I am allergic to acetametephin and break out in watery sores that itch and burn. I was perscribed an oxycodone 5mg after dental surgury and after about 3 days I broke out in the sores again. Does Oxycodone 5mg have any additive that would act like acetametephin. I can take no pain meds with tylenol or ibuprophen so is there any opioid out there that I can take that wont break me out in these sores? ## What are the markings on the tablets in question? That is what would enable me to check the details for you. Can you please post back? Thank you! It sounds like you might be experiencing an allergic reaction, such as hives, according to NIH warnings. Where are they occurring? How soon do they occur after taking it?

What is this pill? White oblong with I 10 on one side and blank on the other. Need to know what this is. ## This tablet is manufactured by Granules India and they list it as containing 800mgs of Ibuprofen, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that is used to treat pain, fever, and swelling. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach irritation, and increased risk of bleeding. Is there anything else I can help with?

Have severe nerve pain.. been to 4 doctors. Not one will prescribe a pain med. I cannot take Lyrica, Gabapentin, Cymbalta or Amitriptyline. Dangerous side effects. Can anyone help me find a dr.-- I will go anywhere in Ga. or South Carolina that will help me. Pain clinics offer message, hydrotherapy and other things. I need the meds or a patch. ## I'm not sure what part of GA you are in but there are several great pain management doctors in Savannah. I don't want to post any of their names on a public forum because it unfortunately leads to their office being flooded. I will let you know to stay away from Dr Bynes, no one will fill his prescriptions. I wish I could help more but maybe just narrowing down your search area could help. ## What types of side effects do you experience...

oblong yellow scored on one side with a V and the other side with 3601 ## what is the strongest hydrorodane ## The strongest standard dosage available on the market is 10mgs, just as what is in the mentioned tablet. The only time someone has something stronger is when it was specially ordered by a doctor and is done by a compounding pharmacy. The pill mention is a generic for Vicodin, a narcotic pain reliever. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. Found a strange pill in my 5mg oxycodone bottle that doesnt match any other pill. Its a small round white pill with a fancy E | 5 and blank on the other side of the pill. I've searched everywhere on the Internet and can't find anything. Please help. ## Hello, Plankton! How are you? These only recently became available and started showing up in the drug identification databases, but yes, it is listed as containing 5mgs of Oxycodone in a regular release formulation. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Your pharmacy was likely short a few of the other tablets and had to use some of these, from a different manufacturer, to...

i got these pills, i was told they are dilaudid, is this correct? because i took one by injection and it it made me puke all day...if someone could maybe help me out and tell me why they made me so sick. thanks ## These do contain 4mgs of Hydromorphone, the active ingredient in Dilaudid. However, nausea can be one of its side effects and since pills are not intended to be dissolved and injected, that probably explains why you were so ill. When you do that, you are injecting all of the medication, at once and it doesn't get a chance to dissolve slower, like it would if you swallowed the tablet. Are there any comments or questions? ## You either a) got cotton fever or b) the things you used to prepare with weren't sterile and you got bacteria in your blood stream. Either way you...

New pain doctor wants to put a morphine pump in place of meds been taking (80mg oxycontin times 2 a day) (30mg oxycodone times 4 a day) Any info good or bad trying to research this she decided this on my first visit. ## The pain pumps usually give most people better pain control and the medication is injected directly into your blood stream, so they also work much faster for pain relief. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Ultimately the decision is up to you. You may want to set up an appointment with your doctor to discuss all of the pros and cons, so you are better informed and better equipped to weigh your options. Hi all, I need some help. I was taking 2 - 5mg percs a day for my fibromyalgia, unfortunately I have now developed two tumours and a cyst on my hip which cause excruciating pain. My doctor tried me on a gamut of anti-inflammatories but due to my colitis those were not tolerated, she also tried a couple other pain meds, those and the 5mg percs were not cutting through the pain. She just gave me 5mg morphine sulphate 4 x day until my mri and surgery. I have taken one morphine pill about a half an hour ago and am still in the same amount of pain. How long does the morphine take to work? If the morphine doesn't work, is there anything I can suggest other than percs? I worry that I will look like I am drug seeking but I cannot function at all with the pain and haven't gotten much sle...

Will percocet help with the severe pain in my swollen groin area and vulva from severe bacterial folliculitis, just to get relief for one night to sleep? ## Yes, it might. The FDA does warn that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. However, it would be best to see your doctor, so they can help resolve this issue. Are you on any other medications? How often have you experienced this condition?

Hello, I have been taking one Oxycodone 10/325 three times a day along with 15mg of Morphine 3 times a day for a year now. I am now in need of something stronger for my chronic back pain. What would be recommended? Thanks! ## There are stronger doses of both available, though one would not contain the additional Acetaminophen, just the Oxycodone. Your doctor should be able to help you figure out what might work best and safest for you. The FDA does warn that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Has your doctor made any suggestions?

You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, and dry mouth. Have you always been taking the same dosage? Have you switched medication...

I am allergic to red dye 40 and I was prescribed Norco 5-325 for the pain after gall bladder surgery. These are white with red specks in them. Can you tell me if the red specks have red dye 40 in it? ## Hello, Gloria! How are you? What are the markings on the tablets in question? I'm sorry, but I need this information in order to correctly identify the tablets and make sure to provide you with the correct information on the ingredients. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Can you please post back and clarify? Thank you!

I was given this for a severe tooth ache. Now I am experiencing a sharp pain in my shoulder and I was wondering if I can take this Hydro cod one/Acetaminophen 5/325mg. I would also like to note that I had an Ischemic stroke back in March2017... ## This is an opiate that can be used to treat pain, but given your medical history, it is always best to double check with your doctor. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as constipation, dry mouth, nausea, dizziness, and headache. Are you on any other medications?

I am currently on Opana ER 20mg twice daily, but with not much pain relief. Would a prescription of 30mg twice daily OR 20mg three times a day be reasonable? I have been in significant pain for a long time and want to get something that would make the pain more bearable. ## It really depends on you. A higher may help, but there is a chance that it might now, it could be that this just isn't the right medication for you. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Are you on any other medications?

Is it unusual for a pharmacy not to carry the 300mg version of Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone? My Dr. that usually writes a script does it for Acetaminophen 325mg + Hydrocodone 7.5mg and this script is for the 300mg version. ## No given pharmacy is under any obligation to carry any given medication in any specific dosage. Is it possible that your doctor meant to write for 325, rather than 300, with the 7.5? Have you tried contacting them to ask? The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth.

I am so angry, upset devastated that some doctors (well most for myself) have not only denied me the medication I desperately need, but the way I've been spoken to during some of these consultations just blows my mind!!! It's scary to think that these are the people who hold the power, they play god with our medicines. Our pain relief, which is our lives at the end of the day. I will never ask for another script in my life, it would only be another chance for me to be labelled a drug seeker! Things need to change. ## You keep asking. Tell them addicts use pain killers to escape from life...pain patients use them to participate in life! ## Oh my gosh I have to say hello. I am taking the tramadol tablet with 58 on one side & TV on the other. I've been taking tramadol for about 4 months. I picked up a refill today and the difference is this group of tramadol is bigger than my normal prescription. By the way, I went to a new pharmacy, but that shouldn't matter right? ## Yes, Teva Pharmaceuticals list this tablet as containing 50mgs of Tramadol. Variations in size can occur due to the use of different inactive ingredients. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. How is it working for you, so far?
