably a perscription drug broken down to powder and with water added for injection, most likely an opiate such as morphine sulfate, oxycontin (oxycodone) , ms contin, or dilaudid. ## I have a blue tasteless liquid I was told is morphine I need to know if it is injectable. Any thoughts ## What are the different types of liquid morphine pain medications available in Australia and how do you properly administer them? ## How do I properly administer liquid morphine intravenously? I had a dirt bike accident and broke my pelvis. It is a permanent break. Can not be fixed. Had surgery to bore 2 inches of bone out of my bladder. I take 15 mg . oxycodone 2 twice a day. I now have scoliosis because of this break. I have actually shrunk 1inch because of scoliosis. I cant find my 15s anywhere in Braxenton. Why is it the Publix I use has filled my oxycontin 40s but not my 15s? I have been looking since the 30th for my medication to no avail. Why does there seem to b another shortage? ## Hello, Yoey! How are you? I am very sorry that you're in pain. I have seen a lot of negative post about this medicine but it has worked woonders for me with no side effects except for the normal bit of euphoria about 10 minutes after I take them. I have been pain free since I started. Sorry for the people who've had trouble with them. Different strokes for different folks I guess. ## Hello, Sally! Wow! I am very glad that you are working so well for you. You are actually the first person to post and not have a complaint. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Do you have any questions or concerns? ## Sally? How many are u scripted to take per day? ## I just started taking the A333 as well and it has worked for me as ...
I've been going to a pain clinic for several years after breaking my back in a horse accident. I'm perscriped percocet 10mg and norco 10mg. I've had to take extra pain medication this month after tripping over my dog and falling down. I'm worried I won't have enough of the medication in my system if my doctor gives me a urine test. I have 1 percocet and several Norcos left today is Sunday my appointment is Tuesday morning early. When and how should I take the remainder of my medication so that I pass the test if given? Thank you for your time in advance. ## How did the test turn out? There's really no definitive way to give someone a straight answer to this, because the level your doctor is looking for of the relevant medications, is based on the dosages, prescri...

The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, dry mouth, and liver damage. How are you doing, now? Has there been any change? Are you on any other medications?
Is it a 5 mg oxycodone pill, used for pain? I've taken oxycodone for 3 years until my pain management doctor bumped me up to 10mg oxycodone. Thanks for posting any information you might have. ## A round white tablet with the marking of M77 is manufactured by Mylan Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 10mgs of Amitriptyline, which is an antidepressant. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, constipation, dry mouth, and headache. There is no Oxycodone with this marking. Are you sure that's what you were prescribed?
My Pharmacy wants to charge me $30, but I cannot afford $30 for my prescription so I was trying to talk the pharmacy down to like $10 for 10 pills. I'd just like to know how much they should be approximately so that I can know that the pharmacies are not overcharging me? ## Hello, Blue! How are you? I'm sorry, but it depends on the pharmacy you use, their supplier, and where you live. There is no set pricing that anyone can quote you. Just as an example, we went to the pharmacy to pick up new prescriptions for my husband and after our insurance payment, it was still over $134. 2 of the medications were $74.99 each, at the original price. (None of them were controlled substances, either.) You could try other pharmacies in your area, to see if they are any cheaper, but honestly on...
My Dr. prescribed a pain pill for me to take every 6 hours. What are the times I should take them? Example: 8am, 2pm, 8pm? Does that sound accurate? Thank you. ## Hello Debbie! How are you? That would be every 6 hours, so yes, going by your chart, you are on the mark. What medication was prescribed? The FDA lists the typical side effects of most of them as possibly including nausea, dizziness, and headache.
I have been taking oxycodone acetaminophen 10/325 for some time; now my pharmacy has changed to oxycodone hydrochloride. It bothers my stomach and doesn't seem to work as well. What is the difference between the two? ## The second one you've listed just lacks the Acetaminophen, going by what you've said in your post. What is the dose of it? The FDA warns that Oxycodone carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. The Acetaminophen does help it work better, for some people.
